Well, my dream theme is on, already (Speed Champions), so... I guess Technic sets that aren't vehicles or heavy equipment.

It'd be nice to see these little guys made. A whole new kind of GBC might be built just for them!

Yeah, but if I can use those 1x1/11 cylinders in a smaller-scale MOC (minimum 4-wide microscale), that'd be great.

I'm guessing this wouldn't catch on after a year or two like the other tie-ins past AB:SW. Just don't buy it if you don't want it. Want to see it fall quickly with both a bang and a whimper? Use your Lego money to buy other sets in other themes (put another way: want to keep Speed Champions, Bionicle and Chima alive? Go buy the sets in those themes.). But if the new sets suddenly introduce some new parts that can add to more techniques or be some parts we may be wanting (or didn't know we want), get one. Just one. Well, uh, how do we kill something that refuses to die?

Or by some sneaky bloke from Dimension 12.

Yeah. Ferrari should be amping up the hype for the model by now, just the way MINI did for the Mk7 (Leyland) Cooper. I mean, come on, this is Ferrari we're talking about here, and it's their most legendary car that gets the LEGO treatment. I thought they're gonna make the hype real. Darn.

Someone who goes by the username GoldLeaderR5 had this to say about our winner over at the blog's comments section: "I can see how this set can be customized to the builder's own configuration, allowing the set the to both stand AND be altered." Should be neat, and with some more imagination one might even introduce some form of gate system where one barrier opens up after reaching a checkpoint, as well as expandability to make it a 4-player game with 4 balls; maybe even add pinball scoring!

Just think: A world as big as Minecraft, but with just about every LEGO part past, present and future in place of Minecraft elements (well, maybe not past LEGO parts)... It'd create a new kind of MOCing that'd really rock.
