  1. Wow, this is one nice set! I was a fan of the SW articulated statues like Vader and the Stormtrooper, but this one is an instant buy... Can't wait to see more as I look at the instructions... *cry_happy*
  2. Thanks for all the new pics, Holodoc and DNL! Well, there isn't much more to be said. I'm getting all the Castle sets and the Chess set, and my wallet will flounder around helplessly on the floor after I'm all done with them. *tongue*
  3. The Australian Toyfair just happened but no one was allowed to take pictures of 'unrealeased sets', but they did take out the award winning Republic Gunship for a couple of pics. :'-(
  4. Well, to start the list( ;-) ), MB is made out of BS plastic that easily bends out of proportion and breaks, whereas Little Armory... Doesen't sell swords. :-/ Oh wait, it DID, right? I wouldn't know... :-P Also, MB is illegal to use in MOCs on this forum. If it is, you will be hunted down for the rest of your life and eventually killed by an EB Administrator disguised as a Nazgul.
  5. For all who missed the big announcement, it is: That the first mission of the game will have you playing as *vader* HIMSELF! >:-) You will go to Kashyyyk and find your Apprentice! You will also be able to Force-choke Wookiees! :-D P.S. Spike will be airing the Original Trilogy next Friday into Sunday, probably in the same order as this weekend's movies. *y* AND I WILL BE WATCHING TO SEE THE REST OF THE AWESOME EXCLUSIVE TIDBITS! *skull*
  6. Hello there, Fluyt! *sweet* Slyowl, I think it's pronounced Floyt, as in Floyd. *pirate* Enjoy your stay!
  7. The top ones are the eyebrows while the bottom ones are the eyelashes. *sweet*
  8. The dwarf begins playing taps on the trumpet, to the chagrin of the Troll. Troll: RAAAWWWRRR! SHUT UP! The Troll, in search of an object to throw, picks up bike and throws it, but then remembers he was going to work out in the gym to form his woefully under-developed muscles. The bike lands inches from the fearless dwarf who continues to play taps. Troll: RAWWR!!! *runs to gym* Dwarf: *stops playing taps* It's about time he ran off. Now I can ride my bike in peace. *hops on bike and rides away* OK, this was a little bit of a story, but... Does it still count? If it doesen't I'll submit another. *sweet*
  9. Whatever the Twilight is(and I still think it's a Providence Cruiser retrofitted with a superweapon as seen in the trailer) I can't wait to see what part it plays in the movie! Remember: TLC makes two different things in the SW movies: The really cool things, the really important things, and the things that you see and recognize most. For example: V-19 Torrent: Clearly it will be seen a lot in the movie. AT-TE and Republic Gunship: They're quite recognizable for anyone who's seen Epi. 2 or 3(but mostly 2). Importance: Death Star II(going back in time): It's obviously an important space station in the original trilogy. So I think the Twilight will be something important, for instance, a superweapon like the Death Star or, in this case, the Providence with Greivous' superweapon.
  10. Not Nazis... :-D Russkys... ;-) (a.k.a. Russians; couldn't you tell from the green uniforms, Irina, and the officer?)
  11. He means the lekku. Yes, hair is easier to say, but it doesen't look at all like hair. ;-) (to me)
  12. Spike's been airing the PT over the past weekend including Friday; I can't wait to see this, since I'll be watching Epi. 2 into Epi. 3! (I watched Epi. 1 into Epi. 2 last night) *sweet*
  13. You mean make the lekku removable? Bib Fortuna's are removable. *sweet* FYI, Twi'leks don't have hair. ;-)
  14. Holodoc, if you have a sec, can you scan a close-up of the corners? *sweet*
  15. I could never... *sing* And her voice was just so... classic! :-D Come on, TLC, you gave us a sticker! Now bring on the figs! *y*
  16. Yeah; now I'll have nothing to fall back on when I see a noob make an incredibly hilarious post. :'-( Hey wait, it's back! :-D
  17. Has anyone in the US gotten the catalogue yet? I'm dying to see the Chess set up close and personal. It's kinda hard to do that to a computer screen. X-D Also, it seems the smiley list is quite shorter... :-/
  18. By that you mean not the kid's models? His stolen models? Yes, I wrote several. *skull* I wanted to write something like this: DIE, LOSER! DIE! But the reality of the fact that Dilbert is just a comic strip and Carol is just an overworked woman in a cubicle came down upon me at the last second. X-D
  19. If the topic's boring to you, then(quite frankly) that's your problem. We've had pauses in the news like this before, but it's comments like this that, as Natman said, are declared spam. >:-( Well, female Twi'leks are naturally hot, so it's not just limited to Aayla. X-D Yes, I'm pretty sure you get both in the box, seeing as one Toyfair had one and the other had the other. ;-)
  20. Oh, you know. Lazy kids with no life(and probably no Legos, either :-| ). What can I say that EB hasn't nailed already...
  21. Interesting! I'm impressed; I like the model. It looks very... Er, how to say... Stumpy. :-D I'm sure TLC will make it as long as it makes a big cut in the series. ;-)
  22. Now now, it's not LOTR style; it's fantasy. If you didn't know what LOTR was but you were more attuned to WOW(not that I am) you'd say they are WOW type sets. ;-) These types of sets are sets of a kind. Different people see them differently. I, for one, like both Classic Castle and the new Castle. And I can honestly say I'm not that much of a fan of the new dragon. I personally prefer the Vikings dragons; much more articulation given from a ball joint that isn't limited by a swivel joint. ;-) By the old one, do you mean the five piece dragon from the Fright Knights? 8-| That dragon's no more Legoish then, quite frankly, the new trolls. I don't think you can argue with that. ;-) My definition of Legoish is how many bricks it takes to build. The new troll isn't very Legoish for me, nor is the new dragon(also takes very few bricks to build), but the Vikings dragons offer a challenging building experience. :-)
  23. Castle all the way. First off, which line has been going on for more than twenty years(my math may be more or less)? Castle. (note: This doesen't mean I'm a KK fan; all Castle was cool to me, especially the Fright Knights, which I remember before anything) I can ask a lot more questions, but I can also read the entire topic. In the interest of this forum I will do neither and vote Castle. I still love Pirates, and I'm mad I missed the firing cannons. >:-(
  24. Another one of these threads? Not to be pessimistic, but I can't see this thread staying open much longer. It's already been explained in the thread for the new template and such that it's just a crawler. It crawls around EB looking for a place to plant its ads; fortunately, EB is protected and its crawlings are in vain. *sweet*
  25. As usual, I will declare my belief that the need to save the environment from Al Gore's scam to make you pay money for useless 'carbon credits' is total balderdash. Absolute poppycock. Complete hogwash. OK, enough anti-global warming ranting and chiefly British 'cursing'. :-P If TLC wants to help 'save the environment', it won't affect my purchases of their sets as long as they don't start making the boxes green. :-| So count me outta this topic; I've had my share of the global warming schpieel. *n* Oh, btw, maig the liar is completely right in his naming of Gore. :-D
