Why isn't there a review index for this part of the forum?

Anyone else have problems with the front grille of the HQ falling off at the slightest touch? How did you remedy it?

Now that I think about it...why did they make the bunk beds Gryffindor... We already have a Gryffindor room in the castle. They should've done Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff.

I like this set a lot. I have quite a few light bricks, but this is my first red one. I really like the abduction feature of it. My purple stock has risen greatly thanks to this theme. I really like the ADU blue, too. I wonder why this is the only alien craft Lego decided to give a ray gun holder?

Nice job, I like what I saw of your layout. Maybe not, but does the ARF trooper live at the Fire Brigade station? It looks like he's coming out the door of it.

Definite cool set, looks really good with the castle. You might wanna recheck your instructions. I'm sure those two 2x1s aren't extras... Also, that classroom(I think) may be Lupins office? Well done review, SuperChris, for only being your second. I can't wait to get this, sadly my castle is in pieces, so I can't witness it's majesty in all it's glory.

After my summer wave bounty, I now have 726.

I like the idea of a base, but I think vehicle wise, they're pretty even. For example, 7050 Alien Defender small ADU vehicle--small alien vehicle 7067 Jet-Copter Encounter big ADU vehicle--1(or 2 small) decent sized alien vehicle 7065 Alien Mothership--7066 Earth Defense HQ Although, there's still leaves both 7051 Tripod Invader and 7052 UFO Abduction. So, the scales do tip towards the alien side more than I thought.

After getting most of these sets I'm a bit disappointed with the aliens crafts. Something minor though, just the lack of some place to put their guns. And I just got through building the copter, and the windshield is t secured very well at all. If you try to swoosh it through the air, and tip it to it's side, it comes loose. Not a very good safety feature. The jet that comes with the HQ is awesome. I like the color choices for the ADU as well. Overall, I really like this theme a lot.

Wow, that is very impressive. I'm not familiar with the actual aircraft, but a quick search would remedy that. That thing is huge, the comparison shot really gives weight to how big it really is. Job well done.

Given how the houses have advanced over the last few years, I'd love to see and get a new and improved #4 Privet Drive. Not just a cut out of the house like before. A Creator-esque house with removable top and such. And, as said before Grimmauld Place. A second Diagon Alley would be cool too, to extend the area.

That's not a bad calendar, Gregorovich, but day 8 and 23, those are already in the Hogwarts sets. Granted, not everybody got the castle, but I'm sure most people hid buy the calendar have the castle. I like your ideas for the mini models.

I'll also be sad to see these go. It will be the third strike of deaths in our HP lives(first the books, then as of July 15th the movies). So, come on Lego, don't let him die! Granted, they don't have as many set ideas as they could get from SW, but there's still quite a bit memorable, and even some good sets they could reproduce in Lego form. As seen in the 2012 HP ideas thread. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Just because there's a drawing in the book doesn't mean it's going to be a set, or were getting new sets... Here's to hoping, though!

How does that person on bricklink have all those colors? Did he custom paint them? To my knowledge, they've only made gold, silver and bronze...

I guess this sentry had wronged the king of the once kingdom and never bothered telling the poor sap that there's nothing to guard anymore.

It's not a which to buy set, rather a convince me to buy or not. So, I like the looks of the Earth Defence HQ from Alien Conquest. For some reason I just can't push myself to get it. So, I'm leaving it to you guys. I'm on the fence and can't decide which way to jump?!

I would certainly want instructions and be unassembled. That way, if it ever needed to be stored away, or someone wanted to eventually part it out to their collection, they could.
