  1. Thanks, guys. Here's the second model for Day 22: It's Midi-scale RZ-1 A-wing! If nothing else, I've taken from this building experience a much increased respect for those who build A-wings. All the curves in this thing are boggling. In the end, at this scale, I just went with straight SNOT, but I'm still not really happy with it. Can't think of another way to do it, though. 2011SWAdventDay22.lxf
  2. Let's try that again. I attack Ebony Scorpion C from the Back Row.
  3. What a piece of Day 21! Midi-scale Millennium Falcon may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. Sorry, again, for the delay. The only thing I'm really not happy with in this model is the bottom and the gappiness. I lost track of time, one thing led to another, and I realized that I had build an 800-piece top half and I didn't have time to upload the pictures or finish a proper bottom in the time limits I'd set for myself. On the other hand, I love the way the mandibles turned out. 2011SWAdventDay21.lxf
  4. I attack Ebony Scorpion C from the Back Row.
  5. QM Note:Oh, I remember. That's a little too complicated to realistically build, I think. You expend 1 Ether to dig the large hole in front of the West Wall. There's no immediate effect. 6. Sorry guys, it's late, I was out with family and friends, I've got the model done but not photographed or uploaded yet, and I'm cleaning before relatives visit for Christmas. I might be able to squeeze the model in, but it's probably going to have to be two models tomorrow. And yes, I do live in the Pacific time zone.
  7. Not only is this hilarious, the builds are of your usual superb quality.
  8. He got the Anchor.Though if you would prefer, you can always give the anchor to me so that I can sell it for 30 Gold.
  9. Hasbro has rights to Star Wars action figures, and in the past they have claimed that TLG's Star Wars minifigures are action figures. TLG gets around this by claiming that the minifigs are merely accessories to the ship(s) and/or location(s) in the sets, but if a set is sold with nothing but minifigs in it, then they can't be accessories for something else in the set.
  10. You cover the ground in front of the West Wall with stakes, so that any close-combat siege engines cannot attack the wall until the stakes are destroyed. You too are now too exhausted to do anything else before the elves attack.
  11. You realize that if you work by yourself, you will have to space the stakes farther apart than you'd like. Close combat siege engines will then need to take 5 Rounds navigating between the stakes before they can attack the wall, instead of being prevented from attacking.
  12. LDD's LE Mode applies red as the default color for parts, so I could have missed coloring one. It's probably safe to say that any half-pins in that model should be Grey (BL's Light Grey) or Medium Stone Grey (Light Bluish Grey). Stabilize your rear deflectors. Watch for Day 20. It's coming in! Midi-scale TIE/ln fighter at two-ten. I'm not sure about the the tubing and bars used for the edges, but it was the only thing thin enough. I think it'll look better if it were a physical build. (those 4L bars, for example, could be bent inwards, illegally stressing the clip holding them to obtain a better transition between them and the flex tubing pieces) I also tried to find a solution to that 3-wide-core Lowell sphere, but everything else looks too gappy. 2011SWAdventDay20.lxf
  13. I don't see it either. I use that piece a lot, though, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's there. By the way, the front half should be stable, but I'm not sure about the back half, so I'm not sure how swooshable or easily buildable it'll be.
  14. QM Note:Oh! Sorry, I thought you meant holes to put the stakes into. No, you haven't dug that big hole yet.
  15. QM Note:I'm trying to keep things simple. Unless you want to dig holes.
  16. You line the area with wooden stakes. The South-East wall now cannot be attacked by close combat siege engines until the stakes are destroyed. You also are now too exhausted to do anything else before the elves attack.
  17. I was thinking to save the shield until I become a Warden, but I'm open to using it for trades.
  18. Wow, nice work, Cinna. If no one else wants it, could I have the shield?
  19. You realize that for every hero working on stakes, you can cover one small wall's length or half a large wall's length around the fort. If eight heroes work on the stakes, you can surround the fort, but they will then have no time to do anything else.
  20. QM Note:I have an idea, but a picture would help.
  21. Day 19: It's Miniland-scale TIE Pilot. I spent a lot of time trying to build the helmet, but in the end, the best I could do was pilot-fy the official build of the helmet. I'm looking forward to building three ships. 2011SWAdventDay19.lxf
  22. QM Note:You won't be able to use it in this Quest, that I'm sure of, and since it's just a box with a piece of glass in it (never mind that you don't have a piece of glass or mirror or a gem) it would have a rather low WP. Whichever gem you would have used will be of more use in someone else's hands, and if you're planning to eventually become an Evoker to use gems, you'll get more power out of a wand or staff than from this box.
  23. You remember that your Ruby is merged with your bow. You need a smith to unmerge it. In addition, you do not have the magical skill necessary to wield such a magical cannon.
  24. You remember that you only have two pieces of rope. You won't be able to build two simple ranged siege weapons and a platform that incorporates rope.
