I think you can make a good fellbeast with only needing a new head mold. While keeping the size smaller than smaug.

kids might be waiting to watch lotr movies uintill hobbit 3 has been seen. so it would make sense to release another wave after hobbit 3 has been in cinemas. when the kdis have seen the mvoie and will recognize the sets. In theory anyways. if lego already released their sets when it wasnt wasnt popular the sales could ahve suffered obv.

The design is from the first movie. I think the idea was he was not fully formed then, and in DOS you see him better formed. so presumably in bo5a hes similar to DOS if not a little mroe shaped.

Gandalf is covered. hes in dol guldur. And with the galadriel vs witch king set coming, the dol guldur sets from last year are still valid.

Keep in mind I only count unique minfiigures. wave 2 had: 12. wave 1 had: 25 +goblin king so wave 3 laketown could have laketown guards and it wouldnt be part of the 16-7 total. and bo5a might have 2 new orcs but it would only count as 1 new fig.

the wave should have 16-17 figures. so thats 8-9 to share btween lake town and bo5a sets. (unique figures, no duplicates or reused figs counted)

Yeah. After the game released, i emailed LEGO about my ccomplaints about Galadriels hair, and linked them my flickr gallery to show them my point. that gallery also has Bain hair so they might have seen that too. But the game came out late march and the Video guy has had the smaug set since FEBRUARY. So I would imagine any attempt has been in vain. BUT lego set Bilbo is not the same print as video game bilbo. so so far the video game is 66/33 accurate to the sets Based on smaug and bard being accurate and Bilbo not. SO lets hope the game has more mistakes the sets wont have ! Pieces: 101 313 471 858

Kili is wearing his belt along with some royal dwarven torso armor.

It wasnt reported, it was assumed based on other sets with same price. what was reported was "bilbo and a couple dwarves" wich is very much what we got ;)
