I think the voices are relatively decent, it's just that the sudden change is kind of strange to me. Not sure about the poor audio quality, mine seemed fine. Oh, did you watch the 5 minute mini-movie or the 20 minute special? You can get the special by playing through the tutorial level of the Invasion from Below game. Thethreevirtues is already doing a Let's Play on it.

I watched the whole movie in the game. Out of all of the other movies, this one was probably the best. However, the voice change... Just isn't right. It's like Nex's soul was absorbed by Surge. Anyway, I did get a good look at some of the new sets, and I have to admit I'm getting pretty excited.

I haven't had any of my new HF joints break yet, but my friction adder joints seem a little weaker. I do have a variety of Bionicle style joints that have broken though, including the Glatorian hands, Y joints, double-socket 7m joints, and some others. I usually keep the parts if they only have slight cracks, but they go into the bin if they break completely.

This is quite an amazing MOC! Just imagine how it would look inside the Malibu Mansion.... :D

Funny. The new sets are released near my birthday, atleast in the UK. I seriously doubt the Lego stores in the US will have the new sets, sadly. Looks like I'm stuck with Brain Attack.

Evo XL Machine has a somewhat unique build. It's different from most XL sets, and it has quite a few useful parts. (Three XT4 torsos!) Anyway, I might get this one.

I agree with Mephek. While both themes do have their merits, I think that Hero Factory is an improvement on Bionicle. First of all, while Bionicle's story was in-depth, Hero Factory's allows more 'space' for making custom storylines. On top of that, the new building system is magnificent. Who knows how many unique creations can be created with just those little plastic parts. However, when Hero Factory ends, let's hope Lego sticks with the new system. I'd hate to see it go.

I think that this machine might just be my favorite. Along with (possibly) Jaw Beast, these two will be the first sets I'll pick up.
