  1. I must admit I don't like the 2013 Castle Series very much. I only bought the cheap 4-soldiers-set for the Heads of the Minifigs I didn't have before. But I think Kingdoms is superior in every possible way except for the fact that the dragon knights do really have a dragon this time. When I got in contact with Lego again last year -after a break of about 20 years- and I saw the Kingdoms-Series I was all about "Wow, how great". I also like the older Castle Series with Dwarves and Trolls and I still love the 80's Lion and Falcon-Knights, but Castle 2013 is somehow boring. The same sets as always -castle, defense tower, carriages... What about sets like medieval market village, kingdoms joust or the terrific mill village? A new set like Guarded Inn, a big bridge, a ship or something? I understand that there must always be some kind of "traditional/basic sets" for kids, but if they continue this castle series I hope there will be some fresher ideas for sets.
  2. Oh yeah -that would be great! I'd prefer Minas Tirith.
  3. Ha -you should be thankful for that patience;-) Four stores within reach -that sounds great. Especially since you seem to have lower Prices for Lego in the US. Welcome to the Forum!
  4. Great Mini-Moc, looks really funny!
  5. Hello everybody, I hope you are in the mood for some fantasy brickfilm action. Inspired by Game of Thrones, Robin of Sherwood (80's classic) and other stuff, I made an epic fantasy Brickfilm. It contains of six parts which all belong together. Here's the Link, have Fun! http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCkd7sbeVZ2WsCQusH_sse7A
  6. One unique Character is okay, as far as I can change him easily into something else. In MEA theres only Thranduils Crown that becomes useless, if you buy multiple sets. That's okay.
  7. I agree, totally cool set. It surely fits well with the original Laketown-Chase-Set.
  8. Great Moc! Really great work. The light blue and golden bricks on the outside look cool.
  9. I have Laketown Chase and the Mirkwood Elf Army. DG Battle is okay but no must mave. DG Ambush doesn't make much sense without DG Battle, except for Beorn. So I choose Laketown-Chase, it has cool Minifigs, nice Buildings an a great boat.
  10. I like the Set of course for the great Minifigs and especialy the brown Warg (the best looking Warg I think). But think the little Wall is also quite okay. I like the shields;-)
  11. I'd love to see a hobbit-Set with Smaug. Maybe in the throne room of Erebor. Wow, there must be lots of golden coins into this one -and the Arkenstone of course;-) The last "Hobbit"- wave was pretty cool I think, especially I liked the "Mirkwood Elf Army" and "Laketown Chase"-Sets.
  12. Hello everybody! I'm new here and I want to introduce myself briefly -and I hope my English isn't too hard to understand;-) After a long time, I got in contact with Lego again last year and I decided to make a brickfilm -I always wanted to make one and after half a year of work it is finally done. It's a fantasy film which plays in a medieval world. The name is "Battle for Callahan" ('Callahan' is the name of the kingdom in which all the action takes place). The genre would be Action-Comedy. It is split into six parts, but i'ts one film (I had to split it for the upload on youtube). The whole film is about 46 minutes long. Here you can watch it: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkd7sbeVZ2WsCQusH_sse7A One thing I should mention before: All characters in the story have their own voice, but the language is German, since I'm from Germany and the "actors" are from Germany as well. But I'm already thinking about putting together a version with English subtitles. Let me know if you want to have one;-) So If you just want to have a quick look at some of the action-scenes, I'd recommend you to watch part 5, because the main battle-Scene is in it. I hope you have some fun watching it. And since this is my first brickfilm, I'd love to receive some feedback from all the experts here in the forum! Besides making brickfilms, I'm trying to build my first small MOC's. My favourite Lego Themes are Knights (Castle, Kingdoms & Classic 80's), Pirates (of the Caribbean) and The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings.
