Nexo Knights 2016

Looking at all the sets, I can only say, I wish I had bought the castle 2013 line. I thought 'this one is a bit childish, I'll just get the next one.' Or should I say Nexo one ;) Ah well, looks like I'll be making some ultramarines :) I think the visor of the driver in 70315 will come in really handy for this (champion!) any 40k-lover out there who like this theme? And what doest everyone think? Any favorites? -

Aaaaaand I'm in :p Looking at the shoulders on the armour this would work for a Warhammer 40k space marine chapter :) Also is that a new piece on the towers of the tankcastle? (Blue, horizontal slit, some sort of panel) -

I don't know how the rest of that fig would work, but the hand looks to me like the big fist minifig-accessory from Chima and I think an Ultra Agents set. The punching-tank-thing. -

Do you mean the armour reads "BLACK FALCON"? That would be the funniest and saddest thing ever at the same time -

You are right of course. It's just such an eyesore to me. Having said that, I wish the dragons wouldn't be brickbuilt, I'd totally buy a 'real' purple dragon :D Also sorry for only coming here to whine ;) -

I really hope at least one of the dragons isn't too obviously girly. I like Nadia Spa Secret (41072) as a parts pack, i don't mind the pink and purple colors, and I might even get around to liking the minidolls, especially from the Elves theme. Tall and beautiful and all that. But a purple dolphin! Really? I would love a dolphin, but purple? It just makes me sad. I mean, have 'us boys' gotten black and red crocodiles because they would look cooler to boys? Now I know this might be OT because dragons don't exist, but yeah, I'm hoping for one dragon that doesn't look so girlish. -

Much, much less (to me). I looked at the sets he designed and i like them, but to my mind he might be one of the worst designers for a castle theme, what with all the mechs and stuff. But this won't even be a castle theme right? I got the impression this is action, like ninjago an chima. Or maybe that what the troll said? Can't say we haven't gotten trolls with this theme ;) -

Why is Nekchir apologizing? He didn't say a thing about pm'ing people right? Or maybe in a pm he did ;) but i didn't see it here. Someone mentioned pm's might work and everyone started jumping on this invisible bandwagon but I don't understand why Nekchir gets any blame -

Refresh... refresh... still no pictures... refresh... Yes! Sorry this may not be the place to ask about other themes but seeing as other have done it and no one got mad; could you please give some info on the ninjago zeppelin set ('raid zeppelin?') in that forum? I have been wanting a zeppelin piece like the one in 5956 ever since that one came out. So could you please tell us more on what that will be? I'm really excited about it :p -

Ambassador Project - Defining the Factions
Captain Sweatpants replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hello everyone I have a question about how the factions are thought to relate to each other. In the past there where pirates and soldiers for doing battle, and the merchants/civillians (not that i can think of any merchant-types in the sets i had as a kid) i think would be assumed to be protected by (and friendly to) the soldiers, and attacked by (and scared of) the pirates. At least, that's how we played with them as kids. The point is, pirates are the bad ones. But to me it seems that smuglers trade with people what those people want to have and are willing to buy, while the soldiers - by attacking the smuglers - take away much wanted goods. This would seem to make the relation of the merchants to the smugglers more symbiotical than their relation to the soldiers. (This would no really be true if the smuggles where like human trafficers or slavers or so, but they won't.) This would change the simple 'good-bad-innocent'-devide it think So this would seem to make the relation between smugglers and merchants positive (availability of trading of illegal goods to merchants), between the smugglers and the soldiers negative (soldiers attack smugglers for breaking the law), and between soldiers and the merchants negative (merchants have to beware of any soldiers snooping around when trading with the smugglers, have to hide the illicit goods, have to pay taxes :p ) At least, thats how it seems to me. Do you think that makes sense? All this could be changed by making it so that the merchants are running some kind of monopoly (it is based on a historical trading company after all :p ) and the smugglers are breaking the monopoly, making them hated by the merchant company and hunted by the soldiers. But to me this would make a 4th faction wanted, some non-merchant traders who want to buy cheap goods and don't care where they get them from (shady inn-keepers come to mind). Also, if the smugglers deal in something 'bad' like alcohol, tabacco or exotic animals (in tiny cages) is would change the game somewhat. I'm not sure if this all makes sense to you all, but this is my first post ever so spare me ;) Captain Sweatpants
