I was deliberately coy in the YouTube title, to build intrigue, but I see no reason to not be upfront here with you guys. Considering how much acclaim or at least respect most of the TT Lego games get, I found it strange that nobody ever seemed to talk about (or even remember) that Lego Friends had an entire Nintendo 3DS/original Nintendo DS game. I literally knew nothing about it myself, beyond "it exists." So I decided to find out exactly why it was the forgotten Lego game.

Just in that picture, I don't hate the cowl. As someone who dislikes the new Iron Man helmet piece for most prints, I can live with this cowl. -

I'm hoping we see the Dilophosaurus with updated printing, and am curious if they will make a "smaller" Velociraptor piece (around the same size as the atrociraptors) or if they will stick to the same huge scale as before (I'll collect them either way; I have a bit of a raptor obsession with this theme) -

That is definitely a torso that will look better in good lighting, and will most likely look perfectly fine. I wonder if they'll give a new mask piece or reuse one of the previous ones. -
I would absolutely go ham on some sealed copies of retired sets from when I was a poor child.

Video content warning: adult language, humor I had played this game years back, and haven't really seen much discourse around this particular version. It has a ton of differences to the console ports; death actually sends you back to the previous checkpoint, special combat abilities distinct for the main characters, and even a few scenes that the console version didn't cover, like Anakin slaughtering the Tusken Raiders. Did anyone else on here play this version? If so, I'd love to hear some takeaways.

I like how Blue has just been desaturating for years now. -

We technically did get the Beware the Batman look (inaccurately in mostly gray instead of black, mind you, like they did with The Dark Knight's costume until the newest one) and Batmobile both in the first set Flash appeared in. It just wasn't branded as such, bizarrely enough. -

I did. Sadly, nothing. I also ran to spend some time with family earlier, and nothing I could locate in store in their city either. It's okay, though. I speedran the stages of grief in my car and have now come to acceptance. -

Man, the Indominus vs Ankylosaurus set literally went from “in stock everywhere I saw” to “completely gone” in UNDER three days locally. Yet again, I hesitated too long to get the Indominus. Guess I can try again in five years when they do a new set with it again. -

It was a slow find near Asheville NC, but the Tumbler has finally popped up somewhere I could grab a copy. The Batman Begins suit might just be one of the most subtle updated designs I've seen in a DC minifigure. There are slightly fewer lines for detailing (with the exception of little "points" near the neck where the movie's cape attached, nice touch), which definitely gives it a smoother look more befitting the film. The belt is the most noticeable change. The old version is more intricately detailed, and much thinner; it's probably more proportional to the movie, but I like the newer one looking more in line with belt sizes on other Lego Batmen. The back is quite obviously different, but won't really matter too much for most people. The big downside is switching back to the "standard" Batman face instead of the unique head the last one has. I legitimately hate that Lego never used that face again, as both sides not only work better for a "serious" Batman than the cocky grin, but the old face's printing looks so simple and cartoonish in comparison now. I finally caved and ordered a handful of those on bricklink for my main display figures. And of course, the fear gas face is A+, but literally everybody already knows that. Now if someone would just actually put The Batman sets on shelves, I will be a happy man. Literally every local Walmart and Target I have checked has been so slow to stock any Lego it's insulting. -

As someone who is just now getting around to watching Camp Cretaceous, I really hate how the costumes are the “pristine” versions and not any disheveled versions, considering how quickly they become dirty and damaged. As big as the wave is, does anyone think all of the sets will be just Dominion-based, or will there be some creative liberties, including dinosaurs not technically in the movie like the last two films did? I for one would love to see a Scorpius Rex included somewhere, even though it’s obviously not going to be in the film. -

Only in-universe. He’s rather popular here in the real world amongst GL fans. -

I'll absolutely get the smaller scale one as early as I reasonably can. (Finally, a new DC set I want this year!) -

Especially one that uses a standard shark head connection, so people can choose between his great white/hammerhead looks as they please. -

I think it's more how Marvel gets a CMF and sets for the current shows and Movie sets that go back and look at previous films. We get... one new Batman in a character pack (which yes, I like, but is hardly news considering how many dozens of Batman "normal" variants we have by now) and a new '60s Batman and Joker, both of which were represented before (Joker extremely similarly, whereas at least Batman has a different color, which matches some of the other lighting), and a handful of other sets we still haven't seen that are also Batman, after a year of almost entirely Batman. It's really hard not to feel like our theme isn't being strangled to death slowly. -

That was literally my first thought (and, frankly, only thought) upon seeing those as well. We literally now will have the pieces to make Clayface and Mad Hatter to finish out the "main" villain roster from way back in Lego Batman 1, and I will be sorely disappointed if we still don't see these two for years (or never at all). -

I am seriously getting frustrated with LEGO on my favorite theme. They barely release any new characters, straight up ignore most of the wider DCU in the process, keep going back to the 18+ 1989 sets (which, without any nostalgic attachment to it, is honestly not a movie worth celebrating this many times), and now they keep focusing on weird and ugly art displays. It's like they're trying to push me into another personal LEGO dark age. -

Took me a while to dig through everything to find it (that's what I get for being 4 days late to the party), and I'm very excited to see that Batman figure in HD. I'll be even more excited to compare it to the 2006 version, as that version of the Bat-Symbol is my absolute favorite for Batman. I was going to get this pack anyway, as it will let me skip the Penguin juniors set and will give me another of the new Harley to mix and match, but now I'll be legitimately pumped to get it. -

I'm so out of the loop, I don't even know what the "usual place" is anymore. Can anyone tell me if the minifigure pack has any sort of small build (like Knightmare Batman), or is it just minifigures and accessories? -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

In recent years, I've just resorted to collecting sets I want, ordering specific minifigures from the sets I don't, and it's really kind of sad. Between the DC relaunch in 2012 and 2017, I got every minifigure scale set in the main theme, and 2018 only started to drop off by skipping the Mighty Micros. I also got most of the Lego Batman line. This has been my main theme for so long, but it's honestly just getting sad seeing it get shafted again and again, focusing less on the normal waves and more on collector's items for Batman 1989, which (to be blunt) I only consider 2/3 of a good movie. I'm super glad we got the CMF at the beginning of this year to keep beloved characters coming, because this theme is turning into an absolute drought. I really want it to keep on strong, but honestly, I'm starting to worry that the writing's on the wall. I haven't really collected any Marvel, Ninjago, or unlicensed stuff in a while, and only occasionally grab Star Wars. I'm not very active on Eurobricks these days, and if this theme goes under, I'm concerned I'll hit a dark age for Lego for myself. -
I have never done a Bionicle opening-and-review video, but the theme meant so much to me as a kid, I’ve decided to dip my toes in the waters and give one a try with the Mask of Light version of Macku. Thanks! I’ll have to swoop in online as soon as people start selling the individual parts.

I have a strange and specific question. It appears the cubes have randomly colored animals; is it possible that the jungle cubes will have a blue monkey of some sort? I’m hoping to have SOMETHING to serve as a Gleek to the Wonder Twins in my DC collection.

Green Arrow wasn't the CW version, it was the New 52 version. Same as the full-release figure, just with a slightly different execution of the same costume.
