    Hello, I decided to build another LOTR creation. this time there are armies of elves and gondor together defending the mountain pass. The cration is not yet finished (I have to change some yellow heads to light flesh - gondor soldiers, add dark green capes to elves and finished terain under the armies - right now you can see there are just reddish brown plates...)     I put here pictures of my older castle - crown knights castle. I have plans to rebuild this castle and make him more like my litter crusaders castle - I mean with so many details on the wall for example.. (I posted pictures of the crusaders castle here : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=122658 ) So hope you will like my older creation. The size of castle is 64x80 studs. Castle conists of 2 parts (each 64x40 stud), the village is 64x40 stud too. In future I want to rebuild also the village, expand the vilage to size as castle (64x80 studs) and make some terain around so total size of this MOC will be in the future 128x120 stud (6 parts, each 64x40 studs).     Man! I am so proud that you use my creation of "council of elrond" as one of two creation that inspire you! I was also inspired by Disco´s council. He inpires me for example with seets for minifigures. the figures can have cloth and cen sit on th chair and thats very good in my opinion. I see that you chose the same building that I have and also the floor... again I am very proud that my council inpires you to build your own :-)

    thank you Fletcher, crusaders are my favourite fractions from old sets too. I was thinking to put to this castle crown knights but they have my second (bigger) castle so I decided to put here my crusaders :-)

    thanks, that was the idea, to display old sets not just putting them on baseplate , but add also some terain around :-)

    I decided to build smaal castle for my crusaders (they are one of my favorite fractions since I was child). I try to build this castle as a tribute to old time castle sets from 90´s .     yes I am waiting for custom gondor helmets, as I know the helmets will be this year, but probably do not wait for helmets and buy torso and legs first, because I am afraid that in future there could be situation that will be not enough torsos... here it is: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Friend.bricks thank you, I decided to have such huge army for one reason : to have enough bad guys who will fight my good guys. I want the number of bad to be twice as number of good. I have 60 crown knights, 30 elves, 20 rohan...so together 110 good guys. My orcs army consists of 180 infantry (pictures are here), 50 uruk hai and 20 warg riders (pictures will be here soon, first I must build terain). Because I want also minimum 20 gondorians, the number of good guys are 130, so there will be 130 good guys against 250 orcs. I want to build castle diorama (128x120 stud) - that will be castle + village and crown army marching to war. on other baseplates I will create elf army , gondor army and rohan army, also marching to war to help the crownies :-) So thats my plans for future

    because LEGO made only few orcs faces I decided to add some custom faces. they are original lego dark tan heads and have printing made by one of my friend (he is selling these heads in his BL store). the quality of these heads are like original, the printing is so googd that if you have original head and this custom head, you do not see the diference in quality.

    thank you :-) I still need to add some axe head on the lance (around 10-15 still missing). I already have 30 elves and 20 rohan riders (rohan i try to made them not clone eomers but I use some Viking torso and other, put here pictures when i finish terain - do not want to presenting them just on baseplate). I also want create gondor army, I posted here gondor soldiers made by my friend..)

    after some time I decided to expand my orcs army (I presented it here on page 49 I think..) Here are some new pictures of main army (180 infantry + 2x balista + 2x cavetroll - one I am still missing but wanna buy in future). I have a plan to make some terain for my 21 warg riders and also for 50 uruk hai thah I have. These 3 armies are together my army of evil, total number of orcs : over 250. when I finish terain uder the rest 2 armies I will put here pictures.     like the idea to build something so huge as minas tirith. just 2 things : 1)i think that 195 orcs are not enough.. you will need at least 400-500 2) if you are gndor fan... my friend is making gondor soldiers (torso and legs and shield with gondor white tree... ) i will for sure change my gondor army (as you i built it from heroic knights) and spend some Money to have origin gondorians. in the past i was against custom things, but these are like original lego and the same quality. if you are interested, here is his contact: friend.bricks@gmail.com

    i have also the orcs heads , they are amazing and qualitty like original. I was afraid if the quality is good enough to turn the helmet on head, but nothing happened, the head is really like original. I bought aroun 50 to customize my orc army. when I will hae time i put here some pictures. And the same quality are the gondor torso.. as I wrte it here.. i am waiting for those custom gondor helmets and for sure buy the gondor soldiers to create my own gondor army :-)

    CUSTOM ORCS ! wow! have you ever seen this orcs? Looks really good. I must have some of them at home. I bought from that guy some gondor shields and quality was exelent, like original lego shields, so if the quality of this orcs will be same i will make some Great army of orcs - already have 170 orcs , see my photos here on page 51, but army with this guys will be much more better :-) http://www.bricklink...p=Friend.bricks I will write here when I will have some at home -)
