London toy fair is in a week man, if the sets/figures are there there will be images online from people. Does anyone remember if the POTC lego was @ last eyars london toy fair, cause I only find images of it from the new york toy fair. might give some indication of what we should expect this year.

Some examples please. It can be hold like in the picture aswell as fit on the hand or over any stud. it would work fine, that doesent mean im 100% sure we'll get it. From the preliminary images it's not posable like the bear legs, but the head is posable like a normal horse.

If they make a ring it'll look like the one in the promo images of frodo with the ring, presumably without the words on it(that you barley see in the image)

I think Main discussion topics for themes should get pinned, so it isn't always in the middle of the rest of the forum clutter. this should be done to all the discussion topics for themes that are current. e.g themes that have new set coming out and still generate interest. I really think this would help make the forum feel much tidier and help people find their way around easier. example of topics that should be pinned lisenced: "LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion" Historic: "Lord of the Rings 2012!" I would aslo think naming these main discussing topics in a the same format, for example "Theme name year" and have the topic description say "Rumours & Discussion"

I assume this applies to "The hobbit" theme aswell, as it is NOT the same as lotr, I would like it to be added to the text description of the forum.

I think "spongebob squarepants" really is descriptive enough as just "Spongebob"

I would think the sets to be completely finalized at the toy fairs. One can expect some sets to have some building errors though, as they ususaly do at these convention things.

London toy fair 24th january I think, LEGO will be there. dunno what they will be showing, their little text sounded like its from last year.

oh i was sure he wasnt, but glad he is then. As for nick fury not being in wolverine set is because I think he is a avengers movie minifigure, wich makes more sense since he is the boss of that, even if the press release mentioned him along with the comic characthers (IF i remember right)

Sounds good, except the citadel of minas tirit has like nothing except statues of king, so if they could represent levels with minifigure statues that would work, or make use of the palintir.

Hmm, I was expecting Thor in the Loki set, but glad to hear about Hawkeye, he wasnt mentioned in the press release, so I hope this is true casue hes being presentes as an essential part of the avengers. suprised this sounds like a vehicle set though thought it would be a little part of interior or something Looking forward to seeing magneto and deadpool even tho i dont care too much about non-movie lisences

I think thats jsut the sideburn that are part of the front face printing, anyways we should go back to the topic here. I really hope you are right and lego will use their all resources, like how arm pringing is very rare, so many minifigures would benefit greatly from this. (when used whisely! I dont think it looks good on the CMF mummy for instance)

I hope they dont "waste" bricks on a transformation thing since hulk is so large, A Banner minifigure would be nice, aswell as a Seve rogers and tony stark(atleast we kindof know we'll get hes face) These all appear to be top printing.

Oh nice, wich set was this? or wich part/minifig I know of the Peter Pettigrew one, but that looks like some printing done from the top.

I doubt there will be painted wings on hes head. Would I like it? ofcourse. I do hope they do it. Without knowing how they do it at all! I dont think they have the equipment for pringing 360 on minifig heads, printing 2 sides of the ehad is one thing, but then repeating that on the other 2 sides would need them to be very exact with the rotation of the head so it aligns correctly wich sounds tricky.

I mean for the avengers movie. image of figure promotianal art the shadows makes them look darker than they are but they are beige.

Eomer has a very uniqe torso aswell as helmet. I'd say he looks nothing like a generic rohirrim.

I think: Hub area, Rivendell with the level select bits being shown in frescos like the ones around the Narsil display.

I think thats how he is in the movie, I have seen other toys of him where hes pants are beige aswell.

No nazis, the sets are based on The avengers movie, not "captain america: the first avenger"

Omg thanks, looks nice, good seeing correctly colored iron man chin and proper torso print. Also non-purple HULK pants. Captain america's shield looks too large.

I think the Hockey player piece would work pretty well.
