Indeed, I was hard pressed not to exact revenge for both myself and young Isaac. But, I had given my word as a Hero of the Hall both to serve my employer and to forgive him. Oaths given to the dead cannot be taken lightly. Tridentia does seem to reside in shadow for a place of such brilliance. I do hope to see it again. If you remember, there is a certain wizard there who we left at his word. Do you think he may have lapsed into his old ways?

Upon returning from Tridentia I and an Earthbound were hired to investigate a disturbance in a "noble's" home. It would seem that not all those who claim to be of high birth are of high character. The good doctor not only sacrificed his wife upon the alter of science but caused his youngling to be consumed by his evil. His arrogance created a living personification of pestilence that trapped his sons soul upon this plane. In the process of releasing the tormented boy, I contracted the wasting disease. In order to save "the city" the doctor decided it was in his best interest to remove the source of the potential infection. Unfortunately, he deemed that source to be my flesh. Before I was able to protest my limb was lying, engulfed in flame, upon the floor of his den. It was only the pleading of the boys spirit, begging us to forgive his father, that kept me from spilling his blood upon the floor. It has left me at yet another crossroads.

Vindsval moves over and leans against the wall next to Miderun's table. How have you faired since our last meeting? I noticed that human looked at you rather strangely as he passed? Not an old enemy I hope? You aren't going to have to show him the error of his ways are you? OOC: Vindsval had signed up for 122 as well, but things seem to look pretty full on that list

Not yet but, He will eventually though. since they are a vile of liquid it makes sense to be able to drink it, or apply it to their skin. I guess since it can be applied a weapon the latter makes a little more sense.

Are Heros permitted to drink Poisons/Venoms like they can potions and remedies and such?

Vindsval sits and reads over the notes he took in his meeting with Byblos the Ji Pei. . . Follows of Legonardo . . . Tritech Corporation... It would seem I have several quests ahead of me. It may be far longer and far more complicated than I expected before I am whole again. He pulls the Toxic Hood from his bag and examines it. Now if I were able to find a Scroll of Poisoning. Those two in combination could be of great providence.

Ahh mage and ranger, it would be good to see the Island again. Perhaps we shall have the chance to travel together.

IF only I had acquired one of those automatons from the Doctor's Home. Are you certain there are no diagrams or schematics here? The giant massages his temples with his remaining hand. Many thanks Byblos, It would seem i have a new path to follow. It is clear my next step will align with the mystic monks.

Very interesting, I have faith that my needs would lye along the path of these followers of Legonardo. Does the library contain any of their writings? If I wished to speak with these men, is there a place in this city where I would be able to find them?

It saddens me to hear of your departure, but the Wanderer wills what the Wanderer wills. May his light shine upon both your path and your soul friend Carvenhall. I will hold these items in your trust until your return. Vindsval awkwardly pulls off his robe of the Archmagi, life as a one armed man will take some getting used to, and places the Medal of Glory over his neck. He puts the robes and shoes into his bag. He looks at the bundled cloak and the note attached. I will find this Docken upon his return to the hall. He will have his package and I will keep the payment until I see you once again. Vindsval lifts his flagon. TO CARVENHALL

Vindsval is rather disappointed to hear that he was not chosen for the quest to help the child. He returns to the board and is surprised to see Tridentia once again mentioned. He SIGNS UP FOR QUEST 126 perhaps a visit back to the island will do him good.
-
Hopefully all goes well, for everyone involved. See you around.
-
It would seem a victory was not in the cards. Pardon my jest.
-
Vindsval looks down at the small human who just handed him the coins. It would appear that it was indeed not a dream. He chuckles deep in his chest. How did you fair in your endeavors? I fear I was eliminated fairly quickly in the contest.
-
Vindsval glances over at the quest board and looks at the sign up sheet. So many to answer the call of need from a youngling. Perhaps there is indeed hope for this world.
-
Very nice build there Sandy.
-
Careful, you don't want to get a reputation for have a Dinky Cannon.
-
You meaning was clear Master Germ. But the probelm remains. If I cannot control the limb with my will, then it is useless to me. I hope to find the answers I seek in the library.

I think making trick cards makes things a little needlessly complicated.

I enjoyed the tournament for the short period I was able to hang in there. I would certainly like to have another. I think it was set up well and fairly. The only thing I might change in the future is to allow for a higher purchase limit. Not the unlimited amount it started as this round, but perhaps three five card packs.

Just make sure you have Norton and Mcaffee a million miles away from your computer before you install anything else. Those two do not play well with others.

You left someone else's floating head in a bar?
-
You left your floating head, asleep at a bar?

Vindsval picks up his meal and places it at a sturdy table. He goes back to look at the quest board a second time. Disappearing livestock. hmm, perhaps a night under the stars would do me good. Vindsval signs up for quest 122. He then goes back to his seat, an overturned half barrel, and begins to eat his meal. Obviously disconcerted that he has to put down his meat to drink his ale.

Interesting ability that. My first problem will be the research to meld the will and flesh to the machine. It would be all to easy to simply craft an arm, but if it has no function I might as well nail a club to my shoulder. I believe the answer lies with automata. It will take both magic and mechanics to make this a reality.
