  1. Thank you. Yes, I program PlumQuad to stay on the workbench borders, but it is very easy to change it. Here, the goal was to test the 35kg.cm servos for a big quadruped. I am aware about the rough kinematic, that why I have a slight disapointment in the video. I don't really understand why the right side legs don't lift. When I put the quadruped on a stand, every looks good. To make a good kinematic it takes a lot of time and I am already thinking about an other project. Nevertheless, if somebody give me the good values table, I will appreciate. To see the program, it is better to go to full screen.
  2. In this video, I use RC servos with Arduino Uno to make a big Lego quadruped. I am aware that the kinematic is not very good. I hope next time I will do better.
  3. The Geek KittenBot servo has not very good 3D alignment with Lego, but you can adapt it easily. In this thread, https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/169482-brick-compatible-kame-quadruped-robot/ you can see how I made a Spider Bot with this servo. In the video, at 2'02", you can see 1/4 yellow bush that I made cutting the 1/2 bush, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=866#T=S&O={"iconly":0} To do that, you hold this bush between two fingers and pass it on a little saw blade. Don't hesitate to ask.
  4. May be something like in this video. https://youtu.be/N8iDY9oTMig
  5. Thank you very much. In this video, https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/169482-brick-compatible-kame-quadruped-robot/ I use a program that you can find here, https://github.com/oracid/Easy-Quadruped-kinematic Some ones tell me that this program is not easy to understand and I have to write a new one more readable but with the same goal. In this program, the servo move degree by degree with a fixed lapse time between 2 degrees. By changing this delay, you can do acceleration and deceleration. In my next quadruped, which I hope is coming soon, I am not interested about changing pace. My goal is to make a bigger one and nowadays I fight with servos torques. That is why I made this video. But one day I will go to interest about this. It is exactly the same with an EV3. Believe that the EV3-G langage is like the C langage. Do you have any project ? Tell me about it.
  6. In this video I show a new mounting for RC servo 40x40x20 and how to make a walking robot articulation.
  7. This is very interesting !
  8. I have to admit it was my job, over 30 years ago. Today, I am retired. Programming, for me, is something terrifying. My mind is so focused on my program, day and night, that nothing exists. This may seem surprising, but even my relationships with others are affected.
  9. I don't mind at all. Anyway, your shield seems good. Don't hesitate to have a look to my program, I am sure you can use it for your arm. https://github.com/oracid/Easy-Quadruped-kinematic
  10. I am not very clever about LiPo charger, but are you sure this is a LiPo charger ? Look at this one, I have the same, https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/IMAX-B3AC-Compact-Charger-Pro-Lipo-Battery-Adapter-2S-3S-7-4V-11-1V-Professional-Balance/32752543289.html?spm=a2g0w.10010108.1000016.1.227d4c94pauvNh&isOrigTitle=true As you can see, there are two connectors. One for 2S battery and one for 3S battery. When you charge a battery, the 2 or 3 led lights red, then green. This is very important. My research is "charger lipo rc". Be careful, a LiPo battery have to be charged by a LiPo charger.
  11. Very happy you find it ! This looks good ! I hope you will make a topic of this. What is this card ? I am very interesting of it.
  12. At left, it is the axle pin 3749, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=699#T=S&O={"iconly":0} At right, it is the pin 3673 with a 3 holes beam, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3673&name=Technic, Pin without Friction Ridges Lengthwise&category=[Technic, Pin]#T=S&O={"iconly":0} At right, the yellow part is a home made spacer, because this servo is not exactly Lego compatible in XYZ dimensions. You can use paper board or nothing if you are not very demanding. Don't you see the hole in the back face of the servo ? Please do it and show me. Anyway, don't hesitate to ask again and again.
  13. Thank you everybody. On the back side of the servo there is 2 pin holes. One is for the black pin(2780) or grey pin(3673) and the other for the blue pin(4274). You can too put a stud plate(2x3). Tell me if I have not understood your question.
  14. In this new video, you can see my last quadruped with little Lego compatible servos. This quadruped is based on an Arduino Nano controller. I have written a very simple program to test any walker kinematic. All informations on the description, but don't hesitate to ask for information. Hope you like it.
  15. Thank you for the clarification. I did not know that.
  16. So it is a good idea for 8 motors. This is a very interesting topic !
  17. No, it is written "stainless steel". It is not the same. Please try with a magnet. If contact, then this is not aluminium. I have powered a 7kg tank with only 4 servos. How heavy will be your project ?
  18. I don't understand why do you need two servos for each wheel. How much heavy is this ? Are you sure this axles are aluminium ? Where did you get that ? I hope one day, Lego will make a 3 axles beam connection.
  19. I guess this is possible with a LiPo 2S batterie, but in this case @pasquentmax had an old useless NXT battery.
  20. 9.48V, this is not bad, this is normal. May we have a link to see what do you mean about "external power supply".
  21. This new sprocket is like a dream. In 100 years, maybe, there will be a new track.
  22. The french touch ? I presume.
