  6. Thanks a lot for your feedback. I agree to your key points. However, the cool thing about this project is that everybody can build his own designs, if it just looks compatible with the other walls. I don
  7. Allright, so I guess someone has to make the first move in order to get this project started. So here are my first ideas for the outer walls. I made three different designs that can be combined however you like. They offer connection pieces to be connected with the official 7709 Sentai Headquarter, too. That is, if we want to incorporate it ;-) But since we have to use connections anyway to make this project work, I figured it wouldn
  8. 3 days without a single reply :-( I know back-to-back posting is a bad attitude, but somehow it feels like suddenly everybody lost interest in the project, when it comes to the detailed planning process... :-( Whats up folks? Are we going to tackle this or not?
  9. I had the two space monorails and a friggin big lot of spare tracks from several ebay deals I won. All in all it was about 60 feet of tracks, and once I built a setup with all those track pieces. I managed to cover almost every inch of my living room with tracks :D So yes, I
  10. I built the speeder so often that I can build it without the instructions now...

  13. Hi there, yes, the 10 percent discount is still on, and of course I am still selling :-) Just PM me, and we
  14. Yep, they do look cool, at least what I can see on the blurry and overlighted pics ;-) However, I need some feedback for the ideas about the Modular HQ. If we really wanna tackle this project, we need to start with the base, and not with vehicles to fill the base ;-)

  16. If you want to check out some cool Space sets, please take a look at my sales ;-) http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=11674 I built all sets and took a photo of them in front of their boxes, so you can even compare the real thing with the box art. Plus, if you
  17. Okay, I tried some more, which resulted in a mere 4 hours sleep this night before I had to get back to work. It works really good. 5 studs free, one 1x2 brick with technic hole. I had another thought. What do you think? Might it be a good idea to make the wall segments compatible to the official 7709 Sentai HQ walls? I added another 2 1x2 bricks with technic holes on two more levels. Groundlevel, middle and top. So the Technic pins of the 7709 walls can be put there. Plus, I used the same color scheme. Dark grey for the Bottom line, then light grey up to the middle, then dark grey to the top again, and tan tiles for the top. The inside can be modified as you like. I made three different wall segments so far. One with the same color scheme as outside just with some orange details, one is white with red details, and another one is grey with a red gate to the outside and some stationary cannons on top to guard the gate. Furthermore, I tried to copy the look of the big holes in the 7709 walls, but still "filling" them, so the inside is really protected now. This can be done in several different ways. Add another row of 1x2 bricks from the bottom to the top every 4 studs for example, or use some bars with detailing every 4 studs or so. The only thing different from 7709 in my creations so far is that the tiles on top are 2 studs wide instead of one. This was the result of having a 4 studs wide wall base. I was too lazy to use 1x2 to 1x1 converter plates to get a single line on top. Of course it still can be done, but I think if we are going to make the walls much bigger and stronger than 7709, a 1 stud wide line would look silly :-) So if we are going to keep the sliding cannon sleds, the gap has just to be made one stud bigger. I think if we can agree to this standard, we

  20. I tried some modular techniques yesterday for the walls. And I think what I came up with could be used for the buildings as well. If we have a 32x32 plate, we
  21. I haveto say that I really liked theMecha designs, BECAUSE they were different from western and asian style. It was a mixture that just somehow appealed to me. It was futuristic in design and had this "used universe" look to it, that made Star Wars (Classic of course) so believable. Furthermore it had a bit of the ever so popular anime feel to it, with the Manga faces and hairs, the names and the japanese decals. But still it had this western feeling too, with the use of big, heavy, bulky weapons opposed to the sleek and curvy designs of japanese mecha-weapons. Even if the japanese manga and anime style continues to increase all over the world, I think it
