  1. Man, I'm going to be disappointed if that doesn't happen. I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed we'll be getting several of the Squad members in sets next year.
  2. Watch, Suicide Squad will pull a fast one on us all and Slipknot will be the only character to make it to the end . The costumes look way better than I expected they would; really hope we'll get some Squad sets next year (comic based and movie based are both fine by me).
  3. As are the rebooted costumes for most of the characters.
  4. Actually, I think it's Wally West. The jagged line joining the red and yellow at his waist is definitely his, although the chest symbol is Bart's. But, the two Kid Flash costumes are both too close to call anyway. Although, the game Kid Flash has red hair like Wally, not brown hair like Bart (though, they could have messed up colors). Whoever it is, Kid Flash would be great to get (and Bart and Wally both look similar enough that it could be used for both).
  5. HERE HERE!!! Although, I suspect if we get Kid Flash, it'll be Wally West (please no New 52 for this one) and Bart Allen will be Impulse.
  6. No, basically it's just been a big minifigures vs minidolls debate here.
  7. Yeah, no exclusive figures and most of the peices are likely available in other sets. I love exclusives like this - no one whines for years for missing out (yes, I'm still silently crying over that SDCC exclusive Bizzaro).
  8. Wait, if it's a stupid gun then shouldn't Riddler have it to go with his stupid spray?
  9. Please tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't understand why the duck ride has an arctic theme.
  10. Agreed. Whether we get minidoll sets or not, I really hope we'll be seeing an increase in the number of female characters in the regular minifigure line (and at the very least, a Raven minifigure). Is there really any reason we can't have minidoll sets and more females in the regular sets just to make everyone happy? Edit: Sorry, misunderstood what you were saying.
  11. There were 8 of them in a Lego Games Batman game, which was only released in Germany, I think, because of the discontinuation of the Lego Games theme.
  12. Fifth, you forgot microfigures.
  13. What if Lego were to do a wave of minidoll sets as well as some minifigure ones? If DC wanted to reach the most females possible, that'd be the way to do it.
  14. I'm sure we'll be seeing him in future sets, you know, just as soon as we've had some time to buy the $120 set. That still doesn't really help if we get any new characters exclusively as minidolls. I'm really hoping Lego will just promote DC's whole girl-thing with a wave of Birds of Prey sets or something.
  15. If that last part happens my tears will flood the forums - ALL the forums.
  16. I'm leaning towards animation, although those characters designs will probably be used for the products, both the Mattel ones and the Lego ones, so I guess it could technically be for all three?
  17. To serve as an incentive to buy the $120 set?
  18. Yes, they do. I really hope you're right as usual.
  19. It's not 100% guaranteed (yet) they'll be minidolls, but it (unfortunately ) looks that way for basically the reason you stated and others. I have a feeling Lego will just use the existing doll molds with some new printing and colors, and the existing hair molds except a new one for Batgirl. Judging by the picture, it looks like we'll be getting Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Katana, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn at least. So far, I'd say that's nothing to really suggest we'll be getting anything (besides Katana and Bumblebee) we haven't already gotten (not that we don't know what might inevitably be coming exclusively as a minidoll - Raven ). Also, I really hope that Wonder Woman shield (assuming we'll be getting one in Lego form) won't be exclusive to this girls theme as I can't see buying a whole set for that one piece (I guess that's what bricks and parts is for) unless it comes in a set with a better invisible jet.
  20. Well, the minidolls do resemble real (don't ask me what I mean by that term) people more than the minifigures do, but yeah it definitely doesn't look good for the minifigures. (If Lego dares to make a Raven minidoll without a Raven minifigure, though :damn: !!!)
  21. I wouldn't say that as that's just DC's artwork and doesn't have anything really to do with whether or not Lego goes with minidolls or minifigures, just what those figures/dolls will probably look like. Minidolls do seem the most likely, unfortunately.
  22. What I think will happen is Lego will give us a bunch of sets with minidolls each containing one new character, wait a year or two until we've had plenty of time to buy them, and then release those characters in minifigure form. After all, why only make money on the character once if you can make money on them twice . But isn't the point of this whole excursion to expose girls to the the DC Universe by introducing them to the different female characters? Well, besides making a profit off of the parents of little girls, anyway.
  23. Just occurred to me, what if the Heroines and Villainess DLC is a promotion of sorts for this whole girl-aimed theme/sub-theme/line? Oh yeah. Really hoping we'll see Raven, Black Canary, Killer Frost, Amanda Waller, Huntress, Hawkgirl, Cheshire, Artemis, Terra, Granny Goodness, Fire, Ice, Wonder Girl, Power Girl, Batwoman, Vixen, Zatanna, Mera, Spoiler, Carrie Kelly, Plastique, Cheetah, Giganta, Circe, Silver Swan, Ravager, Star Sapphire, and I think that should do for the first wave .
