You cannot see any rocks other than small pebbles on the ground. You dig around the area, but you don't turn up anything of significance. You gather some fallen branches and recall that Spag received the Standard Issue Halberd. -

QM Note:Shovels are for digging for stuff in the ground, and Picks are for breaking through obstacles, so I don't think you should be able to use one for the intended primary purpose of another. Please be more specific in what you want to accomplish by using your Pick on the ground. -
I knew it! Like I said in Chapter Nine, it was all god's doing. Modkills everywhere!

Gotham City Mafia: Conclusion

In retrospect, yes. I can't speak for the other Scum, but I didn't do it because I felt that courtesy shouldn't be sacrificed for the sake of winning a game. -
No XP? But I agree with the tedious process. Players should have to face the consequences of what they do. They need important decisions. In this case, we decided to hoard all the Gold and not buy shovels, so we have to sit around while darkdragon does all the work.

You leave the fort and take a walk to the edge of the forest. QM Note: Apologies for the wait and the MegaBloky photo. The leaves of two trees only go so far. -
Gotham City Mafia: Conclusion

I did call some people sheep, though. Just not the Town other than you as a whole. You reap what you sow, though, so if the Town is going to insult the Scum, they should expect to be insulted back. Though I agree with you that answering insults with insults is a tantrum of sorts. Well, that's kind of what I'm saying. I'm not saying you shouldn't worry about it, because you should. I'm just saying that if you don't, I wouldn't be surprised and I wouldn't complain about it. -
Gotham City Mafia: Conclusion

In regards to the kid issue, the rules of EB state that there may be some content on the site that may not be appropriate for kids. I know that that doesn't refer to taunting in mafia games, but the rules do state that immature kid members will not be tolerated. If a kid joins the site, plays in a mafia game, and can't take a taunt in that game maturely, then he shouldn't be a member of the site. Which is not to say that that gives other members the right to insult someone else, because, even in a mafia game, courtesy should be afforded to all members, but I don't think anyone should worry about insulting a kid who won't take the insult calmly and maturely. -
I forget the exact circumstances, but I know that while my first experience with EB was the Star Wars rumors, (I believe I followed a link from TBB) I didn't start to seriously consider joining until I saw Superkalle's topic about LEGO Universe Mode. I'd been a fan of LDD since LDD 1, so I was really excited to find out that I could expand LDD 3's options, and I joined because the unlock instructions were at that time placed in an attached text file that could only be downloaded by members.

Gotham City Mafia: Conclusion

I don't think it was the insulting that bothered the Scum so much as the fact that def was using insults with what appeared to be little fact behind them - and the Townies believed his insults anyways. He would tell us to stop whining or throwing tantrums when we were pretty sure we weren't, but the Townies acted as if we really did just because def said so, and then took that as solid evidence against us. -

Congratulations, Rumble Strike. Honestly, I had no idea Cornelius was the killer. Actually, I really had no clue at the end, but I think that was more of me having been sidetracked by Gotham Mafia, Heroica, and an unforeseen trip.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:Neither would have worked. One of the things I don't like about some games is how you can do anything with magic. That's about as fun as a strategy game which allows you to directly purchase anything with gold. It doesn't make you think. Like I said, don't be afraid to think outside the box of the powers listed in the rules thread, like the way Flipz is playing this Quest. -

You hand the Bedroll to Arasmyth and expend 1 Ether to attempt to strengthen the wall, but, as far as you can tell, nothing happens. Thanks. Really? I thought the Kitchen was better. I guess it was a better build, but not as impressive in photography.
