disney bought the right to that book a long long time agao, before the potc was a movie thing. The movie OST isnt an adaption of the book only heavy inspiration.

I have a problem with the color choise with 2 of the minifigures. Barbossa would look much better with a dark grey torso, him being all black isnt right. Gibbs' west should be more blue than gray. I think it's odd tlc picked the colors they did, annoying.

The xbox 360 cover to the game has Barbossa in it! (cause dvd covers are longer than bluray covers)

I'm guessing its just because that how theyve been produced so far with the normal pirate theme, and they jsut forgot to change it for that image

It's a thing with him, in the first movie when hes cursed he cant enjoy food, so he gets a craving for apples, when hes ridd of the curse we see him eating an apple all smug!

No way the bookcase fits in there, aslo the probled with the cabin is the lack fo a wall.

i think Blackbeard's hat confirms that releasing a Davy Jones is planned, otherwise they would have chosen a way diferet design for hes minifig hat.

Do you guys think Davy Jones(when we eventualy get him) will get a new claw hand or use this, I hope he gets A new thing cause this one looks abit too MASSIVE. thanks for the screenshot whoever provided it!

That shot of the QAR looks cool! I will however take some of the gold from Brickbeard's bounty and pinm it up to look A little mroe like the movie one.

For people saying Jack got unique head in easch set, I'm pretty sure theres only 3 difrent heads 1 skeleton / norma grinning 1 tribal paint/ (propably) tribal paint scared 1 scared open mouth / normal head Anyways, gret new pictures, also some off screen screenshots from the game, wich im stoked for, more so than the movie itself!

27 unique figures IF QAR whitecap and london escape is the same jack, And captains cabin, aqua de vida and the mill is same jack. Black beards sword is jsut wrong, with the rest im pleased! I am all for creative freedom, However if i think the new flag is better, eh.

I'm pretty sure its supposed to be a water fall, and the transparent peice is proably of the same material brickbeard's bounty flag is made of. I'm guessing the fountain is in a cave behind a waterfall.

The lack of gold on QAR is A bit disapointing. Apart from that I think it looks great! most of the minifigs looks really cool, the OST Barbossa looks abit un-epic, an bealckbeards fuses(?) looks cartoony. Is the guy in black clothes in the whitecap bay set Phillip? (The new companion-like character)

SO, can we sortof assume there will be multiple versions of jack? Seeing as on one of the boxes(the mill) we see image of jack, while on the other boxes it shows the temporary pirate. As for the Black pearl coming later wich minifigures do you want. The imperial flagship had 9 minifigures and diagon alley will have 11 so can we expect soemthing like that for this aswell? I want: Jack(hat and coat) Ragetti, Pintel, Marty, Gibbs, Will(movie 1 or 3outfit), Elisabeth, Barbossa, Cotton(+parrot)

they did make full scale "models" of the black pearl and the flying deutchman for the 2. and 3. movie.

It's not pixar that makes the potc movies, its disney/ Jerry brockheimer Personaly i like the design they got for the ship better than the more real one, pirates of the caribbean is very much a fantasy series, mermaids, zombies and fish people I understand people vanting more realistic models though.

Do you think that would be two 1horse carriages or two 2horse carriages, cause 4 horses in one set seems a bit unlikely. I do agree that that set propably is a carriage, thats soemthing new for the pirate era in lego, right? I would want one 2horse carriage and a little pub or wherever hes going to. Also, the trailer(for the movie) should be allover by next weekend, exciting!

Johnny Depp has said he loves playing the character so he'll be up for it. I doubt this line will be as popular as Star Wars, simply because star wars is such a huge ting thats been around forever. Personally i'd like Pirates of the caribbean to be like that aswell, so if this happens i'll be very pleased. Hope one of the sets will give us hat-less coat-less Jack Sparrow.

We could have gotten two games though,like they did with Indy(yeah they can still do that) and I'm sure they would do a better job making a game for pirates 4 after they had seen the movie.
