What were your First and Last BIONICLE G1 Sets?

My first was Bordakh, the blue Vahki. I got Nuurakh a little bit afterwards, and after that I was hooked for life. -

I'm going to try on getting Kopaka, Tahu, and LoSS first if LoSS is any good. If early reviews indicate he's no good, I'll just pick up Gali instead.

Lego confirmed it to be January 1st. You may find it a week or so earlier at some stores, but I highly doubt it would come out a few months early in Europe.

I think that LEGO believes that these sort of boxes catch the eye better than the pouches. I'm thinking that these boxes may be larger, too, in order to take up more space. If someone can make out the box dimensions in the second leaked image from way back, please let us know.

Personally I don't really mind unused balljoints about 50% of the time. What really gets on my nerves are unused ballcups, I just don't like it. I'd take 5 open ball joints over 1 open ballcup anyday.

So, here's my list of Toa in order of favorites Toa: Kopaka (just looks awesome, a few more improvements and he's perfect) Tahu (Also really cool, but needs better weapons) Gali (disregarding the mask issue, she looks pretty cool) Pohatu (needs more pieces, boomerangs are neat though) Lewa (needs a more faithful mask, otherwise decent) Onua (can't really tell what's going on, but so far it looks meh to me, hope they make numerous changes to the final release) With a few general improvements, I think these guys can be amazing.

I find it a tad bit sad that the Stone Defender has more pieces than Pohatu. I certainly hope all these figures go through extensive amounts of change before they are released.

Yup, none of my local Walmarts carry ANY of the 2014 sets, even though they had Brain Attack sets earlier. In fact, they had a Furno XL in the clearance section which I gladly bought, but no 2014 sets anywhere. Oddly enough they were listed as "In-Stock" on the website. Huh.

I see the resemblance, but I'm certain it isn't; look at stone protector, a bit of it sticks out from the front. Definitely a new headpiece. Maybe it even has frontal connections? EDIT: I also notice that they aren't transparent. Perhaps this is also the return of plug-in eyes?

OH GOOD GOODNESS THEY HAVE A NEW HEADPIECE, I JUST NOTICED. It's most apparent on Water Protector; looks like a remoulded Mata head to me!

Huh, my bad. I didn't look carefully enough. There's a weird connection thing at the neck though, so that threw me off. Also, did anyone notice that LoSS has 149 pieces; more than Tahu, Kopaka, or Onua, even though he's only 15 dollars?

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but the protectors definitely aren't using HF torsos; looks like some custom build to me.
