Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
DuckBricks replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, great to see so much stuff added! A few hidden gems I didn't see many people mention - 1x1 Teal studs finally available, new for 2021: 6325978 Unique Kendo outfits from City Square: 6329616 Legs, 6331588 Helmets, 6335834 Torsos. The exclusive parts from the new LEGO House Brick Molding Machine are available, meaning you can recreate your own without having to actually go to Billund/pay scalper prices, just like the Wooden Duck! Lego House 5 Bricks Bag Print: 6339892 "Brick Moulding Machine" Printed Tile: 6339889 Lime Green door: 6337191 Lime Green frame: 6337194 Just placed a massive order! Biggest disappointment for me is the lack of Ninjago figures from 2021, both Legacy and Island - still waiting on the golden legs so Golden Wu can be completed from BnP, barely anything from the Island subtheme is available save for a few new hairpieces/headdresses (no torsos, legs, etc), and even the 2021 Legacy figures are hit or miss in terms of available, with some partial pieces available (Gold Cole's hood, for instance, but not the rest of him) and so on. Here's hoping they'll crop up at some point! -

Finally got a parts order in, but so strangely for the first time ever, there were a large quantity of pieces missing - specifically, every piece relating to Golden Wu from Ninjago City Gardens. I ordered a few of the gold beards, heads, and torsos, and inexplicably they were not there, although I never got an email saying they didn't have it or they were barred from sale. How odd... -
Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

While it’s super nice to get the Endgame final battle as a set, I’m baffled as to why they didn’t make a large, brick-built Leviathan and a Giant Man to fight him as the centerpiece to the set, instead of including yet another small section of the Compound I doubt anyone was really clamoring to get. @CM4Sci did an excellent mock set of this exact concept, and now I’m really wishing they went that route instead... -

Sadly no, hopefully that means there will be a horse restock in the near future... -
With the latest Monkie Kid TV special, we've gotten our first look at what will likely be the "big bad" villain set for either summer 2021 or Winter 2022; a mech for the White Bone Spirit. It's very stylized so it's pretty hard to make out the details, but I'm guessing it'll be a $120-$150 set to scale with the MK Warrior Mech. It also gives us our first look at the true form of the demoness herself, presuming we won't get the possessed civilian form in the summer:

Sweet! I'd love to check it out if you've built anything automated; is it open source on Github by any chance? Been trying to crack Bricks and Pieces's site functionality for a while now in my spare time to build just such a site. -
I can't possible imagine what the sets above $19.99 could be; it's so strange. It would be a really nice treat to get "themed stages" around different classic LEGO themes (so far there's been groupings of space, pirates, "spooky," animal, etc) and getting some sort of pirates or space-themed build, even if it is a stage dressed as a spaceship or pirate shipwreck, would be really great and a true treat for people who could repurpose the sets into actual retro-throwback builds... but who am I kidding, it's gonna be 100 random 2x2 printed tiles and a massive carrying case, isn't it

Wait, there's a BnP new stock service that's automated? Do you mind sharing what that is, it would be super helpful! -
Huh, the brick-built animals are a lot better than I imagined, although I wonder why they decided to change the castle style completely - I guess they're treating it like Star Wars and the Great Hall is our X-Wing that we get every few years? Most of the sets look pretty decent, with the bathroom suffering the most from this new modular style. Am curious to see what the printing will look like on the Hermione cat head - it looks horrendously oversized, but maybe they could make it work. IMO Hogsmeade is easily the best set out of all of them, although for some reason they all come across as a little more <insert that tiresome argument> than what we are used to. Still blows my mind how these images are still publicly available, live on an official retailer's website... How did this even happen?

LEGO Ninjago 2021
DuckBricks replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Pretty interesting wave, but a bit of a mixed bag for sure - the temple, water, dragon, and hydro bounty look quite good, but Jay's underwater car makes little to no sense and also seems like just a revamp/redo of his car from Possession without the big ghost vacuum that set it apart. I appreciate the attempt to make Lloyd's hydro mech look unique with an asymmetrical design, but it ended up being a tad awkward and odd-looking - that being said, these are just prelims, so many official images will change my mind. The juniors Kai's bike is pretty much nothing super special, while the USR is at a strangely small scale but still looks decent. After a joke of a 4+ Kai's dragon, this new Legacy one is amazing, and I can imagine them reusing that head for the other ninja's dragons down the line. What does feel very strange to me is the reuse of the Pyro Whipper piece - at first, I would think it's just preliminary, but the fact that it's molded in a new blend suggests that's the actual villain headmold, which is very strange to see them reuse. At least it does look like we are getting a new main villain headmold that looks suitably aquatic, though - plus seeing that Hidden Side ghost trail crop up again in what hopefully will be a new color is very nice to see. Love the concept of a glowing manta ray pulling a chariot in the Hydro Bounty, and seeing the Ursula piece pop up outside of the Disney CMF is a very welcome surprise. Can't wait to see the finalized images! -

Dang, I did see that a while back but wasn’t sure if it was before or after the no back orders policy change, nice! Will have to try that and report back haha -

Huh interesting, thanks for the heads up and I've set my calendar! In other news, Wu's Golden Beard is available for purchase! Part ID 6336258 And with that, every single exclusive part to the Golden Wu minifigure from Ninjago City Gardens can be bought off of BnP; he shares the same legs as all the other golden anniversary ninja and the golden hat is pretty common. Certainly beats paying the crazy $50+ Bricklink price! -

It's a shame if that's why we haven't seen any recently; obviously 3-4 exclusive figures is ideal but I'll take one exclusive figure over none at all, especially as the vast majority of them covered variants we were missing from prior seasons. -

Does anyone know/has anyone been told when the Black Falcon figure parts/horse will come back in stock? Unfortunately the LEGO rep I talked to today said they're no longer giving out stock estimates because they're relatively inaccurate and they don't want to disappoint people, so hoping someone may have heard of it before this apparent further policy change. 100% agreed regarding the complaints issue. Huge shame that those seem to have actually played a part in back orders getting shut down... it’s a wonder LEGO even runs this service in the first place; I’m just dreading the day they decide to shut it down due to the sheer amount of effort associated to even run it and manually pick everyone’s orders. Let’s be grateful for what we have IMO and hope one of these days LEGO will reverse this new policy on back-orders. -

Man, now I'm really regretting only backordering 5 deer literally 2 days ago, was trying to space out purchasing for maximizing a backlog of VIP rewards I have to claim but seems like it'll be nigh-impossible now that backordering is no longer a thing. Does anyone who has experimented with this in the past know if there's a way to remotely access the backend or API for Bricks and Pieces to get stock alerts? Not knowing when stuff will be back in stock is really painful. -

Exactly - I don't care about waiting indefinitely for a backorder, what's really annoying is having to check in at odd times constantly (because as far as I can tell there isn't a set time that Bricks and Pieces updates), and especially with the recent Black Falcon stuff, I was up checking at 5AM my time zone and still somehow managed to miss out just barely. Knights are selling for $25+ on BL so that's definitely not an option either, unless prices manage to go down at some point. -

Well, shoot! Was really looking forward to getting some Black Falcon figures for army building without paying Bricklink scalper fees. Guess it's back to intermittently checking stock as usual... Edit - just called a third time and confirmed, backorders are no more, it's a recent rule change but apparently, there was a high influx and it overwhelmed their support team. I was also told that they got a lot of complaints from people who were promised that parts would be back in stock at a certain time, and it turned out that they had to wait much longer than anticipated. Such a shame and I'm hoping they will reconsider their policy at some point. -

So strange - I called in to LEGO service and was told by two separate customer service agents that they are no longer allowed to place back orders on Bricks and Pieces because it “messes with their inventory,” just a few days after I placed a back order myself. Has anyone else done so recently? Going to try a third time with a different customer service agent today, but being told by two that corporate forbid them from placing back orders is not a good sign... -
Wow, that landscape set came out of nowhere and it’s one of the best original LEGO theme playsets in a while. A little scared to see what the price will be given this theme’s track record, but I’ll be getting it regardless. Looking forward to the rest of the sets as well with varying degrees of excitement - the Arachnoid Base is the perfect evolution of the Hive Crawler/Takua and Pewku/Arachnoid Star Base concept, and the jets actually try to do something unique and aren’t just Ninjago-like vehicles, which I appreciate. Weakest one is probably the Inferno Jet (although even that one is a super unique shape) and the Lion Guard feels like a more cluttered Ultrakatty from the LEGO Movie 2. Otherwise, these all look fantastic as per usual with the theme, and even the motorcycle set is a step up from the White Dragon Horse Bike. Solid improvement over last year’s summer wave and on par, if not better than the first wave!

The silver Praetorian shoulder armor also appeared in Ninjago City Gardens, maybe check there/call in to order the piece in reference to that set? -

Surprisingly enough it was on sale right when the CMF came out, must have slipped through the cracks!
