I live in Korea. The prices you see are what people actually pay in-country for this. So you can see how much the Ebay guy is ripping people off. I've got someone testing a way to buy them directly from Korea right now, you'll pay these prices, plus a small international shipping fee. If it works fine, I'll post details on how to buy them directly.

Name: OM3302 Theme: Military Pieces: 494 Price: 33600 won ($28.49 USD) Minifigs: 8 Time: About 1.5 hours This is the second set in Oxford's 4 new military sets. This is an anti-air vehicle and humvee combined. It's another fantastic set, and it really shows Oxford improving their sets, despite already making some great military sets. Box The Box is high quality like all Oxford boxes. A tray inside and lots of images on the front and back showing off the set. The back all the various moving parts on the set. Instructions Clear as usual, this one is not made like other books. Normally you'd turn the book sideways to read the instructions but this one has them oriented like a normal book. Pieces Many, even for the price. This is bigger than the helicopter in turns of count, but the helicopter had a lot of large blocks to make up the tail section. A few good things in this. Nice wheels and tracks. Big windshield. Lots of smooth flats, several rotating pieces and 4 doors. A good hinge, but we'll get to that. I didn't grab a pic, but the time I got them debagged, they were everywhere. Minifigs 8 in this one, I'm hoping they'll make something even more awesome that'll have 10 in it like their big NCM0872 set with the 5 vehicles in it. They have the standard new weapons and old weapons, 2 sprues of new weapons, plus tool sprues. Lots of accessories in this. In fact more than you could actually put on them, so that's pretty cool. 5 helmets, 2 pilot helmets, 1 beret in this pack. Lots of great new faces including 1 female. She's the humvee driver. Construction Nothing jumps out at me at being overly difficult or unusual. Lots of structural reinforcement in the tank, so it's very solid. I found it easy to roll through this build. The pieces seemed to be sorted with some kind of logic, I can't explain it, but I had a pretty easy time of laying my hands on the pieces while I was building. Finished models Both of these are pretty great. The Humvee is a good size that scales well with other things. It also has a tow joint. What's it for? Well it just happens to fit the gun from the Helicopter set. Kind of a strange way to set it up but if you get both you get increased playability here. The anti-aircraft has the top built so that you can easily pop it off to get at the troop transport. It is not loose at all though. it feel solid and it won't just pop off while you're playing with it. The humvee can hold up to 5 people at once, including some gear stowed in the back, the AA/troop transport can fit 3 full geared people (with backpacks) and 2 drivers for 5 as well. The last one is just to provide some scale. Humvee falls between the jeep and tank, the AA is similar sized to to the tank, but a little taller. Conclusion Another great set. Minifigs - 10/10 the new figures are great. Nice faces, lots of accessories, and 8 for this low low price. Parts - 9/10 Good Oxford quality, nothing missing, pieces solid, good clutch. -1 for not including the trailer joint in the box Playability - 7/10 It's an AA and a Humvee, the two don't exactly compliment each other fully, but they do join an existing military theme very well in general. There are a lot of options in terms of loading things up, so it's still very good. Design - 8/10 I'm not crazy about the turret on the AA. It's good, but I feel it could be just a tad better. I've not yet checked to see which real life vehicle it is based on. Price - 9/10 Nearly 500 pieces, 8 minifigures for that price? It's hard to do better. Total - 43/50 You probably won't be disappointed with this, but given the choice, I'd probably pick the chopper over this one. Need more pictures/info, just ask~

Quick note http://en.bricker.ru/osets.html?brand=Oxford&family=Castle&theme=The+Great+King+Gwang-ge-to the first set here, is not from the same line, its name translates to "Great Go-gu-ryeo" which is an old name for Korea.

Kreo may be getting their designs/blocks from Oxford from what I've seen. They have a number of pieces that seem to be unique to Oxford

Here are a few more shots of the set. You can see the tongue and groove between the legs and body in this picture.

Thanks for letting me know, I never got the train stuff before. I've been a pirates guy for like 20 years ;) Don't be too surprised. Oxford does seem to design things very well. See some of my tank reviews from them. Sure I'll get a chance later on today to take a few more pictures I'm not sure. So far Oxford has been making copies of various Korean military vehicles. In the past though, they've actually indicated which vehicle it's based on. On this box, I didn't see anything saying which vehicle it is. After googling though, I think it's a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter which they seem to use. See this news story: http://www.reuters.com/article/2010/08/15/us-korea-usa-drills-idUSTRE67E06220100815 Just counted, 386 pieces on the piece sheet, 7 figures, 7 helmets, 4 backpacks, and weapon sprues.

If you were going to produce custom items for sale.....

Oxford makes an orange helmet, and a full mask helmet: The mask sits loose, but sort of sockets up with the helmet. -

I've reviewed a Ligao set. It was a horrible experience. I considered punching myself in the face just to cheer myself up. A year on, I think the pieces still stink. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=44026&st=0&p=772567&fromsearch=1entry772567

Name: OM3303 Theme: Military Pieces: No idea, I could count the piece sheet, it's not handy Price: 26000 won ($23.37 USD) Minifigs: 7 Time: About 1.5 hours As I mentioned in the military guide, Oxford has released four new military sets. This is the first one I got my hands on, and it is sexy. I'll post more pictures later, as it took longer to put together than I expected, and I ran short on time. There is a lot to cover in this review, and it's pretty much all good. This is fine chopper with some new and interesting unique pieces. Also new minifigures and new guns. Box Just a stock image, it looks the same. The Box has a great picture on it and shows off the set well. You can see all the figures, as well as get a feel for the set itself. The guy in the chopper manning the mini gun appears to be photo shopped in. I just can't see how you'd get a mini in that position without ripping his legs off. Instructions Standard instruction book. Well illustrated. Oxford has now introduced individual piece count sheet at the end, but no total. When I get a few minutes I'll go through and add it all up. Pieces Here is the interesting part. Oxford has introduced several new ideas with the new military line. We have sliding doors. Sliding doors. I need to say it twice. I don't know if Lego does that. Basically it's a 1x4 piece with a track attached to one side. The track has a groove above and below so it can be the bottom or top universally. The door has a little bit of a piece on it sticking out to help it from sliding right off. They've also got a few new shaped pieces I hadn't seen before, like new sized curved pieces. The helicopter blades are huge and great. They have attachable missiles and bombs, which are weird, because the set doesn't show them, but the sprues were included. They also have 2x4 smooth top thin blocks. I hadn't seen those before. Sort is standard Oxford sorting. I'm not sure whose logic it's based on, but you just gotta dump them all out. Minifigs 7 minifigs. These figures have a new body construction. Their bodies are not compatible with old figures. I'll get a shot of it, but the legs and torso now have a tongue and groove kind of piece set into them, so that the legs don't just plug in, they've got a tiny bit of the lower torso attached to go together. Heads and hands and accessories are still the same. They have new printed faces, and new printed torsos. They also feel better. The old Oxford minis were the only weak point. They were good, but not quite a lego figure. The new ones are much more solid feeling. Also, new GUNS. The old Oxford guns were kind of big sized. Great for a gun emplacement, but ridiculous to carry around. The new ones are probably scaled with Brickarms type stuff in terms of size. They seem well suited for the figures. I hope they'll release some mini figure sets with these sprues so that we can cheaply get more weapons that actually fit the guys. Comes with some weird pliers that are too thin to fit in anyone's hands. One of the pilot's eyes look distinctly female also! Construction There is nothing special about the construction here, except that they include 2 pieces to be used only while building it. You know normally the back end of a chopper goes down, so it's not flat. They've included 2 2x2 thin yellow flats to make the set level during construction. When you put on the wheels you take them off and they are spare. Finished models There are actually 2 models here. A Chopper and an anti-tank gun. The gun feels a little tacked on and out of place, but even if it was just the chopper at this price it'd be worth it. They're both very solid. The chopper is strong and doesn't feel loose or like you have to be careful with it. There are so many play options with this. Lots of places to put guys. Conclusion This is a fantastic model. I haven't been this excited building a model in a long time. It fits well with other military stuff already out. The chopper is just wonderful all around. I can't really find a flaw with it at all. Easy access cockpits (they have a kind of false roof, that very easily detaches to allow you to put guys in there), lots of places to store guys, an anti-tank gun tossed in, 7 figures (for this price!), great faces, great new weapons. The set just keeps on giving as you move to the next aspect. I can't score it, because as far as I'm concerned it's the perfect set right now. I really need to order the Anti-Aircraft with Humvee next so I can shoot it down ;) any questions/requests for further pics, just ask.

This is the oxford product line: http://oxfordtoy.co.kr/product/small.asp There are some much older sets not on those pages, but I've never seen anything like that at all. There is a Naver cafe or something that has all the sets listed, I had it last year when I was doing a lot of Oxford research, but I've never really seen them do an SF thing. For some reason Koreans don't really do a lot of SF stuff on their own (movies, tv shows, etc)

Hey Chrono, I'm also a Canadian living in Seoul. First daughter on the way. I've reviewed several Oxford sets on here, mostly Military stuff, but a few of the medieval sets as well. Pepperment could link you to the clone review thread I'm sure so you can get an idea of what we've covered. I just picked up the Chopper from their latest military set release. It looks nice. Oxford is great on so many levels, and honestly with a little work they could be better than Lego is right now. I mean Lego is pretty much always the king, but honestly if Oxford would put a little more focus in to their sets, they'd produce some really great stuff. I'm glad they don't shy away from guns, and they have the great military sets. Their historical sets are pretty cool, but their town sets are lacking. They need to produce some "Korean" town sets. Like store fronts with multiple businesses in them, or small "Aparts", and things like that. They do well on vehicles, but the vehicles got no where to go. One aspect I like with Oxford is that they don't skimp on figures. The chopper was like $22 and it's got 7 or 8 figures in it.

Yes, quality is good. The plastic is great, and it's very solid and snaps together well and has good clutch. It's not remotely like the Chinese brands which are much more available world wide.
-
yup, been busy, but just saw this and had to post it. I'm really looking forward to the chopper. Not sure how I feel about the Jet. Something seems off about it, but the rest looks great. I dig the Humvee too.

Oxford makes duplo sized hello kitty sets: http://oxfordtoy.co.kr/product/disney_info.asp?category=%BF%C1%BD%BA%C6%F7%B5%E5+%C7%EF%B7%CE%C5%B0%C6%BC+%C4%ED%C5%B7%C6%C4%C6%BC&Num=368 http://oxfordtoy.co.kr/product/disney_info.asp?category=%BF%C1%BD%BA%C6%F7%B5%E5+%C7%EF%B7%CE%C5%B0%C6%BC+%BA%B4%BF%F8%B3%EE%C0%CC&Num=387 but the characters look different.

Yes, I ended up posting a review on it. They were bad. Terrible clutch and they smelled awful. It took about 2 or 3 months for the smell to mostly go away. I haven't seen them lately in the Daiso stores.
-
Yes, because contrary to some people's insistence Oxford is actually of pretty high quality. Both in brick and design. A lot of Chinese manufacturers bootleg their sets, as much as they bootleg Lego. This is quite an old set design. A lot of manufacturers are bootlegging old sets that Oxford doesn't make anymore.
-
I really wasn't digging the metal look, but the brown ones don't look too bad.
-
It's an Oxford bootleg. A set they don't make anymore. If they're bootlegging the same place that Sluban is being made, then it's probably sluban quality which isn't good. Terrible figures, and clutch issues. If you get it, I'd appreciate some close pictures to get an idea of the quality.
-
actually I believe you're bootlegging a clone ;)
-
I really dig this tractor Peppermint. If I was building a city now I'd be getting you to send me one of these. I don't think I can get Click Brick here in Korea.

LG-SH150A Had it for 2 years. Contract is finally up, will be switching to an iPhone as soon as they are out here. I do love the phone though. It had multi-tasking long before the iPhone introduced it. I could easily switch between text messages, subway maps, dictionaries, games, contacts, etc without actually closing them.
-
They've already done it. I've reviewed this set look for it Their castle playsets include variations on the same models http://www.oxfordtoy.co.kr/product/small_srs.asp?category=%BF%C1%BD%BA%C6%F7%B5%E5+%C5%C2%BF%D5+%B1%A4%B0%B3%C5%E4 Not to mention this traditional rocket launcher which I've also reviewed.
