Captain Pirate Man

Thank you sir, I really appreciate that. Story telling is one of my favorite uses of Lego, especially as an adult. It's really one of the MAIN reasons I got back into Lego collecting as an adult. Next up will be Redbeard, then Blackbeard, Ironhook, Davy jones, and I'll also be doing Broadside and other Imperials as well. I plan on doing a video on ALL the main Pirates before I am all set and done.

Here is the STORY of Cortez!! He is a supernatural Pirate Captain I brought to life!!

No worries, Redbeard will be getting his own episode as well (probably episode 3). I filmed an episode on Cortez first (it was the pilot episode, to make sure I was happy with overall concept). But I figured it would smarter to start with Jack or Redbeard, I went with Jack because he IS the more popular pirate overall (everyone knows Jack). I'll be releasing the episode on Cortez next (just because it's nearly completed). After that will be Redbeard, Blackbeard, Ironhook, Davy Jones, Broadside and more. This episode was the "silliest" I had in mind, because it's Jack of course, lol. But for Blackbeard and others I will be using real life events for inspiration. So more to come!! Yes, he is!!

Finally, a man of taste. I had the SES as a kid, and I LOVED it then. But as an adult, I see how flawed it is. So many Lego fans, and even pirates fans tend to look at this ship through rose colored glasses. Is it a good ship? Yes. Great? No, especially NOT for the after market price, you can MOC your own ship for cheaper, and that will be better. Congrats on getting it at a good price (is snag one as well, for the right price). Also your modifications look great 👍 👍

I plan on picking this up next year sometime, no money for it yet, lol. I'm excited about it as a Pirates fort, it's a cool looking shipwreck island. Im a Goonies fan, but not a HUGE one. I like the Pirates aspect of it. I don't collect BL designer sets, so this is my next pirate set, lol.

Both armies are impressive, but that Red Coat army is NICE 👍 👍 I have my doubts we will see Red Coats anytime soon, so hold on to those!! BTW, I like the comic idea you have.
