Hogwarts cloister by Hugo, sur Flickr Oxford Cloister was the location of a scene in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's movie. In this scene, Professor Moody turns Draco malefoy into a ferret. This scene is a pretext to developp part of the cloister of the University of Oxford. I stay in the theme of this license, but this time with an exciting landscape witht he duty to produce a convincing lawn, two buildings in the second background, one of which forms Church, and in the 3nd background, a sky. It only remained to stage the characters of the scene on the lawn, and some in motion under the vaults of the cloister. An owl, symbol of license, soars in the marvelous sky of an arriving spring. ---------------------------------------- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Moc: Expecto Patronum October 2021 ---------------------------------------- The Expecto Patronum scene takes place at the end of the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Harry tries to save Sirius Black from the Dementors's kiss. To celebrate the 20 years of the Lego Harry Potter, and include the number 20, I wanted Harry's patronus to turn into 20, instead of the stag. The hardest part about the MOC was to produce a dynamic scene including the attack of the Dementors, and the patronus 20 blocking them. I made the choice to replace Potter's patronus with the 20 that the competition called for. For the Challenge of BrickPirate whose rule is a Medieval building on a plot limited to 32x32 I décided to build the angle of a convent where we can see a part of the cloister. The proportions are practically respected even if a caveat must be asked: the statue of the Virgin Mary in reality is the size of the Dome. It's hard to imagine such a large Virgin in Lego. The interior of the Basilica has also been redone on a microscale. I hope you will enjoy reproducing this construction, emblem of an entire Marseille people. Hogwarts-microscale-perspective by Hugo, sur Flickr _________________________ New Moc based on the Harry Potter Universe ----------------------------------------- Harry, Ron and Hermione come back to Hogwarts for a new year. They took the Hogwarts Carriage at Hogsmeade. It is pulled by Thestrals, skeletal winged horses that only people who have seen death can see. ------------------------------------------ I tried something new in this new creation: the perspective (and microscale): the carriage is getting smaller and smaller on the scene. To the left, the trees are following the perspective and are getting smaller and smaller . To the right, the trees are on the first plan, so they can't be on the scale of perspective. At the center, i built a microscale Hogwarts. ------------------------------------------ The perspective give me the possibilty to build a landscape without using billion of bricks. It was the first time that I had used perspective and microscale. It's up to you to tell me if it's successful. I still have to improve myself on it to produce new creations ------------------------------------------ See you soon for a next creation uruk/hugo

I, thank you for your comment. To be honest, i didn't count the number of brick and it will be a liar to tell you something about an estimation ^^ Just for the tile 1x2 on the first wall, i used 400 of its.

I have the information in Europe that there will be pre order at the end of April in the website of Lego for a First June.

The burrow is in the spirit of the wave of 2018. The rest is less. Private drive is too square. The room of requirement looks like nothing: a poor wall (but for 19,99, ok). Personaly, i am not fan of the building of Hogwarts too. For hedwige, i have the picture of un great MOc in my mind, so for this, the standard of my vision find the lego set bad. It is just my appreciation. If you like it, it is not a problem for me.

All the set are not incredible, except the burrow. The design is disappointing. Just the figurines are in the good standard of 2018. Stickers and méta-pièces are everywhere.
