I also thought how useful is this the torso, but it becomes the troops very very formals, like knights But well, I like with the white arms and yellow hands, brown backpack, white epaulettes, but try with black or brown pants (even sand), it should make more soldier type design I want to see an army like that

Spanish Main Pirate Game MOC's
Brig. Brick replied to Dread_Privateer_Roberts's topic in Pirate MOCs
very nice ships well done with the customized sails. and, with the little ships, try to change the cannons, they are too big for the ships, you made a good swivel gun in the first one, can use it on the rest. beautiful collection of hulls -
... The Rum ...... is ......... gone!... right?.... mmm... Pirate Crew ... has been ..... banned it is some kind of "Jamaica Discipline" or it is military discipline? do they had a chance of parley? ... what they said? something doesn't smell good in denmark, smelly bricks perhaps.....

Hi everybody! I have noticed that we always use these boats ... for everything ! but on this boat is a good chance ( not in this color of course )... so here my customs: Sloop bow stern comparison between the boat (merchant) and the sloop (pirate) but you know, always a smaller boat is better for fishing...

Hi I do have to say that I love the MMV, and the pirates topic... and if you ask if this set is worth it and is useful for a Pirate collection?, well, It worth it and it is useful in pirates... chek it out: front "open" front "close" street view: tabern and house: house/bakery p.s. the blacksmith is in repairs, and now I have three separate buildings of this set, instead of two, thanks tho the 6119: roof tiles and about buying this set or the POTC's, well, I'll say that POTC would last longer in the market , but the MMV we don't known how much longer it will lay in the stores

How does the POTC theme fit into your world?
Brig. Brick replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
I like this poll ... many variables, one or two are very true to my concept of collection, until I saw pictures of POTC. I don't like the design of the ship, very disproportionate to the stern ... and I will always hate the flesh color in minifigs, is not LEGO to me. from POTC, I like the new torsos, the new IMOS and accesories (the planet from Captain's Cabin is lovely), the new islanders design, and the all from London Escape I don't like make great changes on the lego minifigs, I mean, I feel unconfortable if I have to paint in yellow the minifig flesh, But I prefer it before use flesh so, I go with the mix of: "I'll buy sets if they have enough nice pieces for MOC work. I might place a few orders on BrickLink" "Remove the flesh parts from the POTC sets and use everything else to compliment my classic pirates" and if its necesary "Modify the flesh parts of the POTC theme to yellow and mix it all with classic pirates" -

I have some questions about getting into Pirate LEGO
Brig. Brick replied to sxavalentine's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ahoy!!!, welcome to eurobricks!!! it's great when you rediscover the love of legos you have a lot of issues here... haha 1) it's an expensive hobby? well, it depends on you, if you are a fan or an addict... 2) wich are the PIRATES sets that are a MUST HAVE and in wich quantity? there is no answer here... check out here, to see the full pirates collection... wich you MUST HAVE and in wich quantity, well depends on you 3) I'm thinking to buy an enchanted island for 45€, i loved it and islanders theme in general, it's a good price, right? prices, check it out on ebay well be fine, but a certain great lego black market should be this 4) Single pieces: which are the most important to have and in wich quantity and colours? I'm interested especially in settlements construction (fortresses, ports, refuges, island) again, bricklink or lego pick a brick are great places to acquire single pieces, the exactly piece, quantity and color depends of what you want to do 5) I tried to download LDD, but unfortunately my PC must be too old, so it doesn't run good...there is another program of LEGO design with lower hardware requisites? mmm LDD should work, you should check this forum, I had a lot of troubles with LDDv4, but I fixed it out hope thats help!!! -

it looks like a sloop of war just one thing seems odd, the squared stern, I do not think it break the waves well
-
agreed, it looks metalic, it could be white or brown... nevertheless the ship size and the interior detail are great
