Any idea if this new Echo Base will be a big set?

They did it +-10 years ago. For that time it was good, so I bet they can do it again. Still, I don't have any hopes since there's a UCS out now.

For people who don't collect UCS (like me) it's fantastic news. I'd love to see a new system scale sandcrawler as well (I don't have high hopes tho')

Ok, this has nothing to do with SW Lego and/or the SW movies, but 2 weeks ago the SW boardgame ‘Imperial Assault’ was released by Fantasy Flight Games (who also have games like Descent, X-Wing, Talisman). I got my copy last week and the last time I was so excited was a long, long time ago… The game ‘breathes’ classic OT Star Wars (it is set just after ANH) and looks just great. The miniatures, boardpieces, cards….they put a lot of time and love in this game. There are already no less than 7 (!) expansions coming in early 2015 and they’re all #1 priority for me (I discovered boardgames like HeroQuest, D&D etc +-24 years ago….and waited for a Star Wars version since then). So, if you like boardgames (and SW): don't hesitate and get a copy! (and no; I am not affiliated to FFG in any way, I am just happy with the game

that must be the ship seen in the Episode 7 trailer...theres a scene in which we see stormtroopers in a ship. Only an interior shot though....Do you know when the summer wave is released? And what other sets are in thst wave?

Dude....this EXACTLY sums up my thoughts. EXACTLY. And yes; its not that the animated movies are accurate but they 'breathe' Tolkien.

Definately NOT a Carrey fan, but I remember this movie was worth watching. Now.....which movie is this? Since I think it's a hard one I've posted 3 shots of this cult indie sci-fi movie which was released 4 years ago. (I hope more and more people will watch it...I can recommend it!)

Thom is a great man (and Hawk is a childhood hero!) And yes: Space Raiders is correct....a Roger Corman production that has recycled scenes from Battle beyond the Stars.

Let me give you a hint since its not an easy one. Yes, the alien was in Buck Rogers....the actor is Thom Christopher who played Hawk. The movie this screenshot is from was released just after Buck Rogers.... Now, guess again!
