Same, and I love the idea of combo-ing this with the recent tie fighter set to get another trooper. -

I'm a sucker for transports and interior space so 40$ to transport a bunch of Imperials is a win in my book. AAT has always been a tank to me with no interior or transport capabilities. -

I'm with you, I think the ITT is going to be a sleeper hit. The build looks bomber, and looks like it's going to have a decent interior that can actually transport troops. I am excited for it more than the cruiser if I am being honest. -

One this is for sure, if you get the cruiser the ITT and the recent tie fighter you can have a pretty sweet Imperial Remnant Collection, my issues with scale aside. -

I do love mando's speeder but what makes it iconic was his teamup with Vanth. The tusken stuff is useless otherwise and I am not going to pay 30 dollars for half a set. If they made a companion set with more tuskens vanth and a Krayt build I would get in on it, but the whole thing feels imcomplete to me. -

Good idea. I know people rag on speeder sets but I wish so badly that ToT was a dual speeder set with Cobb Vanth's speeder instead of the tusken hut and ballista build. -

Yeah I don't want to jump the gun too much and assume it's all bad and I do hope it gets a bit more interesting once we see the inside but I don't think this one is for me. I will probably build a display around the RC. Also would this magazine include the store exclusive Forge set, I am wondering if that's coming in a day or so or if that wouldn't be in a promo magazine such as this. -

I don't think it will be big enough to fit them all inside or even recreate any of the scenes. I was hoping they would let the main center hanger be the launch hanger and charge station for the darktroopers with one side as a hallway to a decent bridge in the back half and the other side as a hallway to the prison for Grogu to recreate the fight between mando and Gideon. I suppose the most ideal situation would have been a main catwalk to the bridge down the center with tiny halls on either side one side with the prison the other side with the charge station, and then a larger bridge room at the back, the catwalk down the middle instead of a hanger would serve multiple scenes. I'm curious what the interior will be. -

Looks like all interior space will be in the front half of the ship, and a decent center portion of that might be taken up by the micro hanger build, the bridge looks like it might seat 1 if it lifts up. Edit: Others may love capital ship sets, but this one may not be for me, I was hoping they would prioritize the build around 2 darktroopers with more interior devoted to their charge station and launch bay instead of doing a whole micro fighter launch bay, I really hope this isn't the only way to get Fennec. -

Awesome, that looks great! Also in case anyone is a scale stickler like me, it does look like the mandalorian starfighter and the new Slave 1 will scale very close to the scene with them parked next to each other in mando season 2. -

That would be really cool to get another variant on Mando, he needs his jetpack and a smaller side cape to go with it, but I could also see them doing the scene before he gets his new armor where its just old mashup version of him with Paz and the Armorer, and the ice cream holder with beskar blocks. I'm also going to be very amused if the Slave 1 has space for a carbonite block but no second seat to speak of. I was hoping they would prioritize seating two over a rotating cockpit so you could fit Boba and Fennec into the same ship, I am not sure if we will get many other dedicated sets to those two. That Fennec figure is valuable because she comes in three different shows, you can put her with the bad batch set or mando sets or the new Boba show. It seems like lego is prioritizing ships these days with the most crossover, Bo katan's ship also spans several eras including clone wars and rebels and most recently the mandalorian. -

After the Bad Batch reveal I am hoping that a lot of these helmeted characters have alternate hair pieces included along with unique prints. Fennec Shand, Bo Katan, Even mando at this point needs a face print and hair piece for the final scene of watching Grogu leave. It would be so hilarious if the Forge set includes yet another beskar mando with a spear, I kind of expect it to include the original mashup mando with the rifle and blaster but we will see. I love these sets, and deciding what to buy and display on a mando dedicated shelf is going to keep me up at night. I have held off buying anything so I could make a better decision with more sets out and I am torn on buying the Crest or the Cruiser, I can't have both, my OCD will never accept the scale difference haha. I will wait to see how Slave 1 scales with the RC, I don't know why that set is being retired, it would also be so funny if we see a rapid turnaround for a new RC like they did with this new slave 1. This time in all stores and not just Amazon. -

I wonder if there will ever be another remake of the RC, probably not. The IT-S is a cool build it just doesn't have much tie in to the universe other than the ride, and not a lot of us get to go do that ride so I have a hard time getting attached to it. Also I agree that the ghost will likely be a main ship in the ahsoka show @ToaDraco -

All good points, I can still dream though, and if we get more rebels content in future shows then it may increase the audience for Rebels as more people will go back and watch it on Disney Plus The release of the ITS transport really confused me, and I doubt it's sold all that well. I would bet money that an updated Ghost with the attention to detail that the new Marvel guardians ship got and the entire OG crew would outsell the ITS transport in a heartbeat. On a side note I didn't realize that the Razorcrest received TOTY award for 2021. I can't fathom why LEGO made this set an amazon exclusive. Also are the rumors true that this set is retiring at the end of the year, that decision would confuse me to no end, considering that you can still buy Vaders castle after what feels like forever. -

I hope so!!! Judging on how they went with an updated bad batch shuttle set for the new show instead of a clone wars version I think it's decent speculation that we would get a new updated ghost with the Ahsoka show if that's the ship she is flying around in. Who knows, but I wish I could get that OG rebels crew in minifig form, they are so awesome. I missed out on those years for sure. This is why we need a CMF so we can get releases of old characters from shows LEGO won't make product for anymore. -

With the bad batch shuttle coming out and with the success of the Razorcrest (I think it's got the most reviews of any other star wars set on amazon and on lego.com right now), you would hope LEGO realizes the value in other main hero ships besides the falcon, like the Ghost. I understand their fear that obscure niche sets from the animated shows wouldn't sell but I think there is a huge market for revisiting the animated shows, an updated Ghost with the whole cast would sell well if they released it. We always get a ton of OT ships. I've been rewatching rebels and it's a tough pill to swallow that LEGO will only ever do one round of sets for that show. Meanwhile X-wings and Tie fighters get a release every odd year. -

Gotcha, I wasn't saying a new spear mold, I know this part can be bricklinked, I was just wondering how many mando sets this part will get officially released in as most kids don't know how to use Bricklink. Mostly, what I was speculating about is whether or not LEGO would include a few bonus weapon accessories in the Forge set since its basically an armory, throwing an extra spear in would be nice for kids so they can get a fully kitted mando figure without having to buy a super expensive set. -

I'm also hoping for the recolored katana piece. Could you guys imagine a dual molded black and white katana piece with white edges and black interior? Its likely that the beskar spear and darksaber will be exclusive to the Gideon cruiser set for a while isn't it? Canonically the scene in the Beskar Forge with Paz Vizla was only in the first 3 episodes of the show, but the rumors say we are getting the Jetpack which was in episode 8. Does anyone think we will get a few non-canonical accessories in the set such as another copy of a beskar spear. -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Alex_South replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Future Bad Batch Set Predictions: 70$ Imperial Attack Shuttle (Dark repaint of Republic Attack Shuttle) at same scale and similar build as Bad Batch Shuttle with 3 Elite Squad Troopers and space for crosshairs inside. 20$ Imperial V-wing with clone pilot and droid (Scale comparable with modern A-wing builds) 40$ Rex's Y-wing with Rex and Omega. I predict this will be a downsized build from the CW Y-wing (to scale with modern X-wing and Tie builds) with Rex as pilot and Omega will be in the bubble turret which would work perfectly since she will probably have the short legs and won't be able to sit, which would explain not giving her space in the shuttle. It's been many years since any of these vehicles have had a modern release and it seems like decent speculation to assume that Rex would still be flying around in the Y-wing. Both Rex and the Y-wing would fit with the Ahsoka Vs Maul set and with the 501st battlepack so the minifigure and ship would service multiple shows and eras. It also seems like the new imperial army will be using the V-wing primarily since it has sort of a prototype tie-fighter wing shape. We will see if any of it happens but I would place money on seeing these sets. -

The Shuttle looks great, it's a day 1 buy for me. It's not perfect but it's really close. I think the icing on the cake would have been if they split the rear hinge to either side of the main body so they could fit a gunners seat at the rear, but it's not a big deal at this point for me. The attention to detail with alternate hairpieces, a gonk, BB poster stickers from the show, and wrecker's beloved weapons crate show me LEGO put in the effort on this one. I also agree with the sentiment that it will be really easy to modify that storage area into a final seat for Omega, it looks to be 3x4 studs which is plenty of room. Now I am waiting to see what that Imperial Cruiser looks like. I don't have a lot of space and I have been holding off all Mando Merch until I can make a display decision. I really hope the Armory includes beskar mando. I will be happy to skip the TOT set. I am either going Razorcrest or Light Cruiser as a display centerpiece. The big cruiser kind of messes scale for me, I might just hold off on the cruiser and do a display built around the Razorcrest, especially since the armory would go well with it, and the tie and new troop transport will scale better than the cruiser. I just wish there was a speeder bike for the scout trooper. -

The hair piece would be great, and a set of those bendable short legs that harry potter has been hogging all this time. EDIT: Dang I just looked and the kid is probably too short for those medium legs, would still need the tiny stumps that can't sit. Besides, the kid would need another speeder bike if there's no room in the shuttle . -

That's a really good point. I am hoping there is more complexity with the kid and that they don't just rehash the grogu plot. I want the story to be more about the kid becoming part of their team and stepping up to join them. If done right the kid is a great way for younger viewers to get connected to the bad batch and invest in their story by identifying with the kid's POV which would be a nice change of pace from just oo-ing and awe-ing over Grogu. Grogu is a brilliant wellspring of future content and he is a character that will pay off huge down the line for lucasfilm since he's gonna live another thousand years and might be the next yoda-like guardian of the force, but for now he's mostly just cute. The kid in the bad batch looks old enough to have a fully formed personality and an arc through the show. Sorry none of that was about legos, so I will also say that I really hope we get another bad batch era set with that kid, we don't get enough little star wars kid mini figs, anakin is the only one I can think of. -

The 3d Model's texture appears to have a small web-like pattern on the panels, my guess is that this print is LEGO's interpretation of that style, and this makes me hopeful the red windows are printed too. I would be so stoked if there are no stickers on the shuttle. Also I love all the detailed head prints. Can you see what his robot arm looks like, did they give him a gray hand?
