  1. I noticed that, but the second gun is not another Thompson( ;-) ), it's one of the Star Wars 'big blasters'. Good points, Asuka! I definitely agree with your last sentence! :-D EDIT: Strike that; just looked at it and it looks nothing like it. So it's either a new Uzi or the old mold.
  2. At first you had me confused, but then I LOL! :-D But unfortunately there's a small chance of that, considering we got the Thompson in black, and what was that other thing? Oh yeah, this isn't Batman. *sweet* I still like your theory!
  3. Before I watch the trailer, if you go to Rebelscum.com and browse the forums, you can find pics of Hasbro's new figures. Included is an 'Evolutions' set which includes the Apprentice as a Sith Lord, the Apprentice as you see him in the Rogue Shadow(beaten up with attachable force lightning), and the Apprentice as a Jedi Knight. So maybe this is a directional game like KotOR! You know, choose your own path, etc. etc. *goes off and watches the trailer*
  4. Six words: COMISSIONER GORDON AS A BOSS ON! :'-) Oh, and Comissioner Gordon as a minifig ON!
  5. Where on earth will you get them at that price at that time? X-O I knew it was two... X-D
  6. Amazing pics, XWY! I'm seriously impressed(but kinda annoyed at the gold Uzi) with this line! Here's my breakdown of what I saw in *yoda* 's pics: I think that Uzi is a new mold! The barrel looks longer and the body seems different... Maybe it's just the color. :-/ The second guy in the first pic seems to have that brick attached to one Star Wars long blaster and one Thompson SMG. Two new heads in the first pic. Two new heads in the second pic, also a new arm. I think the Agent has Mutt's hair. Two new heads in the third pic(the Agent is the same head from the first pic :-| ), a new 'helmet', and barbed wire! *wub* Plus a new map. In the fourth pic, one, maybe two, possibly three new heads. The henchman has the same head as is in the third pic, and the same 'helmet'. The far right Agent seems to have the City 'determined' face, as well as Mutt's hair. The middle Agent, I don't know. It could be a ponytail, and we all know what that means! 8-
  7. Thanks for the link, Hobbes! See? Now is TLC's chance to make an Ancient Civilizations line which will appeal strongly to AFOLs... But anyway, one fifth? That's a lot more than I thought! 8-
  8. Agreed! *y* Just three would be enough to man a Saber tank, I think. Or does it only take two? I'm trying to remember my memories of playing Battlefront 2... :-P One in the turret, one in the tank. Maybe it'll hold two inside the tank? 8-| IMO, the preliminary TX-130 is far too small for such a powerful, popular, and long-awaited vehicle! :'-(
  9. Crap, you may be right, mate! 8-
  10. Lol! :-D Maybe the Dwarf King! Touche! :-P Yes, it has to be. Allow me to elaborate: The first two dragons in the Castle and the Wizard's Tower had NO armor. Obviously the good dragon is the same mold as the first two, so... Duh. ;-)
  11. It seems to be 'Unreal Tournament 3'! That's the most amazing map of Lego I've ever seen! *wub* I wish something like that was in Rainbow Six... :'-(
  12. Please elaborate... :-/ In the bottom left area, however, I see the 2x1 one stud on top brick used for a skellie, but other than that, I'm lost! Or are you very, very careful? :-P
  13. GAHHHH!!!! HOW COULD YOU??? I believed you... :'-( Anyway, that's a flippin' sweet custom! Looks(dare I say it) almost as good as the Saber tank that guy made, and then lined up all his colored Phase 1 clones in front of that. If anyone remembers...
  14. Amazingly done, mate! How on earth did you get the skellies and the crownies to stand up without falling down on those SNOT bricks on the bridge? I MUST KNOW! 8-
  15. Tee hee... :-D Oh, by the way, my brother informed me that the Clone Commando Pod website I have linked to in my sig has the link to the wrong forum in it. So, uh... 8-|
  16. Think about it. Where's the dwarf gonna go? In the siege tower? You don't store prisoners in towers. ;-) I wouldn't mind another Giant troll, but TLC didn't want to go crazy...
  17. ARGHHHH! >:-( :-P Anyway, since the Saber tank and the HMP are confirmed, shall we speculate as per what figures will be included? I hope TLC doesen't give it another Obi-wan or Anakin. I personally want to see either Shaak Ti or Ki-adi-mundi, in addition to possibly a Sergeant or a Captain. We might see Yoda or Master Windu; if it's either of them, they should probably have a Commander. If TLC gives us Anakin or Ashoka, it would make sense to be a Lieutenant. The HMP gunship will probably have several droids, but could TLC exceed all expectations and give us some B-2s with it? :'-)
  18. NOOOOOOO! Don't let TLC read this! IT MUST BE A TIE DEFENDER! But if it has a cool accessory vehicle, I might go for it...
  19. Well, I won't argue with you, but I'll just say I found your explanation of why you don't like it incredibly dissatisfying(I do, however, agree with your point regarding the Alliance Bobsled Team X-D ). For pete's sake, can we leave this 'it wasn't in the movies' argument alone? It's not an argument; did you complain when you never saw the droid carrier in the droid battle pack in the movies? The same for the turret and the speeder bike in the clone battle pack? There are HUNDREDS of battles that happened across the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War, and this COULD have been used in one of them. And th... Oh wait, I said I wouldn't argue with you, didn't I? Nvm. Just try and elaborate on your points, please! :-)
  20. Hey, don't go about giving him any bad ideas... :-P
  21. OK, I totally agree with IS in his first post. Now let me get this straight: You rate the price 6 of 10 in this set, but in the Imperial dropship, you rate it 8 of 10. In this set, you get four brand new figs and a swooshable speeder for 9.99. In the dropship, you get three old stormtroopers with slightly new helmets and a shadow trooper, in addition to a not-so-great, in your opinion, dropship. IMO, there are plenty of nice pieces in this set, especially the streamlined ones in the front of the speeder, on top of a windshield! Not to mention a sweet little turret on the back. Now a 2 of 10 for the design is just wrong. Just wrong. Yeah yeah, perfectionist perfectionist... But at least it holds four minifigures in a realistic way! The Imperial Landing Craft couldn't even hold those four stormtroopers comfortably which is why my brother modded it to hold at least seven seated and one standing. That meant removing the guns(duh). Now the ILC deserved at least a 3 of 10 for design. I mean, at least it held the two guns and had a neat mechanism for opening and closing the wings(several new parts). But back to the speeder: It's not swooshable on a carpet or on slates, but on hardwood flooring, just grab the turret tower and swoosh away! Plus, if you're into picking it up and swooshing it through the air, you can hold it by the turret as well! ;-) I'd rate this set as IS did; a 42/50. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading your reviews! Harsh reviews ON! :-P
  22. The more I read your posts, the more I LOL! :-D I'm not THAT much of a fan of the design, but it deserves even a 37.5/50 as IS said.
  23. That's a nice ship and a nice design(in the trailer), but it's by no means a 130 dollar set. ;-) Also, by the ship he flies around in with his clones, remember, this series is in the early clone wars between one and two, so we don't have Phase 2 clones, so that means the 501st are just white Phase 1 clones. If that IS the ship he flies with his clones, it's probably a Republic Cruiser, as was seen in the first Animated Series, but we already have one of those; let's have something new like a Providence, eh? ;-) EDIT: Man, what I'd do for an alternate model for an LAAT/v!
  24. Well, I don't think Orcs are that sturdy, seeing that they'd have to jump from the second level of the tower, I don't see survival as his chief objective! :-P Awesome review! I'm loving these sets more and more! The Tower Raid is DEFINITELY the best and the cheapest set there! >:-) Oh, and Pirhana, it's not really a 'king', it's more like an officer. Remember, the Wizard rules these goblins!
  25. I think I understand our user, Chuck(lego2K), so I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to say I understand your perfectionist aspect. ;-) Whether or not you're trying to get your post count up, (I don't deal in such dark matters; I leave it to the mods) I have one question: You gave the pieces and the design both a 2 out of 10. Could you elaborate as to what you don't like about said aspects of the set? I just want to hear it from a perfectionist's mouth... ;-)
