I have recently received the 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium and 75081 T-16 Skyhopper. I've been too sick to build lately, but I'm looking forward to getting them open soon. Still waiting for the 75133 and 75136 to show up for sale. .

Anyone know what the release dates are for the 75133 and 75136 sets? Thx. .

What you think of the Star Wars EP VII Sets after watching the movie..
TK924 replied to Darth Dino's topic in LEGO Star Wars
After seeing TFA four times now (which I loved BTW) I doubt I will be getting any of the TFA ships or sets. Although I have ordered some TFA mini figs. I just don't have the room for anything other than OT sets. -
With Boba and Han figs already out there, one unique figure is a "surprisingly outstanding minifigure lineup"? Not quite. .

Even if you bought 2 of these, you still can't make a complete platform. Plus, the absence of stormtroopers, Leia, Chewy, C3PO, Lando, Vader, Bespin guards? Sorry, but I think TLG missed the mark on this one. .

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
TK924 replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Since I don't own the 75050, I can only speak to the 6211. I like the larger size of the 6211, but the 6211 is not very good for playing with. It does fall apart easily... unless you add to the bottom. I hated that every time I picked it up, the bottom would break apart. Easy fix though. Also, as someone mentioned, the exposed technic bricks do not look good on the 6211. This can be fixed like I did below... Here's a 6211 vs 75050 comparison video someone did. Maybe this will help you. . -
Thanks! .

Ok, not being a very creative person, I gave this a shot on my own. I have yet to buy the pieces as I'd like to get some feedback first. I'm trying to keep it simplistic and inexpensive, yet recognizable. Empty it has 163 parts. I already own the Death Star Troopers set (75034) and the Tie Interceptor (75031) and I thought this would be a good way to display them. All I'd need to add is the Emperor Palpatine fig, but this is what it should look like when it's complete. Thanks to the OP for the idea! Comments/suggestions welcome.

Great idea! I'd like to see more. .

If you only have one cantina set, it may be very difficult to put more than 3 band members in there. Someone else might have a suggestion, but I would think you will need a second set to expand and get more space.

[MOC] Imperial Troop Transport (With two 75078 set)

I look forward to seeing the result. . -
When they are released, I might pick up set 75133 and 75136 for these figs. They would make good additions to the cantina. Plus, I could add R2-D2 and C3PO from set 75136 to the landspeeder. What do you think? .

Finally got my second 75078 set and reproduced this vehicle. Thanks to the OP for sharing! . -
How do you display your models? With or without stickers?
TK924 replied to hallonsylt's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Stickers on! SW Lego is my hobby. I'm not in it for investment purposes, so I'm going to enjoy every build and display to the fullest -
That looks great! Thanks!

Thanks! That is helpful. I think for now all I want is a couple of aliens for the vacant booth in my double 75052.
-
Set #1 - I purchased a complete 75052 from Jet.com when they had $15 off your first order plus I had a $5 credit there too. So $20 off that one. Set #2 - I purchased the Cantina only from eBay for $24 (no mini figs, landspeeder or dewback.) The 3 Bith musicians I aslo purchased from eBay. Right place. Right time. I guess.
-
So I have finally put two sets together and here's the result. Very similar to what others have done, so I must give credit to those that posted their ideas. Of course it's not completely done as I have to add some more aliens. All in good time. Serving up some drinks. The expanded bar. The band. The lounge with jukebox. Here's what I have in it thus far. Set #1 - $32.00 Set #2 - $24.00 (no mini figs, landspeeder, dewback) 3 Bith musicians - $11.77 For a total of $67.77 I hope to add some more aliens at some point. Thanks everyone!

My original BL parts list was much bigger and included some different bricks than what comes in the standard set, but I decided to just replace the blue bricks with gray ones... for now.
-
I finally replaced all the blue parts from the 6206. I went with mostly DBG on the inside and LBG on the outside. Thanks to all for the help and suggestions!

Here are a couple of options on the Cantina expansion... Option #1 - http://imgur.com/gallery/mbgeN or Option #2 - http://imgur.com/a/kiyjj I prefer Option #1 at this point as I really like the way this one has the cantina band displayed.
-
Those are all great ideas. I'm looking forward to the possibilities. I just picked up 3 extra Bith musicians as I have decided to expand my 75052 set with a second one. Just got to find one at a decent price. Just picked up a second 75052 for $24.

Just picked up 3 Bith musicians for $11.77 Now to find a 75052 set without mini figs for a decent price. Nevermind, picked up a second 75052 set without minifgs for $24. Thought it would probably not get much better than that.

That looks pretty close. It'd be nice if his eyes were all black. Maybe color them in with a fine-tipped sharpie?
