Good news and bad news. Bad news no poster for me. I went back today and picked up a AT-OT Dropship. I got two minifigure ice trays and two ARF troopers. I also grabbed a Bobafett, Slave leia, Imperial Guard magnet set. To my surprise it is of the older type and the figures are not glued at all!!! On top of all that I also got the Mini Monthly build, A yellow daisy like flower. Not to shabby. I used the $10 VIP credit I had and I used $60 from a sale I made yesterday, so the everything came out to only $160 w/ tax!!! Not to shabby. I also called Lego customer service to complain that the store did not have the posters. I was annoyed since I had bought SW yesterday and today. They will send me a free poster. I also ordered two key chains which came out to $5 something after VIP points and shipping. Just so I can be entered into the UCS MF drawing.

Thanks I got another one in the works but it was raining and I didnt get the angle I liked this morning. So I will have to do it again after work.

So there is a Kidsfest coming up in Pittsburgh, PA (I used to live there and have friends there) Is it really worth driving 6 hours one way and pay $20? Are there exclusives? are there vendors? Am I really going to find good deals or should I just stay where I am, wait half a year and go to the one closer in Hartford, CT?

I got the first Space Police and the great black and yellow blacktron when I was a kid. Loved them. I also really liked the M-tron sets. The magnets were cool. At a toy show in Pittsburgh a couple years back someone had the 6895 Spy-Trak 1 set for $10. I swooped it up. I always liked the classic Blacktron. I would pretend the chest was Darth Vader. KDM clearly you were not looking hard enough. These are the elite stealth ARF troopers. They hide in the shadows. I can see why you didnt see them. You need to turn up the gain and boost your levels of your monitor. Then you may catch a glimpse of the blue off their helmet haha j/k

Interesting. I really like the exposed engine innards. But I dont see a cockpit and why is the Gunship part so high up?

What is this drawing for the UCS falcon I keep hearing about? Where was that mentioned? Is it for S&H only?

So I picked up two Shadow ARF troopers after being denied a Dropship (not enough funds in my bank ) I then downgraded to a beat up Tantive IV that was 10% off. They let me keep the two ARF troopers and threw in a free Minifigure Icecube tray. Then I was waiting about 12 minutes while they talked to Visa (not my problem, it was their system) Edit: Here are updated pictures. Polybags. Comparison with Battle Pack ARF Trooper. If you notice, the ARF Shadow Trooper is missing the printing on the sides of the helmet like the white ARF trooper. Here is a comparison with all my other Black Troopers just for fun, here is the free Minifigure icecube tray that I got. I would not spend $8 on this but it is nice as a freebie. When I get home I will take better pics and comparisons with the standard ARF trooper and my other Black SW figures. Enjoy

I forgot to ask about the poster. Can anyone confirm if it is available in the stores too? Oh yeah, when I was paying for the Tantive IV the Lego store system was having a tantrum. Not my fault this time. I had plenty of funds. So after about 12 minutes of the Lego store clerks talking to the Visa rep I realized that all this trouble is for my debit card. I could just run to the ATM in the mall and get cash. There done fast. So I dont know if my local Lego Store has issues or if it is related to the auspicious day. Oh I did ask if the ARF troopers are not sold out by the 5th, will they go on sale. They said they are not sure. Corporate usually makes those decisions. So here's keeping my fingers crossed.

Sadly I did not have enough for the dropship so I found a Tantive IV on sale 10% off for ugly box. I got two ARF Shadow troopers cause at first I was spending $200 on the dropship. When I downgraded to the Tantive IV they not only let me keep the two ARF shadow troopers they threw in the mini figure ice tray!!! Not bad. Will post pics when I get to the office.

Wow this set is all sorts of awesome. It is definitely a must buy. There are so many cool play features. I love the little details. The fang as a tentacle is rather clever for the alien. I love the alien helmet so it looks like a body snatcher moment haha
