I have one and once my collection expands enough I will definitely get another! These storage drawers are fantastic! I have one with 30 small drawers and 9 large drawers though!

Lego Baseplate Price increasing.
iamwhoiam replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Oh gosh. The tan 32X32 baseplate is going to be $9.99 CDN, could that mean that all the others will go up to that price too? -
PAB order arrived today... 115 Pieces.

I have a corner of my bedroom dedicated to Lego building. 4 tables and a chair!

Did anyone else take advantage of Double VIP points, Free Shipping and the free Holiday Set today? Also, I was actually wondering how long PAB Online Orders take to arrive? Because I know they have to come from Denmark as well as being hand-packed so I was just curious if anyone with experience knows how long it usually takes.

Hello Eurobricks! So last night we got a ton of snow and today my classes were cancelled. I had done all of my work last night so I thought why not do something with the $12 Series 4 Hazmat Guy I bought during the summertime, so here it is! So as you can see, the poor Hazmat Guy has been sent into the sewers to deal with some hazardous substances but instead he finds a creature lurking through the murky water! Here are some more pictures from a few more angles: Sorry this one is kind of dark because of my shadow: So Yeah! Here is a quick look at the minifigure! I took the Hazmat Guy's torso and headgear/gun in his right hand, the head is from an ADU soldier from Alien Conquest, and the legs are from a 2012 City Firefighter. Oh! And the Clear device in his left hand is a little thing I picked up at my last Lego Convention (Brickfete) It looked like some sort of scanner so I thought I'd put it with him. Well I hope you all enjoyed this MOC and please comment your thoughts and recommendations! Good day all, iamwhoiam

Fantastic MOC! I really like the slide at the back of the carrier! -
I am a Canadian and here's a list of places I've visited: In Canada: Sadly, I haven't explored much of my own country.. But I've been to Quebec once and I've explored all over my home province of Ontario! Worldwide: United States - Been to Michigan around 4 or 5 times and to Massachusetts once. United Kingdom - Been to London once for around 10 days as well as numerous layovers in Heathrow India - Been to India 3 times to visit relatives in the southern state of Karnataka although I've been to Mumbai once as well! France - Doesn't really count as I was simply in CDG connecting to India. Well that's my passport, but of course I'm still young and have many other places to visit!

Do you have a preferred scent of your building space?
iamwhoiam replied to legoman19892's topic in Community
Nope... I am not particular about scents while building. Although I do sometimes like to keep my window open which keeps the air in my room nice and fresh! Same with me... I'm often watching Netflix on my laptop as I build! -
I literally have zero time during the weekdays so I almost never build on the weekdays but I often spend part of my weekends MOC'ing. As for affording parts, I usually tear down my MOCs after displaying them for a few weeks and taking pictures so I don't usually need to make orders for every MOC but when I do I go to a Lego Store and buy lots of PAB.

I wish it was available online! I live in Peterborough and the closest TRU is in Oshawa which is a 30 minute drive away. Not worth it unless I'm buying a lot!

General questions about buying LEGO in the US
iamwhoiam replied to Ojik's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I highly recommend buying Lego in the US because up here in Canada our prices are greater and we have a 13% sales tax (in Ontario, the sales tax differs by province). However, our dollar is worth less than the US dollar so the prices can be similar depending on what you are buying. -
2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
iamwhoiam replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Whoa! I can't believe I just saw these today! I'll probably buy two of the Double-Decker Couch! One to display and another to display some of my own minifigures on! The other two look pretty great too! -

Looks like I have to hire a night guard for my Lego! Maybe I should do background checks on whoever enters my Lego room! Perhaps I should set up security cameras in my house! Lol, but in all seriousness I am not concerned for my own collection. However it is disconcerting to know that people are starting to steal a classic toy!

My collection is relatively new so the only problem I have is some dust! I use a compressed air canister to dust them.
