Very nice build, I like the contrast between the colors a lot here. -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Name: Jaruhm Ironjaw Race: Dwarf Age: 32 Birth Place: Mitgardia Lives: Southern Kaliphlin Occupation: Mercenary Biography: Jaruhm was born in a large underground Dwarven city in Mitgardia called Kel Toduhr. Little is known is about his childhood and his parents but he became a sell-sword to trading caravans at the age of 18. He's a skilled fighting but was never given to chance to be a warrior. The High Dwarven Council denied his service as a warrior. When he became 28 years old, he founded the Steel Meridian. They are strictly a Dwarf-only mercenary group that usually protects large trading caravans and high-priority targets from political assassinations. The Steel Meridian wear dark green colored armor with chain mail armor on the arms. The armor also features leathers straps with gold to contain these wild badasses. However, do to a failed operation, he was exiled from Kel Toduhr about 1 year ago so he moved to Southern Kaliphlin with the remnants of the Steel Meridian about 1 year ago. -
General Zachary Comstock may be old but he's been fighting in wars for almost his entire life, despite him being born into a family of Dwarven nobles. He's advanced in military ranks rather fast for showing courage and using impressive strategies on the battlefield. It was about 50 years ago when he was simply a Private in the Ulandian army, now he's a General. He wields his signature weapon, the Emerald Saint, with no mercy and cleansing the world of filthy degenerates. He's the head of the Emerald Imperialists, a Dwarf-only Ulandian legion. He prefers to fight alongside his kin rather than being a coward and hide behind them all. He may be old but he fights if he was still young.

Just before actually entering the lush area of the Nestlands, the Dwarves and the settlers there are having a small conflict. Who knows what the case may be. It could be the fact there are Dwarves trespassing or it's because of the newly built Dwarven Oil Extractor there. Either way, the settlers aren't going to give up without a fight but the Dwarves are trained for war and so they'll give these degenerates a war. The armed settlers are outnumbered in this small skirmish and seem to be less trained for a situation like this. Under the command of General Comstock, the Dwarves put up a rather impressive fight. This is a counter to MKJoshA's Monkey Business guerrilla. Shortly after a new city pledged their allegiance to Ulandus and the First Centurion, a Dwarven officer has been stationed their as a recruiter and as a defender. Surely enough, he's spotted something rather peculiar - a monkey running around with what appears to be stolen gold. His first instinct was to put down the monkey, which he has down so with a single swipe of a steel longsword. Surely enough, it was revealed that the monkey was in a scheme to steal gold from Ulandian sympathizers. The monkey's owner and trainer has not been found. He has probably crawled into a cave like the rest of the Desert King scum should be. Here's an additional picture with a closer view.

[G: L15 ; DK v. U ] - Preparing for fight

Very nice forced perspective. I'm assuming that's supposed to be a city in the distance? Those red cone pieces look weird as well. -

My apologies, now I look like a damn fool. Sorry Basiliscus. I also didn't bother to look at the "Date Joined" on profile. -
[CG:C9 DK v U] Paying the Price of Worship
Yzalirk replied to MKJoshA's topic in Guilds of Historica
Awesome counter but just like Basiliscus said, it could be DK vs. HC, not DK vs. U. You countered a High Council guerrilla, not a Ulandus guerrilla.- 19 replies

I'm not trying to come off as a jerk when I say this but I've been here longer than you have, so I have a general idea of the rules. Don't take it the wrong way, that is the last thing I'd want you to do. The main reason I asked is because I plan on having plenty of builds using said characters and it would be good to actually have a record about them instead of having to reintroduce them again in each build. I'll have my main signature figure up later. Getting a decent picture of just one minifig is so annoying. Expect him later, guys. He should be up around 12:00 PM EST with a complete back story as well. -
Alright, thanks you guys. I can assure you, Sandy, that I will not! I'll have it written down somewhere and kept in the back of my mind until then. Both of which may be lost.

Heroica RPG - Quest #128: A Study in Red Death

"I think we should follow the blood on the ground. Surely it'll lead to somewhere, like a base. That seems like our only lead so far." -
I just got an idea. Instead, when I'm able to make a second character, perhaps then I could name him Ahzrukhal? I completely forgot about being able to have a second character. Oh I'm so dumb. When would I be able to do this, though? I could have sworn it was when you get to Level 50 but I see you have two characters, Kintobor, so that can't be the case. Would I have to participate on a certain amount of quests in order to do so?
-
Well could Mhinak be the middle name then? It's not uncommon for people to be called by their middle names. I will then stick with that for my character. I just like the name Ahzrukhal better. I'm not trying to annoy you or anything, Sandy, believe me. When it comes to roleplaying, I'm always getting new ideas and scraping old ones. That's just how I am and I can't help it. This is just one thing I'll be sticking with. The last thing I want to do is annoy anyone and if I'm doing so, I apologize in advance.
-
Yes, that is true! I'm not sure the reasoning behind it other than I thought of a name that is rather more interesting. I should also note that my character for Guilds of Historica will be my actual character for Heroica. I'm not sure why but it seems more interesting like this... I mean if it's a problem, then perhaps there's another way but I'm definitely keeping the Male Dwarf Ranger but I find the name Ahzrukhal a bit more interesting. Of course, he will have a last name but that is undecided as of now.

After a quest, could I change my character's name (only once) along with the picture?

The lighting is spectacular!

The foliage looks good here and your minifigs almost seem "tribal" here!

Awesome build, Elostirion! I like the irregular baseplate you made and the expressions on the faces of the fishermen captures the moment as well. -
