I haven't checked eBay lately. From what I've seen, those prices are for either sealed sets, or with the box and instructions. So, piecing it together as you say, IMO, wouldn't get those prices due to no box and/or instructions.

I'm kind of the same way. I build it and leave it on the table for a while so I can enjoy it. I am most definitely a collector. But, I still enjoy a set for what it is. What I like most about LEGO today, which is sort of like playing. I like to set up my town as if it's bustling with excitement and all ki d's of interactions.

Nope. I searched eBay last night. The two that came up were Detroit and Vancouver.

I was pretty impressed by just that first picture. All that cheese! It was a simple build, yet really accurate to the movie. Then you busted out that fire and the MOC leapt up to awesome! It was a great scene(watched HBP just last night). Great job recreating an awesome moment from the movie.

I voted, I do not have anything new to add. Because, really what's the point of saying again how nice the building, landscape, certain area of the MOC is, when it's already been said by one or more other people. I don't think people should take a lack of responses as people don't like the MOC, because I'm sure in most cases, it's just not the case. I know that I want to post that I like it, just so the creator knows it, but it's frowned upon to just say, "I like it."

I have 4 of them. I'd really like a Shadow ARF, although I know it's unlikely. Also, regular clones(with CW face, not black head). For the regular clones, I'd like to go 2:1, with short blasters, not pistol blasters.

I have all of the first 2 series. But, the fire to collect all of them has faded somewhat. I still really do like the CMFs, and I just buy the ones I really like or the ones that will fit into my city, which is the main focus of my LEGO collecting.

Jousting tourneys aren't always friendly. If I remember correctly, the MMV came with a couple of crownies, which were the Castle sets at the time of MMVs release, so this next set should and very well could be the current Kingdoms knights facing off.

I was just curious what the die hard train fans think about this? (I did search, but if I missed it and this has been asked once or a thousand times before, my apologies. Do what you will with this.) Now, I, for one don't really like the fact that they come with the extras. Main reason is because it really drives up the price. Being a casual train fan(own g only 10194 & 10219. I've skipped out on buying both 3677 Red Cargo Train and 7939 Cargo Train. I still may get them, but not entirely sure. I would like it to be the way it is with the above trains I've purchased and if you want tracks and PF, then buy them separately. So, what say you, train gurus?

As did I. The lady walked to the other counter and I heard her rummaging through something and then she came back with a handful of polybags and asked, "Would you like these?" I wanted to say, "Uhh...DUH!" but, i refarined and politely said, "sure". I like this polybag better than the walker(although I may have to get it just to complete the series). If only it came with a different ADU trooper. At least he looks different enough on his other face, so I can get away with it. Plus, now I have 5 of those kick megablocks space backpacks! And, to Cloney 'O, well done and amusing(as usual) review.

Depression is the pits. I've been dealing with it for a few years myself. The only thing(family excluded) that's keeping me sane and somewhat happy is Lego and this place. I just try to concentrate my free time on building, reading posts and looking at Lego online to keep my mind of all the other sh!t.

Very cool. I definitely think the Swann hair works a lot better for Lily than the former. Clever way to mimic a mirror, so simple, yet works wonders. It's mmaaggiicc.
