  1. Ah, I got the two options when I used my home address instead of my P.O. Box address, so I guess the speedy option is delivered by courier. Thanks again for pointing out this deal, I've ordered a Unimog too now Did you by any chance see the 7946 King's Castle and how much it is? I suspect this set is on clearance too, as they all seem to have suddenly disappeared from the shelves here in Adelaide.
  2. Thank you muchly However, did you get multiple delivery options when ordering? I only got the option of standard delivery (12 - 15 working days) at EUR 8.32. I'm really tempted to go for it, as I think ~$230 is a reasonable price for the Unimog.
  3. Ooh, nice price, well done! But looks like they've increased it to EUR 189.90 now
  4. Ho-hum, I'd love to play, but may have some time commitment issues... 1. Your past Mafia experience Sandy's Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa and def's mafystery The Coming Darkness. 2. Your availability to post frequently for the next 6-8 weeks I'm going on holidays from 13 August to 29 August and will have sporadic internet access during that time. That will probably be a problem. 3. Applied knowledge of the board software's use of the term "portal" I wasn't even aware of the term until "Tammo-gate" But I now understand it's our beloved Frontpage, and I have applied my newfound knowledge by creating a number of "hyperlinks" to it and navigating to it many times. 4. Your most embarrassing moment Short story: I pooped my pants when I was 25. Longer story: I had a piece of cake at a friend's place and got gastro overnight. (I suspect their dog had licked said cake piece, which may or may not have had anything to do with my gastro.) The next day I felt very sick and was lying on the sofa, resting my head in my girlfriend's lap. She said something funny which made me laugh, and I just couldn't keep it in and I pooped my pants on the spot. When I later recounted the story to my doctor, he said 'oh dear' three times.
  5. Congratulations with your title! :-)

  6. Fantastic! Keep them coming, please
  7. Thanks for the review, PixelFox! I never quite liked the World Racers theme in general, and thought the sets were too expensive in particular, but after reading your review I'm excited, especially about the minifigures. In Australia these sets have been sold for around 50 % off or more at various retailers for the last few months, and I've picked up almost every set at an agreeable price (and sometimes duplicates to give to the Kmart xmas appeal). I've seen the Gator Swamp for as little as 20 AUD at Target, but by then I had already picked it up from Kmart for 30 AUD I haven't opened a single one of them yet, but I think now I will have to give the Gator Swamp a go on the weekend. Thanks again!
  8. Great work, shmails! The Big Lebowski keeps cracking me up every time I see it Can you do Withnail & I? You should consider reviving the LEGO movie quiz topic.
  9. Thanks for a great game, def, and SI-mocs! Imagine my surprise at the end of day 1, when my only consolation was that I would be found to be an innocent townie, I find myself a Dark One instead! From then on, it was such a treat to read the day threads. Sometimes I really felt for those targeted by the clues, other times I chuckled to myself as suspicions and accusations were flying in various directions The hardest part for me was to decide who to kill on night 1. I wanted to kill Brickdoctor already that night, and while I still don't think that was a particularly bad choice for the Dark Ones, it would have led to a very different game. I might have seemed a little bloodthirsty, and suggested some cynical moves, but in the end I think I would have been quite happy with town winning, just from the sheer entertainment provided by the hapless townies And how would I have done as a townie throughout the game? I'm not sure. I questioned the game mechanics on day 1 in a PM to def, but I'm gullible and easy to convince everything's hunky dory, so I would probably have trusted the clues to the bitter end, and gotten killed in the process. Maybe. Anyway, I had a blast, and I hope to play with you guys again!
  10. That's a nice and somewhat tender story, def. I feel a little sorry for the sea creature
  11. I was considering it, but feared they'd be picked up by someone else before the sales starts.
  12. Ah, I really thought this was the last weekend, thanks for the update. And good point about the upcoming Target sale. I'll be picking up Alien Conquest and Spongebob Squarepants myself, you can keep the Diagon Alleys Might have to do a midnight run, though.
  13. Hinckley, you killed our thread! But I'll try to revive it again: I picked up Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle for $30 and a Clone Turbo Tank for $100 from Baby Target at Golden Grove (Adelaide). I didn't see any more around, so it may have been the last ones they had, but it might be worth giving them (or other Targets) a ring if you're still looking for those sets. This weekend is also the last of the Myer toy sale. Does anyone know if you get an extra 10 % off if you're a Myer One member?
  14. Same story with me. I also replied to the email I received from the LEGO customer service representative to ask for the missing bits, but didn't get a reply back yet, so I filled in another online form yesterday requesting two more prepacks.
  15. The first day was below average for me I have to say, but hopefully one day I will look back at my own demise and laugh Great game so far, def, and good luck to everyone!
  16. Hmpf, the clue said nothing about the degree of smiling. I'd say Scotty has what I'd like to call a Mona Lisa smile, like he did something quite naughty (a fart, perhaps).
  17. F*ck me sideways! I didn't see a smile in your passport photo, but is that an ever so slight smile I see there on your face? Good people of this vilage; I hope the clues will make perfect sense in the end. Keep looking, never give up, leave no orificestone untouched.
  18. My oh my, you are a cutie pie, you remind me of a lost kitten. Would you like me to teach you how to count to 69? Oh, and before I forget or run out of time: Unvote: Professor Flutwuck/Professor Flitwick Vote: Camanikan/Big Cam
  19. Bummer, my addition skills are seriously challenged I think I will have to concede that my numbers are truly up, which deeply saddens me, because I'm a true townie who would do nothing to harm the town Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to spend my last hours with some kittens and a box of nails.
  20. As a matter of fact, I'm starting to seriously consider that Camanikan may very well be town, but my suspicion towards Professor Flutwuck is increasing, for possibly fitting the killer description and for trying to fly under the radar today. I will therefore Unvote: Camanikan/Big Cam Vote: Professor Flutwuck/Professor Flitwick
  21. Hm, it looks like my numbers are up, and that I've done my last additions, but hopefully not. There are a coupe of things I would like to bring your attention to: Bananakin's investigation result was presented to seem overly authoritative. Was this done on purpose? I suggest that the next person who gains the powers to investigate, investigate Bananakin. There is one more person who may fit the killer description: Professor Flutwuck. She's wearing a black turban, but unfortunately we have yet to see her full figure. I know she was wearing red pants during the gathering today, but who knows what she normally wears? Professor Flutwuck; in the interest of the town, and to show that you have nothing to hide, would you kindly post your character id, please?
  22. Dear Misstress Kupp, I'm not entirely sure what your intention is with the above vote. If you wish to lynch Camanakin, you should unvote me and vote for him instead
