I think it's a great MOC. Simple in terms of the build difficulty yet it effectively captures the source material. The hidden cyrstal is a nice touch. Nice work.
Great scene. Your Doomsday really captures the character. I'm wondering if the grey slope in the back could be replaced by more of a jagged look to be even more accurate to the source material. Depending on who's drawing him at the time, I've seen him with large spikes protrusions down his spine. Makes him look even more menacing IMO.
Great work!
Very nice. I also like the way you photographed it, especially the last two pictures. Your composition in both really conveys a sense of tension appropriate for the scene.
It would take me 11 months just to gather the parts for something like this, let alone build it.
How do you move it, or do you? You should have this on display somewhere for people to see it in person. I imagine it's even more impressive if you're standing next to it.
Fantastic work!
That Juggernaut looks like, well, a juggernaut. Amazing work. One question, though, how do the clones see where they're going? It doesn't look like the opening in the front hatch is low enough for them to see out of. Perhaps some sort of radar screen is needed on the inside of the hatch?
I thought it was going to be the Star Destroyer set but the seller just cancelled the order as they ran out of stock. I'll have to see if I can pick up one on sale later this month.
On happier news, I just picked up the new AT-AT at $40 off.
Hello all.
I've been perusing these forums for a while so I thought it was probably time to actually become a member.
LEGO was always my favourite toy as a kid, the only one that I would invariably return to time after time when I'd become bored with other toys. My mother tried to give it all away numerous times but luckily I always resisted and I still have all of my childhood LEGO. After seeing the LEGO movie, I was inspired to set up my own LEGO room in my basement (sadly much more modest than Will Farrel's).
I have plenty of ideas of different projects I want to build and hope to find some further information in techniques and ideas to help me.
