  1. Silly one, I know not what you know as common. But such barriers are of little consequence to me.
  2. Now you want me to try the talk first approach. ok umm. Aristune clears his throat, massages his neck, and begins to make some strange clicking clattering noises. Your forest speak is unnecessary Ranger, I speak your tongue. Besides, your accent is terribly. Tell the Child, this one also wishes to taste of its flesh, But I hold it back. Caution him, that if he attacks, I will do so no longer. Hold your hand Terry. It says it is holding itself back. No that isn't right. Something says that it is holding the Spider Back, but if we attack it will not any more. This spider feels like the Bore beetles did. What is going on here?
  3. Keliim and the party move south to the next room. It appears as all of the others have, save one minor difference. There is an enormous, white eyed spider crouched in the far corner. Which one of you asked for a larger challenge? That is a Cave Spider, a juvenile by the looks of it. The adults have longer legs.
  4. QM: Ready to go when everyone is. Just need a movement.
  5. More than I could have offered you, but it is a disappointment. I appreciate your offer of the weaponry, but I believe in that regard I am well equipped. Verkenner and my Bifrost blades will serve my needs well for the foreseeable future. He pats the new shining mail beneath his black cloak. It is armor that I am in search of. I have spoken to the one called Lind only briefly in the past, but I do not remember him being a student of disguise. A strange path he must have walked to bring such a change over him. Was he always like that?
  6. Keliim uploaded map.
  7. It would seem so. The appears to be a great deal of selling going on. And he looks at "Flynn Whisperer," and whatever it is that man? is doing? The hall has gotten very busy all of a sudden.
  8. Keliim enters an empty room. There are faint signs of battle. Scuffs on the floor, chips of shell and scale, but other than that nothing of note to be seen.
  9. Jimmy Christmas, I take one afternoon off and this is what happens.
  10. Ice chips fly as the cleric hammers away at the pillar of ice. The grip on the staff dimities with each swing until finally Rethinal reaches the core of the structure, dislodging an ice colored gem. With its heart broken loose the rest of the ice crumbles away, leaving the Key lying in the center of the floor in a puddle of cold water. LOOT Opal Key Staff (1wp,Ice Elemental, Staff) Opal With four of the 5 Keys in hand, where will the party go next?
  11. The party stands around the ice pillar discussing their theories on how to remove the staff. Will any of them act on their thoughts?
  12. Vindsval rights her on her chair once again. You keep forgetting Miderun, that I am neither an orc nor from Baltarok. I know nothing of Zar dal Vohl. Let me get you something to eat and you can tell me all I need to know. He leaves the table briefly and places an order for some fried bacon, hard crust breads, and sharp cheese. Then while he waits he goes tot he quest board and signs up for Quests 135, 136, and 137. He picks up his order and places the food on the table before Miderun. Eat some of this I will be back in a moment to learn more of the Zar Dal Vohl. He goes to stand beside Annienal. I would still be interested in coming to a terms of sale for the Bright Polish if you are wiling.
  13. All I can say is that there IS something behind this. Those insects were not thinking with their own intelligence. If that makes sense. I can't describe it any other way. The Locustoids are indeed our allies. We could not be here without their allowance. These are their ancestral lands. Keliim moves through the door and is his with a blast of cold. It nearly locks ups his joints it is such a shock to his system after the hot confines of the Parlor.e Before him he sees a Key staff. It is encased in ice in the center of the room.
  14. Took me a while to think of something. On a side note, how do I make a "Spoiler" for text? Lots of those around here, but I dont see a button for it.
  15. No, weapon specialization.
  16. Vindsval returns to the Hall, his newly augmented blades winking with a rainbow light, reflecting a prismatic effect from the halls torches. He notices Miderun teetering dangerously on her chair and moves to catch her before she falls. Steady my friend, one such as you should fall in battle, not in leisure.
  17. Vindsval enters the marketplace and goes directly to Anwyls Smithy. Greetings once again master smith. It would seem that I am again in need of your services. He Pulls the Robes of the Archmagi over his head and hands the tunic to the smith. If you would first remove the Ruby from this garment. I have greater need of it elsewhere. Unmerge Ruby from ROA. (753-50=703) UGH BOY! You could have washed it first, you reek of wet wolf and bird droppings. But here you are. Vindsval hands over the coin and takes the ruby and robe. The robe he places in his bag the ruby he lays back down on the smith's counter. He then removes 5 more gems from his gem bag and places them beside the Ruby. An Aquamarine, Garnet, Opal, Diamond, and Topaz. He then places his Twin Sai on the counter with the 6 gems. I would have you merge these gems with these blades. Can you do it? I can lad, but these daggers will certainly shine like a rainbow when I am done. Vindsval hands the smith 300 gold for the work and waits patiently for its conclusion. What seems like hours pass while the smith sets the gems into any available surface on the Twin Sai. At last the Dwarf emerges from his shop and sets the weapon down before the Half-Giant. The light catches the blades and it does gleam like a rainbow. (703-300=403) What do you think boy? It is beautiful work. I thank you. You héroes tend to name your fancy swords and things. What will you call it? Glitterfang. Vindsval chuckles. No, I think not. My mother told me legends of a magical rainbow bridge. The true path of the Gods. I will name this after that Bridge. Vindsval picks up his newly enhanced weapon. I will call them the Bifrost Blades With that he bids farewell to the dwarf and returns to the hall.
  18. Vindsval seems to come to a conclusion, picks up his weapons and walks, not so quietly from the hall.
  19. Vindsval smirks at the tiny man. Of course. And he hands him a vial of swirly green venom.
  20. I think we're gonna need a bigger boat.
  21. Deep Underground. The story is that it began as a single room, a natural cave deep in the bedrock beneath the dessert. That is why we must use the Portal to come here and why we must obtain the portal keys to leave. It is completely inaccessible by normal physical means.
  22. Vindsval returns to the hall shortly after Annienal. He makes his way to his customary barrel and sits. He places both of his weapons, Verkenner and the twin sai on the table in front of him. He gazes at each intently, deep in thought.
  23. Many things such as that live here young one. In the future head your father when he tells you to stay close to home. I hope to meet again one day. The Giant reaches out and shakes the smith's hand. I thank you whole heartedly for the armor my new friend. May the Wanderer guide your path. He turns to the rest of the party. I will be on the way now my friends. I hope to see you all in the Hall shortly. Until then, Fare well. Thanks for the quest Endgame. I had fun. If you could post a final update for us that would be great.
  24. Keliim finds nothing in his search save some snake skins and lizard scat. SAve for another room, with either the chance of attack or if we are lucky a Key staff, I know not what we will find.
