  1. Well, just look at it. It has two prisons, one on each side(attached to the board), two towers, one on each side(attached to the board), and thirty two minifigs. Two trolls, too. Two dragon heads. An inch high(possibly taller) board. Weapons siding the board. It's well worth the cash. *sweet*
  2. Speed Racer: Grand Prix. I'd love to do a review(and be the first) but I don't have a reliable camera at my disposal as of now. But what I will say is this: The cars don't have the new hubcaps or the new windshields. :'-(
  3. Ouch, man! Mine are still intact since last Christmas! Of course my blue SBDs are busted in the legs. :'-(
  4. Exactly! And notice all those weapons lining the board; goblin scimitars, skelly ball and chains, crowny swords, dwarfy( :-P ) axes, and shields all around! This is a really kickass set and the prices will definitely fly sky high on EBay! 8-
  5. Ahh! Well, I think the nose-piece was removed because it obstructed vision. The jewel, I don't see why you're complaining! It looks cool, and it doesen't look like it's attached via a large stub. :-P I think the dragon helmet looks fine; the chin guards would obstruct Keiken's face. *sweet*
  6. I don't see it modified. Do you mean the jewel in the crown? All I see is the silver helmet from King Leo's time and the crown from... Everywhere. :-/ Bingo! Tks, SO! *sweet*
  7. Oh. Mah. G... G... *passes out* *comes to* Doc: Yup, this one's breathin'! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????????????? :'-( *regains composure* Oh well, time to start saving! Hooray for optimism! :-P Also, the Eiffel Tower is a hundred bucks less and has three thousand four hundred pieces. :'-( Plus, it's a 'Giant Chess Set'! This is definitely a definite buy for me... Provided I get the cash. :-P
  8. I suppose you could've used this one, but you'd have to paint it brown: Just curious: Why do you raise up the headgear and hair and sometimes reverse it? I guess the raised and reversed 'aviator cap' () is meant to be a helmet, but why raise this hair? Again, great work! It all looks so real... *sweet*
  9. Everyone's forgotten the Naboo Fighter pilot... :'-( Of course, Bricklink is the best way to go for all torso needs... *sweet*
  10. These look great! I especially like the way Absalom's hair was done! One question, though: Why do some of the soldiers have 1x2 bricks on top of two 1x1 pegs for legs? :-/ Also, neat way of using Sensei Keiken's head for Joab! Two thumbs up! *y* *y*
  11. Nice use of Kanohi Kakama in green there! *sweet* One suggestion, though: Try putting a 1x1 cone on the end of the arrow to make it more bowish. >:-)
  12. What I've Done, by Linkin Park. That band has been growing on me for some time now; it started with Somewhere I belong... *wub*
  13. Curses! You beat me to it. :'-( Anyhow, I saw it 29 times as well. I'm probably gonna get the truck and the Grand Prix. Racer X was a letdown; I expected a kickass awesome unique head and all I get is Bruce Wayne rubbed in my face again. *sing* (that is me screaming) Anyways, these sets look cooler and cooler! More reviews! I must see more! *y*
  14. It, to be brutally honest, looks nothing like an airborne trooper, I'm sorry to say. :'-( You need to add more ridges. Maybe show us the finished product, SillyQuack... Oops, did I say that out loud? Iamded, here's a pic of an Airborne trooper from Parjai squad, a part of the Second Airborne Battalion: *sweet*
  15. Wow, mate! That's a nice pair you got there! Nice use of the reversed Mask of Shadows on Makuta and of the spangled mask of Light! *y* I'd definitely buy these...
  16. Not quite. The Toa Hordika are just the Toa Metru all over again. The Toa Mahri are just the Inika all over again. ;-) Also, I notice with some surprise(since I don't follow the 'new bionicle threads') that Takanuva is getting an overhaul. Now he's the Toa of Twilight? Sheez... Way to screw him, TLC. :-| I also just noticed these gigantic promos. Eighty bucks? Just... Just wrong. *sad* This is the direction I expected from this year's sets. Well, I like bringing out old characters as long as they aren't THAT different. These are just unrecognizable... And they have little matoran to hang on to them... And now there's three Makutas? I'm confused... *wacko* No way; they were an exception. If you don't like em', that's your problem. I love them. I was just saying that since we're suddenly seeing all these unrecognized villians who are apparently a part of the Brotherhood of Makuta. I was simply ranting. ;-) What I said might've encouraged someone to say 'He's still interested! I'll try and convince him to get back into it!' to me. No, I stopped in 2004 with the Hordika. That was when I realized what TLC was doing with it. I collected the Kanoka discs; they were different and had diversity. The Rhotuka spinners have nothing special about them; just spinners which spin. I think the main differences between us are that you stopped in 2003 with the Rahkshii and I stopped in 2004 with the Hordika. *sweet*
  17. Yup, I saw this when I built the set two days ago. It's Satipo's and Belloq's torsos, for some reason. Plus, if you look for the instructions on Lego.com it shows them... *wacko* Time to call up the Replacement Parts line... >:-)
  18. Listen: I'm not going to quote anyone since I kinda lost the jist of this thread entirely, but I just want to reply to several things I've seen said here. First off, the whole point of Bionicle is to have six guys who protect the humble and innocent civilians. They do so. In Metru-Nui, the Matoran have disc launchers which they use in different ways. Sometimes it's for work, sometimes it's for fighting, but they aren't that successful. They can't even stop the Morbuzhak! But they are 100 % collectible. X-D Now, look at the Toa Hordika. They have spinners. Spinners. Phooo, they come in six different colors. So you can only get six spinners. But the titans have bonus spinners! So I should get them... For their spinners? No. I won't get a figure for a single solitary spinner. Unless the figure appeals to me or offers a wide range of accessories(for example, five masks, or three Kraata), I WILL NOT PURCHASE IT. Don't get me wrong, I've lost all interest in Bionicle. I read the comics and see what's going on. Nowadays from the prelim pics I've seen all I see are the same characters with new bodies. I also see characters on little speeder things like Takanuva's speeder. I already have the Toa Nuva, and I already have Makuta. I don't need Makuta's wife, son(s), daughter(s), nephew(s), niece(s), etc. :-| The point of collecting six inch figures is so that you have a unique collection. Now, there are people who collect simply so they can say 'I have the turbo powered mondo-electro Zapper version of (insert character name)!' I don't do that; I collect for what I want, not so I can have everything even if it's the same stuff I already have! So people say: Why didn't you get the Barraki or the Piraka? I already said: I buy what I WANT, I don't buy on IMPULSE. So that's why I stopped buying Bionicle in all it's glory. And yes, it started in 2004 with the Visorak and the Toa Hordika. All I want to see, frankly, is this line end. Then I might get a few figs here and there just to remember it by.
  19. Sweet! I love the fa-bangs, and the Garand is great! Two thumbs up! *sweet*
  20. I'll be building it eventually this year, and I can expect the same problems I know I had with the very very first Millenium Falcon. But a hard surface like some good old hardwood flooring should solve it! *sweet*
  21. Yes, it is, or doubtless you wouldn't have recognized this topic. ;-) It'd be neat to see a new Pirate line, but... Hey, leave this discussion for the Pirates or Romans thread in the Embassy! *pirate*
  22. Thanks for being such a good-natured staff member! I always enjoy reading your posts on how vastly superior Space is to SW! :-D I'm very glad to see you're not leaving entirely, so enjoy your life as a Fellow! *y*
  23. I found the account, but... No pics. :-/ Having camera trouble? :-P
  24. Awesome! You do the comics so well! I especially like that red tank in the red house! But why was the guy, Pineapple, in the house with the tank? Couldn't he have gnawed his way out of the rope and maybe got into the tank? Oh well, it's still entertaining! Will there be a Comic #4? 8-|
  25. It saves time and clicking. You can instantly send a PM with one and a half clicks(I don't consider the click to bring down the menu a full click; it drops down immediately), whereas originally you had to click to the profile(takes some time) and THEN click PM. I think this new system is quite fine. I've already done my getting used to... *sweet* EDIT: Also, I noticed that the post button now allows for multiple times to click on it. I suppose that will make it a lot easier for people to double, triple, quadruple, and quintuple post? 8-| EDIT 2: ImperialScouts is absolutely right! Quick edits with smileys ON! *y*
