Target TTP (Adelaide) has the new Star Wars: The Battle of Hoth board game. It's $50, though. -

I'm in Adelaide too, and I believe what the sign said was an extra 10% off for Myer One members, on items from the current online "toyzone" catalogue. I'm not sure if the 20% off LEGO is part of that catalogue (and I believe Hewman pointed out that there only seemed to be a couple of LEGO sets in that catalogue), so it might be just a bit of luck if you end up getting the compound discount. I agree In fact I was holding the Batmobile set last night, but decided not to get it due to the inflated price. They surely got those prices wrong when people can walk away from a potential 28% discount -

Thanks for the info, I might be tempted to pick up some sets for the microfigs. Also, myer one members get an extra 10% off the current toy catalogue offers from today (Thursday) to Sunday. -

Ooh, what's this about an extra 30% off? The clearance items are 30% off the marked price? -

Kmart has Witch Doctor and Turbo Shredder Skull Truck for $35 ea. If it wasn't so early in the year I'd get a few for the Kmart wishing tree appeal. Edit: The Skull Truck is $35, I don't know about the Turbo Shredder. -
Great work, ZetoVince! It's immediately recognisable. I love the curves, and thanks for sharing instructions!

Promotional Lego storage container in sets in Korea?
KartoffelViking replied to paanjang16's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I received a Superman Vs Power Armor Lex set from South Korea last week, and it also had a small plastic container, and those foam "puzzle" pieces to make a box out of (that brickie mentioned). And like brickie, I thought that at least the plastic container was some government requirement, although it was not large enough to actually contain all the pieces in the set. Does anyone know if other construction toys sold in South Korea also comes with storage containers? -

Big W at Golden Grove (Adelaide) were putting Superheroes sets on the shelves tonight. Catwoman set was ~$24, Batwing set was ~$49 and Superman set was ~$39. Sorry, I didn't get to scan the Bat cave or Batmobile sets. However, rumor is that the Catwoman set will be $18 next week at Big W (not sure if this is next week as in this coming Thursday, or the week after). -

Excellent work, Dreamweb! I love "social commentary" MOCs, and I agree your usage of LEGO and clone-brand bricks is very appropriate here. -

I spotted the planets (and battle packs) at Big W TTP (Adelaide) on the weekend, so it's not just that Big W. Not quite a Sydney spotting, but if Adelaide has it, surely Sydney does too -

Surely with all these new sets coming in and demanding shelf space, kmart will be keen to get rid of their already reduced clearance items. I'm hanging out for further discounts on PotC and older ninjago sets, so please let us know if you see any. I had a looksie at kmart this afternoon, but nothing exciting except series 4 minifigs and hero factory 3.0 canisters are now on clearance (but still at their normal prices). -

I remember 9442 Jay's Storm Fighter was $25 and 9446 Destiny's Bounty was $119. 9443 Rattlecopter was $45 or $49. Booster packs were $7. -

Kmart TTP (Adelaide) had new city and ninjago sets on the shelves this afternoon. I was tempted to grab one of the new ninjago sets, but realised I can get them much cheaper when they go on clearance down the track -

There was a time when I used to go nuts over Kmart clearance items, because the prices easily dropped to 50% off very quickly, but these days they seem to start their LEGO clearance items at normal prices, before dropping the price a seemingly random amount at a seemingly random time However, some of the smaller PotC sets, Isla de la Muerta and Fountain of Youth, were about 25 % off RRP (not sure how much they were off normal Kmart prices). On a side note, the City of Atlantis set has been on clearance at Kmart for the last few months now, but the price hasn't dropped from $89 in that time -

Kmart has finally put the PotC sets on clearance, hopefully they will drop to a decent price in a little-ish while. -

Does anyone know if the new design sorting heads are still cheap at Kmart? Also; the City advent calendar is clocking in at a hefty $49 at Kmart, almost $20 above RRP. So it's not so much a sale, but rather an attempt at robbing unknowing parents Of course, it could be an honest pricing error too. -

Great news, a few of these will make great presents to the Kmart wishing tree appeal (or similar appeals). Thanks for the info! -

I'm not sure which overseas sources you're referring to, but I got two boxes from Magic Magnus (sounds dodgy, doesn't it) for $282.24, including postage, which turns out to be a little over $2.35 per minifig. -

City of Atlantis was still $89 when I popped by Kmart this afternoon, but the little Hero Factory 2.0 sets had dropped to $6 (from the previous $10). I picked up a few and I can see how kids like these things. Personally I'm happy I didn't pay any more for them. I didn't realise there was a button until after I had pried the lid up by force. I'm happy to say it survived my harsh treatment
