  1. Well well, time for a new video! I got my first check from Youtube, so I bought 60292: Town Centre for all of the money and then I took it all apart just to modify the pizzeria ...
  2. Yes it's true! There's finally a new video from Soltown. This time around I want to present to you a big ugly rock wall!
  3. Alright kids! It's been a long time, but I've been a bit busy with this latest build where I built a lot of suggestions from the viewers. Super fun and a creative challenge.
  4. I got asked by a viewer is I could to a tour of my city, so here's one for April 2021! Thank you! I don't think Mr Walker has been in any of my videos, but Heloise has been in some!
  5. Well well, Soltown 2.0 finally gets a fire station, this staple building amongst LEGO cities. I tried to give it a bit of a spinn, so the second floor has some slide outs that transforms the room into different rooms depending on the function needed. Hope you're having an awesome time!
  6. A homage slash parody of the amazing transforming tiny apartment in Barcelona previously owned by the wonderful charismatic Christian Schallert. In this version the minifig and single woman Christina lives in this flat. Located in Soltown's hip Motown district, the tiny apartment is a remodeled office space. Designed by AFOL Solbrick and inspired by real world architect Barbara Appolloni, Christina says the space was inspired by the space-saving furniture aboard boats, as well as the clean lines of a small Japanese home. The apartment was made famous by Kirsten Dirksens video here on YouTube so make sure to watch her epic video tour! Personally I love the real apartment and wish I had something like it! Well, now I do, but in minifig size...
  7. I got that Barracuda bay recently and that made me think of The Pirate Bay (I'm Swedish and that "service" was founded by Swedes), so that made me want to build a bit of a modern day piracy bay (with a beach next to the docks ...).
  8. That door really looks amazing and kinda steals the show, but the rest is also awesome!
  9. Yo! I have all the different sizes of LEGO IKEA Bygglek boxes, and now I've finally gotten around to build something in the larges box in the first series of Bygglek. The small town in the box includes: A road Sidewalks A fire station A police station A residential home A snack bar A pet shop and a dojo Great for us with limited space at home. Here's a video of the build. Oh, fortgot to mention that there's also a post office in there!
  10. The retro vintage wave continues in Soltown! I needed to have some sort of end of my road on the shelf, so I came up with the idea of a fake tunnel entrance.
  11. All right! Well, I did build a custom double decker train car the other day, so now I needed to build a train station. Instead of a totally own design I went for set 4556 from 1999 and modified it quite a bit!
  12. Thank you! To be honest it's the French town of Angouleme that's the main inspiration. A part of it is on top of a hill, and the roads are crazy steep.
  13. Hola peeps, Due to increasing demand for train travel the Democratic People's Republic of Soltown has decided to purchase a double-decker coach from Bombardier manufactured in their factory in Halland, Sweden. Here's a short video of the build, with some running train at the end. Enjoy!
  14. You know it's on like the break of dawn. Time to work on the steep road that connects my shelf street with the small raised IKEA table!
  15. I hit every new youtuvers dream milestone and that's 1000 subscribers! To celebrate that I've made a short talk about my childhood sets and a little quick tour of the current state of Soltown. Thank you for subscribing and all that good stuff!
  16. I took it upon my self to fix the LARGE issue with set 10220, it's just to large for minifig scale! So I turned it into something else.
  17. New police station MOC! Soltown finally have a proper police station, that even has free dental care for the inmates. Wonderful!
  18. The new road plate system is a big controversy amongst AFOL's. How will those who own all the modulars afford to change out baseplates to this new system? After buying so many modulars they're broke! Any house, here's some ideas I have for what we can use the new roads for.
  19. Alright! I've worked on a subway station and added a temporary set up for LED to light the underground lever of Soltown. Of course there's a black market behind a hidden entrance that sells different by the regime banned goods. Much enjoyment to you and your dear ones.
  20. Thanks! Yea, it's going to be a crazy amount of levels! And thank you for pointing out that about where the video started! I've fixed that now. Here's a video about the foot bridge. It's inspired from a real world "Lego bridge" called Lego-brücke. It just rest on the tables for the time being so that's why it sometimes can look a bit sagging.
  21. During the winter break I took my old layout apart and put in more tables, starting Soltown 2.0. I'm going to keep my videos of the progress in this thread. My goal for 2021 is to expand on the lore of Soltown, so some of them will have unexpected storylines and twists. The first video I would like to show you centers around the Devil's gap ravine. I've made a train bridge over it, and a small landscape below. It hides a fun crook hideout with dangerous terrorists dressed as the classic "forrest men" (also know as Robin Hood-folks, when I was little).
  22. Merry Christmas, my dear adult fans of LEGO! What's more suiting than the miracle of life right now? Well, the babies from the insemination festival is finally here! And I've built an orphanage for them where they will spend the first months of their lives.
  23. KIDS! It's been a while, and I've been saying to Brick Bakery that I'm going to use his saloon design for ... well, at least since he posted his tutorial on the YouTube. So I can finally reveal my take on this iconic AFOL design
  24. That is very cool! Thank you for sharing! Here's a full tour of what I've built so far!
  25. As so many of you guys I've been working on some modifications to The Razor Crest, and I've also made a custom Blurrg to fit in the cargo area of this amazing ship.
