Any word on when LDD 4.? or 5.0 might be comming? Not sure where youd even check such things but some of you might have the inside scoop that others may not.

One program ive used in the past is Quad2Dat but for the life of me i dont remember where i got it. Its buggy and crashes sometimes but ive made alot of custom minifig designs that you can convert to a Ldraw file.

After seeing some of the new LoTR, Marvel & DC sets it would be great to see some of the new minifig pieces and decorations from those.

I too am weary due to the january 1st thing but if its true i hope its an improvement. Moderator please delete this post something went wrong with something every time i tried writing the 4th month of the year it would post it as January ..crazy

The Flex Tool doesnt seem to be working on any of the previously flexable parts.

Well its the 17th and no update as of yet but it is early.

Do any of you who dabble in Ldraw have this part 30105 Minifig helmet with Bat Wings if so could you send a copy my way ? Thanks

Someone I know who works at Kmart said she accidentally stocked her isle with all the new DC stuff a couple weeks before it was suppose to go on shelves.

1st Marvel and DC now LoTR how many jobs am i going to need to keep up with all this?

This is good news that they are going to keep LDD going considering the loss of DbM and Lego Universe. I will be looking forward to early January since this update will be right after my birthday.

Im pretty sure the Mummy Headdress is still there i have a file with it still intact and hasnt been removed and im sure its still on the list. I checked and part 30168 doesnt show up in LDD but there is a similiar one 90462-Nemes

There are certain pieces mostly minifig headgear that id like to see fixed. Take this example the Stormtrooper helmet, when you change the color of it the whole helmet changes color. They need to fix that and those similiar to it that will allow them to be multi-colored like a few of the others are. They need to be able to have a white outside with black eyes.

An animation feature would be nice. More minifig head and torso decorations,or custom decoration feature. More minifig headgear. Yes i love minifigs.

Has there been any news as to when the next update might be comming?

I also hope this comes to pass. Not only for the cool sets that would come out but also a Lego Avengers video game would truly rock.

Very cool since i use both Ldraw and LDD will be nice to see some more parts added to Ldraw that LDD has and Ldraw doesnt.

Seems to be some new bugs with this update as well. Part #2587 Minifig armor no longer fits with the torso. Also #2594 Castle Visor no longer fits on the #30124 Crash Helmet. Might need to make a new thread for bugs for this latest update.

Well i downloaded the update today and doesnt seem to be much of anything added in LU mode. I did notice they added an elephant head and took away a few heads of the minifig section like all the Star Wars heads Ewok,Boosk etc. and they also added some decorations for the hips and legs. There are a few more odds and ends missing as well.

Decided to put my post here instead of the Digital forum since its technically minifig customs. I used MLCAD and a couple other programs like Quad 2 Dat to make some of the face and torso decals. Scaled up the Hulk a bit so hes bigger than the others. Will probably add more when i get around to it.

There are 4 view windows you can use to see the pieces from various viewpoints at the same time. I usually have mine set up so i can see from the top front and right or left side and the 4th window for the 3-d viewpoint. Then you can select them from a different side other than the top.
