  1. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmm. Well, I have no idea. All I can think right now is that the pile of bricks Jack stacked relate to the tiles on the ground. Though there are no grey tiles. Perhaps those bricks refer to the grey columns? Oh, I don't know. Perhaps the paper can help us.
  2. Yes, another fantastic build here guys! Cool idea with the splashing of the water on the rocks, nicely done! The shack and statue are both very neat. The 2x2 inverted dome pieces look great on the road and the gravestones are another great touch. I could go on pointing out how cool all the details are, but I'll just finish by saying this is a wonderful MOC and I look forward to seeing more! ~Peace
  3. Well, it's all going great so far! I seem to always have some sort of jumble with my replies, I'll take too long posting them and I'll say something already mentioned, or I'll get mixed up and make a fool of myself. One day I'll get the hang of this, one day! After all, practice makes perfect, and I hope to do this a lot more. As for the pace, I - like the others - enjoy the slower pace. Gives time to think things through and sort things out. Thanks for being a great host Hinck! ~Peace
  4. Hahahaha. A wonderful story you've told here, AwesomeStar! Very enjoyable, and a wonderful build as well! I adore that goat design, very neat! Kudos sir, you've done very well! May I ask what head you used for the bridge troll? ~Peace
  5. <low whistle> Wow. This is an impressive MOC indeed. Very smart, very tidy, yet still packed with details and action. I love the pool table and arcade machine - very cool. And the mechanism for the car to launch out the side of the building is another great touch, as is the fold out defence systems. All your personalised Agents are another great touch. Keep on MOCing mate, you're certainly good at it! ~Peace
  6. Thanks Optimus! Yes, I was very proud of the Sharpshooter minifig - he was my favourite of the lot. I used Dragonator's pieces, but I've ordered some BrickArms of my own so expect to see him in future MOCs. ~Peace
  7. Hm, interesting so far. Although I think you mean 'remorse', not 'morse'. Nice photos, fits in well with the story, a tad dark but it works. If I may suggest one thing though, it is to make sure no stray hairs or the like get in the shot, as they tend to be distracting. I know I've had that problem before. ~Peace
  8. Chris, may I take a look at that stone you have? You say it's gotten denser, now that does seem odd. I'm sure it's just a trick of the mind. I got so caught up in looking for clues that I forgot to take in all this wonderful architecture! It's all very lovely - except, of course, for the large snake-like statue in the room. Strange that it's white, is it ivory? It couldn't be a skeleton... I don't suppose I could take a peek in it's mouth, could I?
  9. You'll see there are brown, dark tan, and dark grey tiles on the ground. I noticed all the dark grey tiles are depressed slightly into the ground. I would like to examine one of these dark grey tiles, say the one to the north west corner of the closest left column. The one the statue seems to be pointing at.
  10. Wow, at first I though the decal was instead printed on. It's very well done! I love the front grill on the Jeep, and of course the Jeep as a whole is very cool. The colours look great too. ~Peace
  11. Back Stabbin' Betty by Cage the Elephant. Quaint little story with a happy ending in that song. And of course the band ain't half bad either. ~Peace
  12. Shuuun! Shun the non-purist! Yes, I was browsing through Lego sets with Dragonator but two days ago, and I saw a Meg@bl*cks Halo Scorpion Tank. (Dragonator was quick to pick it up and move it to another shelf, far, far from the Lego. And the Meg@blo*cks, at that. Actually, I don't think it was even in the toy section...) As for the tank, well, I've seen Lego MOCs that looked better than the Meg@blo*cks version. ~Peace
  13. Well, I think I've calmed down a lot since I first joined. I'm reluctant to say 'dark ages', so I guess it was more of a 'dim period of time' where I only posted occasionally, often not venturing past the home page. But I've gotten back into the swing of it now, and, though I'm not as post-crazy as I was when I first joined, I still pop in quite a lot. I'd say I'm addicted. ~Peace
  14. Okay, so it was a couple of days ago now, but I so rarely get to post in here that I'll do it now anyway. I got... 2 brick separators! Ah, such handy pieces, no more horrible bite marks in my bricks! And it should provide motivation for more MOCing, knowing I can easily and conveniantly disassemble them if ever I need to. Oh yes, and I'm not sure if I should post this here, as it's not technically Lego, but rather custom made Lego compatible components, but again, I'll post it anyway. I ordered my first batch of Brickarms, which set me back 60 NZD. Call me crazy, but I think it's worth it! Can't wait for them to arrive. ~Peace
  15. Oh bother. I had an assortment of photos stored in my camera for my review of this set, but procrastination got the better of me and you beat me to the punch! And very well at that! Very nice review, excellent photo-shopping too. Nicely done, sir! ~Peace
  16. Actually, that's part of Green Grocer. But yes, it is looking nice so far. I agree with Legostein in that it's neat that there are no non-lego parts in the shot, like backdrops or anything. Nicely done. ~Peace
  17. Wowee, that is impressive! Absolutely packed with details, and the removable features are always a plus. Impressive collection of crew too, very nice! My favourite detail has to be the captain's chair. Now that is cool. ~Peace
  18. Who or what is a Modulex? I for one opt for an awesome Castle build, as I am quite a Castle fan myself. Failing that, post Apocalyptic wastelands are another favourite of mine. The browns, oranges and greens you have could work well with that, as well as the greys for ruined buildings. Just a suggestion. ~Peace
  19. Wow! This is just fantastic! The brickwork, the foliage, the fence, the path, it all looks very nice! Wonderful MOC sir, I look forward to seeing more of your talent! ~Peace
  20. ...And I just finished a Dexter marathon but a few weeks ago. This is a very cool MOC, though perhaps the icepick is a little out of place. I don't recall that from the show. Ice trucks but not ice picks. It is however an awesome MOC, the plastic wrap works wonders to imitate a Dexter kill scene. Kudos, lego-maniac! ~Peace
  21. I had an idea like this a while back, but I couldn't bear to cut off my dragons' wings! You've integrated them neatly, and the cockpit where the master sits looks very nice! Good job. ~Peace
  22. Yes, I noticed one in a Prince of Persia set and was absolutely stoked. Although they may not be in the on-the-shelves product, I sure hope they do. I looked back at a final picture of Indiana Jones' Temple Escape set and noticed the ball and socket skellies were displayed, but the droid armed ones were actually used in the set. The way I see it, if the skeleton need to be posed holding something, or needs to stay still as decoration or whatever then the droid arm skellies will be used, but for your average dead Joe the ball and socket skellies will be used. Or so it should figure. Unless of course TLG is taunting us with their supply of ball and socket skellies, knowing we'll never get any new ones in future sets. ~Peace Oops, I misread that. They aren't definitively in the new sets (as in, unreleased sets, like the ones Jar Jar was discussing), but they are featured in preliminary images. Like the Temple Escape set, they may be changed to droid armed skeletons in the final releases.
  23. A very nice review you've done mikey! This does look to be a fairly nice set. I see their reason for the trailer, as they couldn't really use the 2x2 slope pieces like they did in the classic tanker set. These large pieces make a fair compromise, but they could have done something with the ends, surely. Maybe stick a couple of these pieces over them? Anyway, it isn't a bad set, and it's certainly a nice review, thanks! ~Peace
  24. Ah, looking at these pictures again makes me swoon. Really though, I truly can't wait to get my hands on these sets. They look amazing! So very cool... ~Peace
  25. A neat MOC you've got here, Black Rabbit! The mix of colours work well with the ramshackle look of the place to nicely convey setting of a slum, and all the different thieve mini-figures are very cool. I think the 5 hours of work and pic-hunting was well worth it! ~Peace
