    Probably a Lego Batman Movie Theme Sets Discussion thread. I don't think one exists, but it seems too early to start one anyway. Plus, we don't have much, if any, information to go off. DC is probably pushing new 52 which is why we got a lot of new 52 deisgns. Captain Cold is probably classic because a lot more people seem to prefer his classic look. We already got new 52 MM last year as a promotion so they probably went with classic just to make it different. Supergirl's new 52 is probably more difficult to do than the classic look. Superman's new 52 would require new prints so they probably went with the classic that already exists to reduce costs. I probably couldn't have used "probably" anymore, but we don't actually know Lego's reasoning, these are just the reasons I'm guessing Lego had for doing this.

    This probably belongs in separate discussion. I hope we also get some really obscure villains there (Killer Moth, Polka-Dot-Man, Kiteman) as well as some more of the classic Batman villains. Really would be awesome if the movies plot was all the villains in the different Batman universes (Comic, 1960's, Burton, Schumacher, Nolan, and DCCU) team up to take down the combined force of all those universes and others (Zur-En-Arrh, Dark Knight Returns, Rainbow, Darkest Night, Brightest Day, Brave and the Bold, and DCAU) Batmans (what's more awesome than a team of Batmans?). For that I just used Microsoft Powerpoint's formatting options to put the hood from Taskmaster on Captain Cold and recolor the arms. I have in the past used Microsoft Paint and LDD2Povray (which was really amazing, but my computer ended up doing some self-updating and I can't get that to work anymore ). Anyone else having an error where when they are on this page they are just suddenly redirected to some random health website?

    I don't have the physical parts, but you can get an idea from this (quickly and admittedly poorly done) digital render: Personally though, I HATE Cap's New 52 design.

    That 6th thing is just a rumor (almost everything about this movie is; I blame Lex ).

    I guess, maybe they were wrong though... or the split could be in response to the complaint that they are putting too many characters into this movie.

    Hence the leak yesterday? Who knows, they could have just (less than a week ago) decided to split the moivie because they found it was way too long (or twice the money sounded too good). Or maybe they are still deciding what to do. But, those are just theorys, I'm still waiting for confirmation.

    They'll probably just release some of the wave in mid-October/November and the rest whenever they were going to come out. That or everything will come in mid-October/November. It would depend on how spoilerish the set are, I imagine. Then again, why couldn't they release the sets as they planned? It's not like TDKR set was on time.

    They could have just realized B>S was too long and needed to be broken up and figured announcing the first part in the trailer was the best way. I'm going to wait for an official announcement or trailer. February 6th. For the whole movie, but if they just decided to split the movie into two, they might have post production for the first half done in time.

    There's a rumor going around that Batman > Superman will be split into two parts (Part 1: Enter the Knight on October 23rd 2015 and Part 2: Dawn of Justice on March 25th 2016). I wonder (if this ACTUALLY turns out to be true) if we could get (at least some of) the sets a little early, say October or November. We probably won't know if this is true until we get to see the trailer (rumored to be attached to Ascending Jupiter released on February 6th, 2015).

    First I've heard of this. Contact Customer Service and you should be able to get the right part, and probably keep that wrong part as well.

    There doesn't seem to be any year without 2 DC movies until 2021, and that's because they aren't announcing them this early, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. For Captain Boomerang, I'd prefer his JLU design, but I think he'll be new 52. As for the Wentworth Miller Captain Cold (I can't wait for his return on the 20th btw), there's a pretty good custom here: https://www.flickr.c...gf/15920757742/.

    Lego probably would have just given him white hands if they went the new 52 route. I can't even say how much I hate new 52 Captain Cold. So glad they went with the classic. Normally I hate bigfigs too, but Killer Croc from Lego Batman 3 is the excpetion. I love the amount of detail that went into that figure.

    I actually thought about that when I first saw Dogpound. I really think they'll go the bigfig route, though.

    I don't see any problems with the chains, I've wrapped chains like that around bigfig arms in ldd, does it not work in real life? If there is a problem, Lego will probably just skip the chain. I really don't think we'll see a non-bigfig Killer Croc. Also, I realise this is probably a really dumb question but is Cyborg's head the same color as Man-Bat's? I don't own any other black (if that term is offense to some I apologize in advance) minifigures and always wondered what color Lego used.

    Not necessarily, we didn't see leaked molds of Grodd or Darksied, especially this far in advance. I'd rather have the bigfig just because the bigfig from LB3 is amaxzing IMO. Also, we really don't know if the set will come with a anything for Croc or if it does, what the build be or look like.

    Arkillo's mouth opens as well in the game but he doesn't have a hinged jaw. Killer Croc could just be better designed in the game because he is much bigger (popularity wise) character, plays a larger role in the game, or it could be because he going to be released and the figure is going to look exactly like he does in the game (or all three even). We won't know until we have more to go on, unfortunately.

    Interesting, I really hope we're right about Killer Croc. Did anyone else consider that maybe The Batboat Harbor Pursuit could be the Deathstroke set? I don't know about the Joker Bumper Car, sorry.

    Actually, it was $160, but anyway figure counts for Super Heroes seems to have gone up since then. In 2012, Hulk's Helicarrier Smash (I think I got that name right) had 4 figures and a bigfig for $50 and Gorilla Grodd goes Bananas has 5 figures and 1 bigfig for the same price. And just last year, we got 3 figures in the Riddler Chase for $30 and now we are getting 4 figures in Brainiac Attack for $25. We could very well see 6 figures in the Jokerland set; I just do not think we have enough information to make assumptions yet.

    All that new info was what alot, if not most, of us assumed and speculated about the sets. I really think his brother's friend got his info from this thread. Just my theory though. And why do you think it will 6-7 figures? We have never had a set this sized in the Super Heroes theme to have any indication of how many figures we will see. Plus, this year we saw a surprising amount of figures in the sets IMO, especially in the larger sets.
