Well, we are apparently getting the original Toa Mata, so for now its just going to be the same old ratio

I'm hoping for more villains in the summer wave, because IMO, a single spider as a villain is pretty pathetic, no matter how awesome it is.

Where are those wing pieces from?

Not really Bionicle related, but does anyone know whether there will be any Chima ultrabuild sets in 2015 (or any ultrabuild sets for that matter)?

But all the remaining loose ends would have to be covered if this takes place in the future, and I have a feeling that's not going to happen Also anyone find it odd that there appears to only be one villain in the winter wave. I mean, I know it could be like a pre 2008 split, but the fact that one villain is just thrown into the winter wave seems a little odd to me (a large, spider villain to top it off).

So, does everyone believe this is a full on reboot instead of a continuation?

I think that the only villain this wave is that spider thing; I assume that the rest of the villains will come in the summer wave (and perhaps 1 hero with them)

I would assume that the translation for all of them is a bit off.

TBH, when I saw the topic name I thought I was going to see something along the likes of this: Forgive me All in all, pretty good MOC; however, the purple, as much as I like it, is a tad bit jarring. If only it was a slightly darker shade...

Wasn't Gnuklear some BZP fad some time ago?

IMO, waist articulation is unnecessary. Just look at all constraction themes; I believe the number of sets with waist articulation is a single digit!

I think you guys are forgetting someone... Back on topic, I highly doubt waist articulation being in any humanoid CCBS sets come next year, regardless of theme.

I highly doubt that Lego would make an articulated hand the size of a regular one; Im almost 100% certain that Tahus hand reaching the mask, in photo 1, is just CGI and a bit of artistic liberties, like the Mata "bending" their arms and legs on the canister art.

Just a bit of curiousity, what on the second image could get her/him fired? I saw somewhere saying it was something about the numbers on it, but TBH it was so blurry I couldn't make out anything other than colors EDIT: Well, in Asia it was pretty big... at least, the bootlegs were. Even now I see more Hero Factory knockoffs at large departmant stores than legit Hero Factory sets.

Nice concept, but the toes and the completely straight arms bother me a bit... As for the legs, might i suggest 2 of the smallest bonepiece piece per leg instead of just the one? It would add proper knees, and I believe not too much more height.

Well,Lego is willing to butcher the already nonserious HF fora new Bionicle, then some elements must carry over. Sure, it will be sillier, but as long as it treats itself seriously, then I believe everyone will be satisfied.

You, sir, are awesome. I think that would be perfect for something like Bionicle; heck they are both based around elemental powers! EDIT: Why do some of you think that I want a full on gory, GoT esque Bionicle reboot? All because I don't want a mostly comedic Ninjago rehash? Good grief, just because it takes itself seriously doesn't mean it can't/doesn't have any comedy...

Aanchir, Bionicle has always been a mature line. What may work for Ninjago will NOT work for something as serious as Bionicle; unless, of cource, you believe in turning Bionicle into a comedy that does not take itself seriously (for the record, I like Ninjago for its non-serious, comedic approach; the fact that it can have some decent fighting/storyline/drama is a nice bonus). Now a Bionicle Tv show with a serious approach could possibly work, but that doesn't mean it CAN'T have any comedic moments whatsoever; it just can't MOSTLY be a comedy.

I pray Lego doesn't shoot themselves in the foot like that... Unless they plan on butchering the line just for laughs (which, to say the least, is very unlikely)

Just a curious question, about how many pieces would you say went into this MOC?
-
Normally that would've felt like a short time to wait for me, but upon finding out of Bionicle 2015 I feel as if every day is an eternity TBH I'm more excited about this than I should be
