It's the preliminary model; the same one seen in the preliminary pics of Cruncher's truck in which he is shown to be wearing his white driver suit, when he's supposed to have a torn blue shirt. I don't mind, let alone care. This one is nice enough...

Nice review! Although you need to use the Macro setting(a.k.a. the Flower setting) for better pics. Are you using a digital camera? You really need Macro... The idea is, turn it on and hold down on the 'take picture' button halfway until the pic focuses. Then press it down all the way to take the pic. I'm glad this one also comes with the new Uzi; I wanted an extra...

Don't worry; I was just being negatively optimistic. Also, the top 'flappy ears' thing which connects to the falling swords works quite well; you just have to do it fast enough and have enough room around it so the 'ear housing' doesen't jam.

Which three are there? There is a rumor by way of Wout that the Jungle Duel was cancelled... If that's true, good thing I got it when I did... I guess it detracted from the biggest set; two of the main characters in it were in the Duel.

I was going to review this on Monday but my camera ran out of batteries! Anyways, great review! As I have the set built, it's a really fantastic set. The waterfall is a reall cool sticker, and the flick fire missiles are quite interesting. Another point of interest: There are seven of the new flick fire missiles overall, if anyone cares.

Well, they showed us Harvey Dent so we know what at least half of Two-face's face looks like. The Joker just looks... 'Good evenin' ladies and gintlemen!' Different. Either I like him or I don't... I'm confused. (note: The misspelling 2 lines above was intentional)

Alex, can you confirm that the Uzi in this set and the one in the River Chase is new with the larger barrel and different body I specified in the Indy 2008 sets thread? I'm wondering if this was just a fluke...

Alex, not to push you(you've done so much for us ) but would you agree that the Colonel's Uzi is a tad bit different than the Batman Uzis? I found this for myself...

Ahh, more pics! Great finds! The landspeeder is the first time we've seen anything that has to do with the original speeder, the Slave 1 has, as erdbeereis1 stated, a long end and strange colors(black+tan+grey= ), and Anakin's JSF looks... Halfway decent! Since these are keychains(they are glued, no?), I might get the Slave 1, remove it from the chain, remove the chain hook, build me and glue me up a REAL Slave 1, then attach the chain and attach it. I'd be embarassed to be found walking around with something like that; the lack of green is just... Wrong.

I don't mean to bump this, but I just noticed that the Uzi included in the Jungle Cutter and the River Chase is a new mold. The barrel is twice as long and the whole thing is made of hard plastic, unlike the original Uzis, thereby allowing it to nicely snap into a minifig's hand. I'm sure big Batman fans like Batbrick and Brainbox know how the originals' handles get scraped by the minifig's hand; no more! And the gold Uzi in the Agents set will surely be this type as well... I wonder if the Thompsons in the Agents line will be new as well...

Not that I know anything at all about him, but the fig looks... bland. The hair doesen't match the picture you provided and one can't see enough of the face to say the sharpie job looks good. And he shouldn't have gloves. I'd say in this case, a flesh-tone head would be extra worthy.

EDIT: I was wrong. He strangely has the normal hair in the top pic, but in the bottom two he has the parted messy hair of Mutt.

A rep claims the U.S. release date is May 1. My fingers are crossed; I might get some dupes of the cool ones like the Jungle Cutter and the River Chase.

I would, but the problem is, the only one I've built is the Jungle Duel!
