    Actaeon glares at the Wolfgang member. This man was nothing like Diana. He was here to pick a fight, not serve justice or help others. Loud enough for onlookers to hear, Actaeon says, "You're looking for a fight. Even your friend knows it. If you're so kind and generous, why would you want to fight people who are trying to save lives?"

    Hey, I'm very happy with the things I got from my first Quest! It is sometimes frustrating at times when you see so many people at such a high level with amazing weapons. Really, to me, levels are more important to me than items, and since Flipz gave us some awesome battles and experience, I'm happy with where I am at on that as well.

    Without looking up, Actaeon responds to the Wolfgang member. "Heroica is flawed. I won't pretend it's perfect. There are so called 'heroes' that are only in it for themselves. We had one like that on our last Quest, in fact. But there are those of us that truly do want to do the best we possibly can and help everyone that we possibly can. Yet sometimes we have to make decisions that are hard. Diana can tell you about that," he says, thinking back on the previous quest. "We couldn't give the elf what she needed because we need this money to hire a crew to kill this beast. This beast is killing dozens of men and sinking ships. We can't allow that to continue because of one other person's needs. As much as it pains me, we can't help everyone. It's hard to accept, but it's the truth," he says, trying to block out his emotions. Edited because of a typo

    Actaeon rushes over to Francis and the man missing a leg. Seeing how bad of shape he's in, Actaeon looks at Francis and says, "Give him a potion, I'll try to get help." Quickly, Actaeon rushes to the man with a staff, "This man needs medical attention, where is the nearest healer?"

    Actaeon quickly squawks and squeaks to the parrot and mouse, "What happened here? Where you on board the ship when it was attacked?"

    Actaeon's suspicions grow as he listens to the two speak. "So this isn't official Town Watch business?" he asks, eyeing them both.

    Actaeon leans over to Kiray, "No one is inside. We aren't going to find any recruits here."

    Actaeon listens closely, trying to hear if there is any sound coming from the tavern.

    I haven't been following #103, so can someone explain to me how there are 16 pages so far but there have somehow been 13 battles?

    Actaeon raises an eyebrow but says nothing as he looks to the other party members.

    Actaeon thinks about their options for a minute. "I think the docks will help us find people who are more willing to help, since there will be mostly sailors there," he says, giving his input for Kiray's decision.

    "We need everyone we can get," Actaeon says before he can stop himself. Realizing that he isn't the party leader anymore, he looks at Kiray as if to say, "sorry". Man, this is going to be hard to get used to.

    "We could ask the Vice Admiral for some money to hire a larger crew, perhaps."

    Actaeon whispers back, "I agree. I'm not sure how he is expecting us to do this." Actaeon raises an eyebrow. "So you just expect us to somehow get lucky and kill this thing?" he asks, slightly indignant.

    Actaeon accepts the Quickdraw Quiver and equips it. "Thanks." "Pirates?" Actaeon says, somewhat excited. I've always heard about them. "So we'll likely have to battle our way to even have an opportunity to see this monstrosity?"

    Actaeon nods to Mizuki, "Do you have anything else suitable for Rangers?" he asks, though he suspects she has just given her only weapon suitable for him to Francis. Actaeon shakes his head, "No, not really. We were given a vague description of the beast, but aside from that, we don't know much. Do you have any specific details about the creature?" EDIT: I bought a Mead, smelling salts, and two vials of venom a bit ago.

    Actaeon enters the marketplace and quickly buys a Mead, smelling salts, and two vials of venom. 15 + 25 + 5(2) = 50. 100 - 50 = 50. He leaves to go down to the docks with 50 gold left

    Actaeon smirks as he looks at the board. Looks like it's me and Kiray again. Upon seeing that she had been chosen to be the leader, he thinks she'll do a good job. I'm glad it isn't one of the others I don't know. With that, he heads to the market.

    Actaeon looks at the announcement, disappointed. If only I had more experience, he thinks. Glancing around the hall he realizes that he's beginning to dislike the Hall. I just want to Quest again and to feel the heat of battle. He sighs and heads over to his regular seat. I suppose I'll just have to keep waiting. Three more days and I'll be off again, he thinks, hopeful.
