    If an employee didn't care, I would suggest to ask the manager about that, if polybags are getting ripped in half that easily, the same might happen with the boxed sets if they don't keep their standards.

    I love the detail of the minifigures and the additionnal colour added to the pistols and muskets. Are those torsos custom or do they appear in any sets? One question regarding your "Northland" armies, do you use them for table-top games similar to Warhammer? Or are they for display?

    Since they are part of DoS, I'd say they'd stop when There and Back Again sets start to release. Don't quote me on that though, as I may be wrong, you could try asking LEGO Customer Service, I asked them about the Kingdom's chess set and they got back to me with good information. :P

    Welcome to Eurobricks whitegenesis, hope you have fun here! As for your question of how you could start building similar stuff to the attached file, although I'm not the most experienced I'll try to help you. :) You could try messing around with LEGO Digital Designer before you buy any specific bricks to suit your creations. My advice would be to start a bit smaller than what is in the picture at the moment, then you can work your way up! ;) If you want more tips on how to build them, I would recommend you to go to the "Special Themes" section of the forums.

    I got the Battle At The Black Gate set for 60 euro a couple weeks ago, ruduced from 75 euro. I just found out the same store is offering it at 35 euro.

    Pen-kid was mentioning that "the winner will get one of the new pirate ships sets", I believe that he thought it might be a hint to a theme, but I found why it shoudn't. :P As Blockbeard pointed out that most of us don't want our hopes too high, although I slipped a bit high before I found out the problem with Pen-Kid's point.

    Yes, "save up". I'm not going to succumb to buy Erebor and all the other Hobbit sets or anything. :P

    LEGO seems to be getting a lot of reputation since this past year with all these returns! At the moment, I'm really happy with what we're getting now, although if Bionicle returned I wouldn't know how I could be more ecstatic than I am right now!

    Wait, I just found one thing against this. :S It specifies "one of the new LEGO pirate ships sets", by that I think it means that LEGO will produce that particular set many times (like every other set) and give one of them to the winner, although I hope I'm wrong. :P If there are any issues to my point please point it out, again, I hope I'm wrong.

    I hope it will be a new theme as well, it seems so since LEGO could just have the creator logo on it if it was just one set. Why would they go through the trouble for just one set and not a whole theme?

    Firstly, I apologise for being a bit late on this. :P Anyways, I love the design of it, I like the different ways Deborah can pose with it. :) The little trans-green flat circular 1x1 just makes it for me. ;) Only suggestion I would have for this (you can ignore it if you want, don't mind at all), is to add a small bipod. The name for the piece that could help with it is "4112287: Technic Lever 3X3M, 90°" Otherwise, I love it. :)

    With my start with HF not long ago (2013), I did start with using the basic body to do basic things. Soon after I got a smaller technic set (forgot name of it), I got into making the bodies out of technic and giving it more of a technic vibe. I'm not a fan of using the standard HF building system for MOCs, so I try to do many different things with the small amount of technic pieces I have, they usually turn out as an ugly mess, but I do like the technique I use to build them and will keep practicing it. I'm going to have a look at The Mixels, and see what I can do with them too. :P

    Eh, I like them, but I do kind of see what you mean, I do agree that some of them do look boring, but I do like the Garai mask.

    This MOC is brilliant! I love the use of the king's head from Knight's Kingdom as a beard. (Note that I'm not sure if it is a beard, I don't really play Dota 2)

    This is such a good MOC in my opinion, the bulkiness and colour fit in perfectly with each other. :D
