How come green lantern isn't mentioned in the press release? When they do have a "preview" minifigure of him, also they say the comic con minifigures are exclusive, so does that mean they are never gonna be produced again, or is it just a timed exclusivity, Or just exclusive to comic con atm? also all the other dc characther we've seen on display are classic comic styled. Would lego release a sub sub team with movie green lantern along side the other, and would a green lantern movie theme be viable 7(?) months after release. Basicaly what i want to know is how exclusive do you guys think the minifigure really is?

Same thing with catwoman aswell, but unlike IRONMAN they have parts of their face showing. Anyways I think he will look quite alright once we see the finished version of him, even if the helmet is this large

If these figures keeps the theme alive then great! I'm not at all interested in these, and we will get a normal minifig line of sets so do what you gotta do LEGO.

i know its prototype, but that Ironman would look better if it was jsut printed on a minifig head instead of having a whole mask like batman(whose mask i also find abit too late but it works)

An article said the marvel would be coming out May 2012 around the time of the avengers movie, so im guessing thats where you will get him. Also! the new batman has backprinting, if the minifigure used in the youtube stop motion video on the site.

Are they doing to have any of the sets on display, or just the 2 minifigures they are giving out?-wich already have a 360 wiev on the website.

*stunned* if that true that there will be MARVEL aswell, that is going to be so awesome! I will hoverer try and keep it cool, uintill i see some more proof of the marvel line. It will be interesting to see the design on the marvel figures that Arent movie based, like the x-men cause the movie rights/design are Fox movies if im not mistaken.

That site is a teaser for the reveal, the date i guess is the start of comic con? so it would be revealed at that date, keeping the licence a suprise. Just my guess!

Hope the sets released around new batman movie will aslo have movie-styled minifigures, like the new black version of that batman costume, also glad i have the old one. :D This is great news!

It's based of dead mans chest, where the sails weren't tattered, they were patched, but I'd rather have them all black than some cartoony patch print.

I think the ship look really good, the likeness is good enough. Curious to see the back of the cabin. Is the map new? Also whats on the back of the figurehead? ...I hate the piece they use to hold the flag, the piece they use as railing would look much better.

I would love a theme with Wizard of oz and Alice in wonderland. The BOOKS are in public domain so they wouldnt have to pay licencing fees. We already got A wicth in the minifigure collectibles, so maybe we'll get a tin man and a scarecrow aswell!

So, when is the next toy convention this might show up at? If there is any before its released.

Oh! This could be a good licence, i'd collect the minifigs if this happened! But i image lego people get invited to all of the events like this for diff movies that warrants toys. now that MARVEL is owned by DISNEY and lego has the disney licence it might be easier for them to make a new deal if the relationship has been good so far.

I wish they'd make a new torso for will, this is the correct one for this movie, but I want the more classic Will from the first, or the coolest looking with red shirt in At world end. The ship looks quite nice, but obviously im hoping the final version will be better.

i believe everyones ar elike that, its so that the cannon fuses in hes beard wont snap off as easily(I would brefer the beard without it to be honest)
