I have completed my trilogy. I got a 10178 motorized AT-AT for $105 shipped. No box but complete. I need to rebuild my other two AT-AT to compare them hehe.

The artists made a new one using a Lego skeleton instead.

I finally got Cars 2 on Blu Ray/DVD thanks to a BOGO 50% off at TRU. TRU has an exclusive 6th disc. It is all about Lego Cars 2. In it there are Stop Motion animated scenes. They were directed by Patrick Boivin. I have been following some of his work on Youtube for a while. Remember that stop motion animator who animated those transformer cars? Well he animated the Cars 2 Movie Trailer out of legos Official Cars 2 Movie Trailer official movie trailer with Lego Cars toys. The trailer was on the 6th DVD. My wife and I had a good smile watching it.

I like the rotation of the legs so they are not lined up with the facets of his torso.

So my wife wanted a new tree for her office. We had the Charlie Brown pathetic little tree last year. This year we got a pre lit tree with LEDs. Last year we used the Toy Story 3 western train to go around the charlie brown tree. This time she wanted something like the holiday train. But it is too expensive. So I used some components and added the two smart cars and recycled the western safe car into a present car. Here it is at her office. Im using the power functions, IR receiver, IR remote, lights, and AAA power brick. Sadly the lights draw too much power and cant run when the train moves.

Really? I refuse to get the UCS shuttle. I have the Shuttle from Imperial Inspection and that is more than adequate. The shuttle is so lack luster. It is just big. But the scenes of the DS is what really makes me love it.

Well the problem with plastic is that they cant work for posing the figures. Like sitting. My Ventress from my RGS can sit with her skirt. Captain Rex, cant sit with his plastic kilt. One great upgrade was the Han in Carbonite. I much prefer the new one to a printed block.

My local lego store sold Set 1 for $9.99. we got Set two on BF. They still had some cause I had to show it to my wife to get her to agree to get the second set. Gotta complete the set!!! I bought the first set at the Lego store back in October. I didnt bother with the requirement. I just waited and it was for sale.

Hmm before the Advent Calendar, it was the black R2 unit. and Grand Moff Tarkin came with Star Destroyer. But that is discontinued obviously.

Out of curiosity, will the random drawings be akin to an Advent calendar? will there be one winner each day until xmas?

My wife bought it for me last year. I was worried it would be sold out soon. At least that was the general consensus. It took us 2 days to build it. She loves to mix up the parts and find them for me. But the problem is that its faster to build than find the pieces. My favorite part is the hanger and the cute mini Tie Advanced.

I like some of the evolutions compared to others. I dont own one but the new Gungans, Sebulba, and Watto look so much better. same with the ewoks. However I prefer the EpIII Mace Windu compared to the CW windu face. Im torn on Bobafett. I like the original but the lack of head articulation kinda kills it. Luke from the Death Star is great. But I dont like his sour demeanor on the new Millennium Falcon fig.

I just got back from Costco. When they first showed up at Costco the Black Pearl was $80. But now it is $58!! Not a sale either. I passed the $80 BP but couldn't pass one for $58. Edit: I messed up the numbers. It was $59.97. Still cheap though.

You sir are a bad influence. I did not want his set since I have original Anakin and Ventress already. But this is stupendous! I will wait for a bogo 50% off at TRU now.
