Great review but Future74's are better with comrision shots of the new and old versions on the same vehicles/ships. I would have liked to see the stickers applied but you get enough out of the review to answer all my questions. I like how you added the play set features. Im not that happy with TLG printing on the droids. I noticed my R2 head print was off alighment a bit, but with more detailed printing there is more margine for error.

Once again most awsome review Futrue74. I love the comparison pics to get feel from old to new. I think the old wing shape was better but over all with a bigger ship and hull shape the new set comes in at first place. Now the figs, Darth Maul face looks like a happy beady eyed bush baby unlike the original which had a mean look. All the other figs are an improvment though. Didnt want to comment on the original 7151, as its not worht it. It looks terrible.

This justs looks odd aginst the two newer versions of the Falcon. Much more detailing on the newer versions.

I was going to post a pic of Han and Chewie both in the cockpit, but Future74 beat me to it. The box art depicts both in the cockpit but is a bit tricky to get them both in.

Just finished building it and is better IMO than the old, much more detailed.

Awsome review, I really wanted to see the comparison between the new and old Falcon. I missed the old version and IMO the new is much better so Im happy that I will be able to pick this set up.

I saw the new Falcon @ BigW Australia on the weekend for $280 AU. Shop@Home has it listed for $249.95, as saving of $30. Might wait until they have free shipping or a sale starts in Australia before getting this must have set for me.

Just picked up my first 2011 Star Wars sets from BigW, Sith nightspeeder and Genosian fighter. I love the Genosian set . Just checked to Austrlaian Shop@Home site and the New Star Wars Lego was up as well as the new banner.

Nice MOC, part selection and colour looks good. Great to see a vehicle that has not been MOCed a thousand times.

I like the additional grebaling done for a more detailed look in the midi scale ship.

I think the Geonosian is awsome but his neck is a little too long but much better than the previous vesion. Now with Ki Adi Mundi I think he is quite acurite aginst TLG Clone Wars figures. His head shape mimics the real head shape but all Clone Wars faces they are horrible and this takes this figure down a notch IMO. Gerat set and will be getting this, aslo good if you missed the privious Commander Cody fig.

Not bad, took a bit to see the mods but I think the colour is much better than the original blue. Good to see rare ships moced or modded.

I agree with Slimninj4 the base looks odd with out a roof and proper walls. This is not what I was imagining when I first heard of whats in this set. Still going to get it to add the the other Hoth sets.

I agree with the last two posts,we need the whole line of bounty hunters from ESB. Also would love to see a new Jabba's palace with band , new Jabba with printing and pet crumb and the mighty Rancor + his keeper.

For the 4th of May I perchased the UCS JSF with the discount, also threw in a boba fett old style key ring.

Man you nailed this MOC. Istanly has a star wars feel. Nice use of colours as well .

I think this set is faily plain. I would have liked to see some back printting or leg printing on the scout trooper. He hasent changed in 10 years apart from the all black head these days. and when together you cant tell the diffrence between new and old figs. I personaly think the scout trooper is one of the best looking troopers in the Star Wars saga and wish Lego would redesign him.

The Tactical Sword looks like the lightsaber stolen from the jedi temple befor the fall of the old republic by Pre Vizsla, leader of the Mandalorian Deaqth watch. Might have to get a black one.

I would have to agree with you here LEGO AFOL, this is an awsome set just due to the 12 figs you get with it for the price. The new Gungans are much better than their first run with great looking prints. Over all the droid carrier its self was fun to build and looks and dose its job. Would love more sets to come out like this but as the Doctor said in the previous post battle droids are cheap to make so they can put more into a box with out extremly pushing up the price. Man the battle droids are connon fodder and need as may as you can get your hands on for accurite displays. The battle of Naboo had battle droids way out numbering the Gungans so I think the 2:10 ratio is correct.

Sorry Doctor, I was just getting lazy and didnt want to keep typing. They said they would review the permotion and put better procedures in place clearer terms and conditions. With all the conplaints and great sucsess of the give away the will review their promotion process.

I love the Fluro Green 49. I have always hated the yellow looking lightsabers with the old Star Wars sets. I have seen pics of the 2011 line with the green saber blade and looks much more accurite. Now to order 100pcs from Bicklink to give my other Jedis the right cloured blade .

Finally got my JSF and I recived the poster but no minifig . I called them and they let me pick any of the avalable key ring minifigs at the lego site. I already have both versions of the Boba Fett so I got my self a Emperor Palpatine . I asked if there was any way of getting the fig and they said no there was no stock left. They also said that the permotion was every popular and had alot of complants about non Star Wars sets getting the free poster and fig. So next time they run the permotion that they will do it better, what ever that means.
