    Ezeran downs a nostrum and casts a dark spell at the Paladin Priest from the back row. Ezerans stats are outdated, I missed updating the character statistics since quest 158. That has been corrected now.

    Watching all the commotion around him Ezeran considers the alternatives, the symbiont however is not that tactful and hurls a giant load of acid spit at what it consider being the intruders. Ezeran stands up, brimstone and fire in his eyes. "I don't recognize your authority to represent any law, and certainly not the people of Eubric. Leave those men here with us and be quickly gone before you miss the deadline of your beloved curfew."

    Ezeran motions to Petaldan and Torald to follow him without drawing to much attention to themselves he then adresses Sküld. "Great to see you again, we don't have much time. Should we help you trying to find the Oracle?"

    "A balanced oligarchy can be better than an autocratic dictatorship, I can't vouch for the self proclaimed saviours. Can they be trusted? I sense the risk of foul play here..."

    Closing in on Vindsval Ezeran whispers to him. "I know people listen to you and that you are wise. My symbiont is picking up planar energies nearby, could be anything really but we should not rule out that it has to do with these events."

    "Yes, the demonic energies concerning the painting helped med considerably I only hope we didn't attract scarier things out there..." "Can anyone verify that they are indeed whom they claim to be?"

    Ezeran looks concerned, the symbiont agitated by all the new sensory inputs wiggles its tongue to and fro as in sensing for energies from other dimensions. "The circumstances are troubling but it's good that we are together in this. I missed you on our last quest." looking proudly at Petaldan he continues "Petaldan will go to the history books one day I'm sure. You should have seen his courage standing up to that crazy old man on our last mission."

    Sorry for being slow on the uptake, I've been on vacation over christmas.

    Backed by a ferocious blast of wind Ezeran arrives, he looks haggard massaging his temples. Seeing Petaldan and Torald he moves over to them. "Well this is an interesting development..." Reading the newspaper over other heroes shoulder Ezeran and the symbiont shudders. "This is not good. Not good at all..."

    Ezeran crosses his arms and looks on as Vindsval tries to resolve the situation.

    Inspired by the resolve of his comrades Ezeran uses a smelling salts and channels the inky black darkness from the void and Casts a darkness spell at Pong Merc 3 from the back row.

    Seeing the young knights innocence Ezeran smiles reassuringly and whisper to him: "I would really like to do that..."

    Ezeran leans in to be able to respond to the young knight. "Yes, sadly my mother has become one of them and the symbiont sometimes grants me visions of it's former realms. What is happening here might well be observed by forces in those realms like a madmans beacon luring the darkness towards it."

    Ezeran moves over to stand beside Petaldan as to give him comfort in his resolve. "You are a fool old man, your perception of power will lead to your doom. I have witnessed the planes where the demon nobility reaches out to this world to brake the backs of people such as you just to be able to give your soul to their minions to feed them. Your body will perish here but your soul is in grave danger..."

    Somewhat weary Ezeran flings his satchel open and throws an entire bottle of nostrum right into the maw of the symbiont. Admist the sound of shattering glas he sighs and prepares for the oncoming confrontation.

    Ezeran tries to clean out the teeth of the symbiont while studying the scene. "There seems to be complications in these family matters.." he mutters under his breath. He turns to Petaldan with a stern look. "You don't want to get used to that. Ever. I promise you that..."

    Feeling numb Ezeran halts and tries to reawaken his body to commit once more to the fight while the symbiots spits saliva slowing their attacker. Ezeran is stunned this turn.

    Ezeran sighs and turns to Petaldan "Raise your shield young master knight, these guards are like fire ants..." Ezeran casts a fire spell at Body guard 5 from the back row.
