    ^ Thanks for the info. Doesn't matter now though, I don't want to spend money on a headpiece I already have, albeit in a different colour. I can get some metallic gold for less! EDIT: Let me rephrase that: I can get some metallic gold PAINT for less!

    Hmmm, that's interesting. Personally, I'm a little bit of both. If I think of something to build, I will build it. However it will not turn out how I wished and/or expected. In that case, I just let imagination take over and I just build with no end goal. I usually use such an approach to all my MOCs. To me, it is the key to building something great. For example, I usually build the ideas I post on the future ultra agents sets thread in LDD. I have an idea in my head of how it should look like. Sometimes systematically it doesn't work, and sometimes it's the aesthetics. I just fit it how it needs to be, not how I want it to be.

    Thanks all! To file off the beak, I used scissors and a nail file. I think I will paint it gold due to the feedback. Stay tuned for more!

    Decided to make a Hawkman minifigure. I began by looking at Equila's headpiece http://brickset.com/parts/6022296 and put it on Nova's head http://brickset.com/parts/6015967 . However, The beak covered up the face too much, so I spent all this morning filing off the beak and centre featherpiece. I really like its look now, do you think I should paint the headpiece gold? C&C Appreciated.
