Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Sorry, my mistake. Yeah, it doesn't wrap around. Lol, good catch. Too bad Starfire has green eyes; otherwise, Lego could have gotten some more mileage out of this piece . Edit: Or maybe they can, it's not like Scarlet Witch's magic pieces are the right color. -

No, everyone who has seen the set has reported Rhino is definitely a brick built figure with a Rhino (not sure if that means a hug like ASM2 or his classic comic outfit) minifigure inside. -

There were no pictures allowed at the toy fair and it doesn't sound like many if any of the figures were present in anything but concept art anyway. We might get pictures at Nuremberg Toy Fair (Jan 28th - February 2nd), but we should definitely be getting some from Toy Fair New York (Feb 14th?-17th). -

Not yet, which might be why Marvel got the Juniors and DC got the Duplo. This way they'll be more Duplo DC sets to go along with the last ones and Marvel fans can finally get their hands on a decent Green Goblin. -

Alright, thanks again. This might just explain something; looks like Marvel got the Juniors set while DC got the Duplo set.in Now I just want to know what is up with 76033. Is it a secret summer set? Did something go wrong and production ceased? Is it some sort of exclusive? Is it an unlucky number so there isn't going to be a set? Did Lego just unknowingly skip it over? Is it a set coming out next year? Is Lego really just trying to make me go out of my mind trying to figure it out?  I need answers! -

Man you're lucky, I've been trying to forget about The Riddler Chase (the set the Batmobile I assume you are talking about is from) since SDCC 2013. Thanks, you wouldn't have happened to remember any juniors sets at the Toy Fair (if you even saw them) would you? -

I don't see any similarities besides the tail fins, color, wheels, and the shape of sides in the middle. It could be. -

I don't think it does but maybe I'm interpreting what we've heard wrong. No idea what the minifigure looks like. -

Supposedly its a brick built mech suit with a Rhino minifigure inside it. The mech suit, which I heard is MOC level phenomenal, is said to have a very organic feel to it. -

It is a bit surprising. Really not sure going on with Juniors this year (other than that Green Goblin set), but until we hear otherwise I'd assume there is no DC juniors set this year (and hold out hope that one with Raven will be coming this summer). I would rule out the building of the set idea, Lego typically does these things far in advance, I'd say if a DC Juniors set does exist, either it wasn't shown at London Toy Fair because it's exclusive for some reason or CapnRex101 forgot about it like he almost forgot about the Green Goblin juniors set (although you'd think when he remembered the Green Goblin set he would've remembered any DC juniors sets). -

Great catch, that's gotta be it. Not much different from the 2012 version (which is still the best one to date IMO) but there are definitely some differences in the build. Also, is that a new cockpit piece? -

Brickset report from CapnRex101: "DC Super Heroes (June) Probably the biggest surprise of the entire Toy Fair for me was the news that the Killer Croc bigfig was nothing more than a rumour. I asked the staff member about it and he commented that he was aware of the rumour but didn't know where it had come from as there was no truth in it. Unusually it is the minifigures that disappoint in these sets (although I am looking forward to Deathstroke) while the sets looked pretty good. 76034 Harbour Pursuit (£29.99) - This set includes three minifigures: Batman, Robin and Deathstroke. The image of Deathstroke on the card was still blank but I am delighted to see we are getting a Deathstroke minifigure as I love the character. I believe Batman now has leg printing but is otherwise the same as his most recent incarnation and Robin was wearing his New 52 garb. The Batboat has dual cockpits and Deathstroke comes with a jetski used to tow the safe he has stolen. 76035 Jokerland (£89.99) - This set was very impressive in every regard except for the minifigures. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Batman, Robin, Beast Boy and Starfire are all included and each villain comes with their own twisted fairground ride. Joker has a large brick-built version of his face which is over the entranceway to the park while Harley Quinn rides a motorcycle across a highwire. It was unclear whether the villains were the same as the previous versions but since the minifigures in the packaging were not completed, I suspect these are new variants. Poison Ivy has a plant-themed ride while Penguin looks to have spruced up 'hook-a-duck' to make it rather more deadly. A 1989 Batman style Batmobile is included with a large air intake at the front. I like the set itself but would have preferred to see a couple of new villains. Beast Boy and Starfire were represented by blank minifigures in images." -

We might find out more about Ivy tommorow when brickset completes their toy fair report. If not, maybe Nuremberg will get us some pictures. -

Batboat Harbor Pursuit is 30 pounds (or maybe it's euros?), which will probably translate to $30. Man, that stinks. Yeah, these sets are a little disappointing after the superb winter sets, but they are somewhat close to what I was expecting, so I'm not exactly underwhelmed. Poison Ivy and (especially) Penguin rehashes are really the biggest bummers though IMO, especially since we could have gotten soo many other interesting figures. -

We'll see them maybe at Nuremberg Toy Fair (Jan 28th - Feb-2nd) but definitely knock on Groot at New York Toy Fair (Feb 14th - 17th). And that's seems to be the only way we'll see pictures unless we have a catalog leak Lego Raven use your powers... oh that's right, you don't exist , guess its all up to just2good now . -

Because Teen Titans are pretty popular so why not put them in the most expensive set. The only other thing I can think of is they've hung out at the amusement park on their cartoon show a few times so maybe they went there to have fun, got trapped, and need Batman to save them. But yeah, Jokerland does sound killer (literally). -

I heard Ivy already had this hairpiece: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Part_95225, probably in bright red. Penguin's obsession with ducks is strange, especially since I thought it was Hal Jordan's and Oliver Queen's thing: http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/comicsalliance.com/files/2011/03/gl02.jpg . And I can remember a few times in the cartoon when the Titans were at an amusement park (now I need Raven and a giant chicken in that set... maybe an extension polybag like Rocket Raccoon and Groot).
